Chapter 122: End Her Life .

Chapter 122: End Her Life .

"You know what to do right?" Laura questioned the lady before her as she trapped the girl while walking around her in a circular motion.

"I know what to do," the girl replied softly with her head bowed down watching her toes.

Laura’s brows lifted, "What exactly are you to do?" Laura questioned again for more clarification.

The girl raised her face to Laura, looking bold, she answered with authority, "I have to get close Beatrice and report every response from her private investigators," she spill up the conspiracy.

Laura smiled widely, "And,"

"End her life the moment you order me to," the girl added readily like a quote and Laura’s smile widened.

She had told Beatrice not to date Stephan but after violating her order, they also had a child right before her while her husband did not even look at her after their wedding night.

So, Beatrice must feel the pain and that pain would be depression till death. She - Laura - would make sure to have Stephen back under Beatrice’s nose and after doing that, she would let her know that she had her daughter for the longest time before killing her.

After taking Adele, she had ignored the couples for the longest time but now, they seem like bugs to her. They dared to bring their private investigators down to this country when she still don’t know where Arissa kept the girl.

Laura had searched all of the hidden places for Adele but found no clue and if she wasn’t the one who birthed Arissa, she would have plotted the girl’s death already for giving her a hard time as this is just a search for Adele.

She must say, her daughter is an extremely attentive person. The fact that she hasn’t found Adele until now, would be it’s either someone is helping from the backbone or Arissa has someone trailing behind her.

Her daughter is smart, she must give her that. For someone who left the country for three years and is still detailed with the country route, Laura fears about her daughter’s potential and that’s why she’s trying her possible best not to get one on one with her daughter.

"You may go," she dismissed the girl and with her eyes on the girl, the girl walked out of the door and into the van that would drop her at Beatrice’s house landmark.

Laura took a deep thoughtful breath and with a slow step, she paced up and down around the place restlessly.

’This would hurt Stephan,’ she thought.

Yes, it would hurt Stephan. She has been hurting him since the beginning of time by stealing his daughter right under his nose but at the same time, she can’t help but want to hurt him more.

She wants to hurt him until he admits he also felt pain when he lost her, he must admit he still loves her and until then, she would have to silently take Beatrice off the picture.

"I still love Stephan," she murmured out loud.

Even with her outburst, the large doubt in her heart never covered up. Deep down, the truth lingered in her heart that she don’t love the man but is only furious and jealous of Beatrice.

She rolled her eyes at her delusional mind for thinking such. She had loved Stephan all through her teenage. It wasn’t her fault she left him, she left him so he would do better, and just as she envisioned, he did well and now owns a company of his own so, doesn’t he think it’s time for him to come back to her?

What is he still waiting for? Now he has the money why can’t he find his way back? She is still free to break out from Alfred but she wants him - Stephan - to approach her first.

Remembering the chilly stranger’s look he gave to her that night at the auction, her heart tightened with fury. Beatrice is surely going to pay for all of these.

"Don’t blame me for doing this," she murmured as she tried to justify her wrongdoings.

"I_"

A knock came through her door cutting her off from her thoughts. Hiding her gun back into her lampstand shelf, she walked towards her door and opened it.

Opening it, confusion clouded her face as her soul left her body. From their look, they screamed murderers which wasn’t good because this wasn’t her boys. Who leads these people in here? Was it Alfred, has he decided to end her before she would strike?

Taking a step back, she tried to act fast and lock the door on their faces but they were faster because they caught her hand before she would finish processing her thinking.

"Who are you?" she yelled.

Raising a knife to her face, she drew in a sharp breath before cooperating with them. Standing still, she acted defeated as she planned on how to reach for her gun before they would harm her.

"Who are you?" she asked again. Dragging her hand off the man who was holding her grip, she pretended to fall but did it towards her lampstand.

Her eyes reached for it and ten more steps would get her there. She can’t afford to die tonight, she still has to kill Beatrice and make Alfred pay.

As if reading through her, the three men spilled themselves up and encircled her. Fright paled Laura’s face instantly. To make things worst, she couldn’t see their faces.

"What do you want from me?" she panicked unable to stand up from the floor. This might be where she would die.

Not giving her a reply, one of the men moved towards her. Laura’s fighting spirit kicked in and with a sharp kick, she kicked the man’s knee but that did not stop him from moving.

The other two men held her down. Producing a filled syringe from his coat pocket, he bent down to her and Laura’s struggles intensified.

She looked towards the door, praying for a savior but it seems whoever these men were, they seem to have cleared life out of the house.

"NOO!!!" Laura screamed when the man grabbed her arm tight. She raised her legs to kick but that wasn’t working as the man’s body was as strong as a rock and her legs only ended up hurting her after the hit.

Successfully, the warm liquid rushed down her body and his black mask was the last thing she saw before passing out.
