Chapter 119: The Princes

Chapter Hundred-Nineteen – The Princes

(Kingdom of Damancas, Second Prince’ Quarters)

Arcadia slowly drew her sword from her side. The girls massaging the Princes froze, leaving the Princes.

It wasn’t enough to snap the Princes from their kissing and groping, so Arcadia pointed her sword at the youngest Prince. "If you don’t mind, your sword lessons start now!"

No response. She smirked. Holding the end of her sword, she flung it at the youngest, the fourth Prince.

Just in time, a hand caught it and threw it back to her. Arcadia caught it easily. "Oh, I finally got your attention."

But it wasn’t even of the fourth prince, his head was buried in the chests of the lady seated on him.

The first Prince frowned at her, the lady he made out with hung in his arms, brushing his long blonde hair.

"Arcadia, no matter your status as General in my Kingdom," his brown eyes flashed angrily. "You should never try to harm one of my brothers!"

Arcadia’s eyes darkened on him. His Kingdom? That should be the best joke she had ever heard him make.

He was only one step from being as useless as his immediate younger brother.

The King couldn’t even see him as a worthy heir to his throne and only hoped one of his four sons will change.

But now, they’ve corrupted the youngest to a path of debauchery.

"I thought I said his sword lessons started, fault your brother for lending his ears to the dead while living." She sheathed her sword. "Second Prince, I don’t need to send a flying arrow to you before you follow me."

The second Prince detached from the lady in his arms. "Hmm... Arcadia, you’re in bad mood." He smirked, his hazel eyes gleaming wickedly. "Why don’t I help you—"

Arcadia’s hands went to her sword and the Prince swallowed down his words.

The lady on him, raised her body, running her hand through his black hair. "Second Prince, you don’t have to listen to this—"

Arcadia’s sword came to her neck. "Get off him or I’d end your pathetic existence. Second Prince, you wouldn’t want to be stained in this swine’s blood, would you?"

The girl shivered, looking at the second Prince with pleading eyes. His gaze on her was cold. He left where he sat. "Wait for me here." He told the girl as he walked out.

As Arcadia left, the other Princes continued their acts and her body shuddered, she quickly closed the door behind her. That quarter was hell for any sane lady.

She held her sword over her shoulders preventing the second Prince from making any lewd comment to her or starting any conversation with her.

She could guess what he’d ask. Why he got summoned to the palace. But she had no idea but she was sure it wouldn’t be to marry the princess, the king disagreed.

At the lowest step, she told him. "The first question the Queen asks you, tell her a solid ’no!’."

Arcadia pointed her sword to the ground. "The moment you say ’yes!’, I’d hunt your harem and kill them all, after all, you wouldn’t be needing them anymore."

The second Prince swallowed down nothing. Ordinarily, the General had no right to threaten him, a Prince, but he doubt he could take her in a fight so he’d let it slide.

"Hmm... I’d try to r-remember." He said in between nervous chuckles. He relaxed when the General left.

The guards bowed to him as he strolled into the hall.

He ran his hands through his hair, wearing a deep frown. "Mother, Father, if you wanted to see me, you could have sent anyone but Arcadia."

The Queen smiled on seeing her son. "My boy...!"

The King sighed. "Anyone other than Arcadia or her twin, then your mother and I would only see you the next day. Either ways, we brought you here for important—"

"Say, honey, would you be interested in getting married to the brave and beautiful princess of Green Valleys?!" His mother asked with sparkly eyes.

The second Prince’s face contorted to a scowl. Was this the question Arcadia said she should reply in the negative too? He would have anyway.

Who’d want the unknown daughter of a dead King and a conquered Kingdom? He didn’t want a sad girl as wife.

"No, Mother." He turned from his mother to avoid seeing her sad face. "You called me here for, Father?"

The King cleared his throat. "The Princess of Green Valleys have rescued her people from captivity. Green Valleys exist but under the new pack."

The Prince’s lips parted. "She rescued it..?"

With what army? What did she sacrifice? Was that why mother called her brave? This unknown princess.

"Yes, in such, our alliance with Green Valleys is still intact. I want you, as emissary, to visit her and give gifts and congratulations." The King continued.

The Prince took a step back. He should visit a place crawling with Lycans? Was his father serious?

His shoulder’s fell. This was their plan to discard of him after his consecutive failures, wasn’t it?

"I want the Princess to know she’s not alone. Hopefully, her other allies will encourage her as well." The King smiled. "Can you at least do this?"

Those words stabbed the Prince, he looked down. If he declined this job, his father would call him useless again.

If he’d be honest, he looked forward to knowing what exactly the princess did to free her people.

"I’d go with a witch, that’s my only condition."

Lycans feared witches, they’d not dare to attack him if he had one. No matter what, he’d return unscathed as witches also had teleportation magic.

"Fine then." The King sighed.

It wasn’t a great idea to send a witch to a Lycan Pack due to their history but he’d hope for the best. The problem will lie with the witch not even the Lycans.

Lycans knew better not to attack but the witch could get overconfident and attack. He’d have to give the assigned witch instructions before their departure.

"Very well. I’d make arrangements for it. Mother, Father, goodbye." The second Prince bowed before leaving their presence.
