His Mistress is His Ex-Wife
Chapter 293: Don’t Leave

Chapter 293: Don’t Leave

’How can I tell this to my sister?’ Enzo thought to himself while looking through the car windows.

Alice and Enzo were now traveling back to the hotel. They’ve gone to see the old Smith Mansion that was burned into ashes. Enzo couldn’t bear the sight, thinking of Dominique’s tragic story.

He was so quiet during the entire journey. Alice didn’t know how she would approach him.

"I’m going to my room to rest. I can’t join you for dinner. I want to be alone for now," Enzo said, informing Alice.

"Okay. If you need someone to talk to, I’m just here. Just ring my doorbell." Alice respected his decision.

Enzo nodded, smiling at her faintly.

The moment he entered his room, he slumped his body to the floor, his back leaning on the closed door. He tugged his hair using both hands as he wanted to scream.

"How could you do this, Dad?! How ruthless!" Enzo mumbled through his gritted teeth, slamming his eyes shut.

Enzo struggled to accept this truth. He began to understand Dominique. He couldn’t blame him for plotting such revenge.

However, Dominique involved even his innocent sister. Sabrina had nothing to do with the evil act of their father. Yet Dominique used her for revenge. Athena was left broken because of Dominique’s betrayal.

After a few minutes of just sitting there, Enzo decided to go out. He went to the hotel’s bar to have a drink. He felt the need to drown himself in alcohol.

After a few hours of drinking, Enzo began to feel tipsy.

"Enzo," a soft voice was heard from behind.

He turned around to see the person who had just called him. His vision wasn’t clear because of his drunken state. He didn’t recognize the woman.

"Do you want to drink with me, Miss?" Enzo invited her in his flirty voice.

The woman narrowed her eyes on him. "Stop drinking. You are already drunk. Come with me. I’ll send you back to your room."

Enzo wanted to protest but the woman already grabbed his hand, pulling him.

"Keep the change!" She even paid the bill before escorting Enzo out of the bar.

Enzo just pouted his lips. He obediently followed the woman. She was supporting his body to keep his balance.

A few seconds later, they took the lift. She made him lean on the elevator wall.

"You are too heavy!" She complained.

Enzo chuckled at her remarks. "Thank you, Miss."

"Don’t call me Miss. I have a name. Don’t you recognize me?" She sounded annoyed and upset.

Enzo grabbed her, pulling her. Then he lowered his head, moving closer to her face.

"You resemble someone I know. I badly want to see her. Too bad, she’s not here."

The woman frowned. She thought Enzo was totally drunk to recognize her. He was even spouting nonsense.

"Who is she?" She nonchalantly asked, pushing him away.

"Lanny," Enzo mumbled her name affectionately.

The woman was dumbfounded. Her heart skipped a beat at the mention of her name.

’Is it true? Is he thinking about me? Then why? Why did he come here with Alice? I thought they already reconciled, fixing their relationship.’ Lanny thought to herself.

Athena told her that Enzo went on a trip with Alice. Even if she didn’t admit it, Lanny felt upset with Enzo. She was also jealous.

In a fit of anger, Lanny decided to follow them to Vozton City. She had just arrived tonight. She was like a stalker, following Enzo. Using her connection, she found out where Enzo was staying.

She was surprised when she found out that Alice and Enzo were occupying different rooms. She was on her way to her room when she saw Enzo step out of the elevator.

She secretly followed him. Then she saw him enter the hotel bar. She didn’t have any plan to approach him. She just chose a spot wherein she could watch him secretly.

She waited, expecting Alice to join him. But Alice never showed up.

After watching him for an hour, Lanny could no longer stay still. She finally approached Enzo, stopping him from drinking further.

Ding!

Lanny’s train of thought was disrupted by the sound of the elevator door opening. They reached their floor.

"Let’s go!" Lanny dragged Enzo out of the elevator. "Where’s your keycard?" she asked him.

But Enzo shook his head. "I don’t want to go to my room. Let’s drink some more!"

Lanny pursed her lips, glaring at Enzo. "Stop being stubborn!"

Lanny moved closer to him, checking his pockets. In a few seconds, she found his keycard in the back pocket of his pants.

With their intertwined hands, Lanny kept pulling Enzo, leading him to his hotel room. Enzo didn’t resist.

It did not take long before they reached his room. Lanny opened the door for him. Then she pushed him until both of them reached his bed.

"You should sleep now. You are not allowed to drink. Just stay here," Lanny said in her commanding tone. She was like a wife reprimanding her naughty husband for drinking too much.

She was about to leave the room when Enzo suddenly grabbed her, hugging her from behind.

Lanny was caught off guard by Enzo’s sudden advances.

She tried to free herself from his grasp but to no avail, Lanny was trapped in his arms. Enzo was holding her body tightly.

"Stay here with me... Don’t leave me..." he whispered in her ear.

Her body stiffened, freezing her in place.

"I miss you... Lanny," his next words melted away all her resistance.

’He recognized me. He already knew that it was me.’

Before she could utter a word, Enzo’s lips started to move, planting kisses on her nape and her neck.

Then his palm groped her breast, squeezing it gently through the fabric of her shirt.

Lanny could only moan, shutting her eyes as she finally gave in to the temptation. She wanted him as well. She yearned for his touch and kisses.

Enzo slid his arm under the hem of her shirt, his palm moving up until it captured her breast underneath her shirt.

Lanny arched her back, resting her head on his sturdy chest as she let his hand explore her body.

Enzo had just unclasped her bra when suddenly they heard a doorbell.

Ding! Dong!

It was followed by Alice’s voice.

"Enzo? Are you still awake?"
