Dominique didn’t expect Sasha to threaten him by committing suicide. Furthermore, her pregnancy shocked him the most.

Sasha started punching his chest while crying. "You can’t divorce me. You can’t abandon me. Dom."

Dominique could only clench his fists. He couldn’t ignore Sasha’s treat. She was capable of doing that.

So in order to calm her down, he grabbed her, embracing her. He was consumed by his guilt and regret.

’I shouldn’t have married her in the first place. I shouldn’t have involved her in my revenge. It was my fault for giving her false hope.’ he thought, blaming himself.

"I’m sorry, Sasha. I’m sorry." Dominique apologized as he tried to console her.

Sasha concealed the smile on her face. She succeeded in threatening Dominique.

’I knew it. Dominique won’t allow me to get hurt. His conscience won’t be able to handle it.’ Sasha tightened her grip on Dominique’s body, her face resting on his chest.

’Dominique is mine. No one can steal him away from me. No one can separate us.’

When Sasha calmed down and stopped crying, Dominique escorted her to their bedroom. Getting stressed and emotional was not good for the baby’s health. He just told her to take a nap.

After leaving Sasha in the room, Dominique proceeded to his study. He sat there, looking at the wall absentmindedly.

’What should I do now?’

Dominique was reminded of Athena. He thought ending things with Sasha would allow him to have another chance to be with Athena and their son, Aaron.

However, things became more complicated because of Sasha’s pregnancy. How would he explain this to Athena?

He shut his eyes, rubbing his temples. He didn’t know what he should do now and another matter had been troubling him for a while. It’s Vladimir and Athena’s relationship.

"I miss her," he softly mumbled. He opened his eyes and reached for his phone.

’I want to see her.’

Dominique: [ Athena, are you available? Let’s meet. ]

Dominique sent her a message. And Athena replied immediately.

Athena: [ Sure. Where do you want us to meet? ]

Dominique’s eyes lit up after reading Athena’s message.

Dominique: [ Golden Villa... Now ]

Athena: [ Ok ]

He hastily stood up, grabbing his car keys. He stepped out of his study, rushing to his garage.

Meanwhile, Athena looked at her phone screen with conflicting thoughts in mind. Then she glanced at Vladimir who was currently talking to Enzo.

"I need to speed up my revenge. Vladimir deserves my faithfulness. I don’t want to do something that will make him upset." Athena murmured as she made up her mind.

As long as she still had unfinished business with Dominique, she couldn’t be together with Vladimir.

"Athena!" Lanny’s voice snapped her out of her deep thoughts. "The kids are now sound asleep. They get tired from playing."

Athena smiled and nodded.

"Lanny, I have to go somewhere. I’ll be back quickly. Can you accompany them while I’m not around?" Athena was referring to Vladimir and her brother, Enzo.

Lanny looked at her in puzzlement. "Are you meeting him?"

"Yes. He wants to talk to me. Besides, I have something to tell him. Can you keep this a secret from Vladimir?" Jane met Lanny’s gaze, pleading with her.

Lanny heaved a sigh of defeat.

"Of course. I can’t tell him, or else, he might explode from too much jealousy." Lanny waved her hands exasperatedly.

Athena could only giggle at her last remarks.

"Don’t worry, Lanny. Everything will be done soon."

"Alright. You should go now so that you can come back early. Do it while my brother is still occupied. He might look for you if he finds out you are not around."

Athena gave Lanny a quick hug before sneaking out of her penthouse. She made sure Vladimir and Enzo didn’t see her.

As she was on her way to the Golden Villa, Athena didn’t notice that a private vehicle had been tailing her.

Therese held a grudge against Athena so she hired a paparazzi to monitor her movement and discover some shady things related to Athena. She was going to get back at her for the humiliation she received after the concert. Her shows were also suspended because of Athena.

After twenty-five minutes, Athena reached the Golden Villa. Dominique had been waiting for her at the entrance gate.

She had just stepped out of the car when Dominique suddenly grabbed her, pulling her into a tight embrace.

"Athena... I’ve missed you so much." Dominique held her body in his arms for a long moment.

Athena just allowed him to hug her. She remained cold as if she was no longer in the mood to pretend. But she had to.

Dominique finally broke the hug, planting a soft kiss on her forehead. Then he held her hands. "Let’s go inside."

Athena just bobbed her head as she followed him inside. The two of them were clueless that someone had already taken pictures of them.

The paparazzi sent them to Therese right away as he waited for another chance to take new photos. He knew Dominique Smith. He was popular in York City because of his love story with Sasha.

What he witnessed today would become big news... a big scandal that would shake York City. He didn’t expect that the new rising famous singer worldwide was having an affair with a perfect husband, Dominique Smith.

’Damn. I caught big fish today. I’m glad I accepted this job! Hahaha!’ The paparazzi rejoiced as he watched the photos taken by his camera.

It did not take long before Therese received the photos. She was in her condo sulking when her phone beeped.

She lazily picked it up and checked the message. After a few seconds, her laughter bubbled up in her room.

"Hahaha! This is perfect! I knew it. This woman is a bitch. A homewrecker. No wonder I saw Mr. Smith leave her dressing room a few days ago. So my suspicion is true. The two are having a secret affair. Haha! Just you wait, Athena. I will reveal your dark side to the world."

"People will hate you for being a homewrecker!"
