The next morning, the internet was flooded with stolen photos of Athena and Dominique. In a short span of time, their affair became a viral topic on social media.

Athena’s name dominated the headlines, tagging her as a Shameless Mistress, Worthless Homewrecker, and Evil Slut.

Her once-good reputation was dragged through the mud in just a few hours. This was all because of Therese’s revenge.

Athena was still sound asleep in her bed when her phone rang continuously. The loud noise interrupted her sleep.

She groaned as she lazily dragged herself up, reaching for her phone.

"Hello?" She answered the call, her eyes still half-closed.

"Athena! Where are you?!!" Lanny’s worried voice echoed from the other line.

"Home. On my bed. Why?" Athena asked her, rubbing her eyes as she sat up.

"Don’t leave your house today! Something big happened!" Lanny informed her urgently.

Athena yawned. "What happened?"

"Someone posted your photos together with Dominique. Someone took your photos yesterday when you went to Golden Villa to meet him!"

Athena’s eyes widened upon hearing that. All her sleepiness suddenly disappeared.

"What kind of photos?" Athena asked, frowning deeply.

"Open your laptop! See it for yourself!" Lanny instructed her. She was both upset and worried.

Athena quickly got off her bed, grabbing her laptop to check the entertainment news articles online. She frowned as soon as she saw her photos with Dominique.

One photo showed that Dominique was hugging her. The other one was Dominique’s forehead kiss. From the angle, they looked very intimate.

But she wasn’t affected at all. Athena’s lips curled up into a satisfied smirk.

"Someone already did the task. I should thank that person for doing this." Athan chuckled.

She didn’t care if she was branded as a mistress with no morals. This was part of her revenge to destroy Dominique’s marriage.

"Sigh. But I hate it! People are bashing you, posting so many negative comments about you!" Lanny sounded more pissed than her.

"Don’t worry, Lanny. The damage has been done. We just need to move forward. Besides, last night, I ended things with Dominique. I made him choose and he chose his wife over me. I hope this scandal will break Sasha’s heart." Athena had been preparing herself for this moment.

Lanny heaved a sigh of defeat. "How about my brother? How are you going to calm that raging devil? He will be super jealous once he sees these photos."

The smile on Athena’s face disappeared at the mention of Vladimir. "Don’t worry, Lanny. I’m going to explain to him everything."

"Okay. But I will still ask the PR of YG Entertainment to block those sites that are spreading your photos. Don’t forget. You just stay put in your house. The media people are trying to look for you. I will ask my brother to send some men to guard your penthouse." Lanny reminded her.

"Thanks, Lanny. I know what to do. But I need your help. Can you prevent Kimmy and Aaron from seeing this? I don’t want them to read those harsh comments. I don’t know how I will face Aaron. That’s my only fear right now." Athena didn’t want her son to misunderstand her.

"I will keep that in mind. I will suspend them from using their mobile gadgets starting today. They are grounded." Lanny reassured her friend.

Athena thanked her once more before they ended the call. She checked her miscalls history and Ashton’s number was there. He tried contacting her as soon as he saw the articles.

’Sigh. It’s time to deal with Ashton. Although he hadn’t harmed me before, he had turned a blind eye to Sasha and Dominique’s scheme against my family. So I can’t consider him innocent. Using him and deceiving him was my revenge against Ashton.’

Athena was still lost in her thoughts when she heard a knock at her door.

"Sister, It’s me. Enzo. Are you awake now? May I enter your room?" There was a hint of concern in his voice.

Athena took a deep sigh. She could tell that her brother had seen the scandal already.

"Yes, Bro. Please come in."

Hearing her signal, Enzo entered her room. He was holding a tray of food for her breakfast.

Enzo didn’t bring up her scandal. He just placed the tray on her bedside table and sat next to her, on the edge of her bed.

"Bro, aren’t you going to ask me anything?" Athena broke the awkward silence.

But Enzo just looked at her with eyes full of understanding. He ruffled her hair as if she were a kid.

"You are a big girl now. You know how to take responsibility for your actions. So I won’t lecture you. Besides, I know this is part of your revenge plan."

Hearing those words from Enzo, her eyes suddenly burned with tears. She felt touched.

"Then give me a hug. I need it right now." Athena opened her arms.

Enzo chuckled before pulling his sister into a hug. "Don’t worry. Everything will be fine. Just avoid reading the comments. You’re the real victim here, not Sasha. If people curse at you, I’ll always be here to defend you." Enzo reassured his sister, expressing his unwavering support.

"On a positive note, you’re even more famous now," Enzo added, making some jokes to lighten her mood.

Athena hit his shoulder and giggled. "You’re crazy!"

"You are crazier than me," Enzo retorted.

The siblings burst out laughing, ignoring the bashers who were harassing Athena in the comment sections. Athena closed her laptop and decided to eat her breakfast while her brother was watching her.

"What’s your plan now, my dear sister?" Enzo asked her expectantly.

"We are going to take back our company. I’ve already gathered enough shares to overthrow Dominique’s management. We can reclaim what’s ours!" Athena declared confidently.

Enzo nodded, gazing at her meaningfully. While Athena was preoccupied with her own plans, Enzo had also taken action behind her back. He had begun investigating the root cause of the cycle of revenge between Dominique and their family.

’I’ll tell my sister everything once I get the truth. For now, I have to keep this from her.’

Enzo began gathering information related to the incidents of the past. Dominique had shared his side of the story, but Enzo couldn’t hear his father’s perspective because he was gone. He needed to investigate further to uncover the truth.
