Chapter 122: Through Angel Eyes

The speeder took off for the Z-1. Jared was sitting beside Tim and lay his head upon him. "You know that Timothy will always be watching after his little brothers, and his sister when she comes."

Tim couldn’t speak; he just wrapped his arm around Jared and held him close. The speeder began to make its descent to its landing pad on the ranch. From the looks of it, everyone turned out to welcome Jared and Tim back home.

Emma left the two with Ed and Carter as she made her way home to her family.

Leo was waiting on her, holding their daughter Allison. Max had the perfect cup of coffee ready for her. Emma was wiped out, but she still wanted to see what was on the video file that Jared handed her.

Emma asked Max if he would please plug the file into the viewing monitor. With a remote, she turned the unit on and they sat down, all three of them, and watched it.

It started out with a young man about sixteen who was a dead ringer for Tim, and he spoke.

"My name is Timothy Zachary Spinelli II, and this is my life. Not the life that I would’ve chosen should I have been allowed to be born into this world. The hatred of Genmen and hybrids must end."

The first scene was when the whole side of the construction warehouse exploded outward and smoke, dust, and debris bellowed out of the front door with people running. Emma pushed stop on the remote.

She looked at Leo. "I have to get Zack, Ed, Carter, and Tony Corday from the GBI here. They need to view this as soon as possible. I don’t know where this footage came from because we don’t have cameras like that here—this is like someone looking at the scene of the explosion happening. This is beyond any technology that we’ve ever had."

Leo agreed with her—this here was definitely a higher power at work. Emma called Zack. "At your earliest convenience, I need to have a meeting so that I can show you a video clip file that was left for me, but we need to make sure that Tony Corday of the GBI along with Ed and Carter are also there. This will explain the letter that you received, I do believe."

"Okay, Emma, if we do this tomorrow when we’re not so exhausted, it would be a lot better when we’re able to refresh our minds and our bodies and then we can view this file that you have."

"Zack, when I open this file and put it on the viewer, you must be able to open up your mind and believe in things that are too far-fetched for the common person to understand." Emma’s voice grew serious. "I’m having a problem myself right now with what little I saw. Neither Tim nor Jared should see this until later."

"Emma, if you think that’s what’s got to be done, I don’t have a problem with it. I’m gonna visit with Harry and my kids along with Luther and my new grandson tonight."

Emma bid Zack goodbye until morning.

The next morning, Zack, Emma, Ed, and Carter met at Zack’s office. Emma stood up. "Gentlemen, I’m about to show you a video clip. Nothing on this clip has been changed, and it’s all correct and true. It might be hard for some to grasp what you see in this clip, but that doesn’t make it fake." She paused, gathering her thoughts. "The person speaking at the beginning of the clip is exactly who he says he is, right down to the scar on the left side of his forehead. I asked for a private screening before anyone else sees this, and it should be only shown to family members at this time. But it will debut when the center opens for everyone to view and interpret for themselves with a disclaimer that all participants in this video are real."

Emma hit play on the computer terminal, and it opened to the first scene where Timothy introduced himself. The next scene was the building blowing up and coming apart. As they viewed the film, Zack, Ed, and Carter couldn’t believe what their eyes were shown. As the Genmen and humans worked side-by-side to remove the debris from the trapped people below, there were glowing beings guiding their hands and actions as to assist them with superior strength.

When they finally reached the bottom where Jared lay trapped, one of the bright entities appeared to have protected him with a set of wings wrapped around him. One of the wings was broken from one of the heaviest beams. As he unwrapped himself from the protective stance around Jared, you could see that there was a feather trapped between the being and Jared’s stomach where the baby was contained.

The workers used devices to get Jared out safely, and these were also handled by these glowing beings. One in particular followed the crew that loaded Jared on board the speeder. It entered the vehicle and took its place beside Jared’s broken body. The speeder took off and disappeared, and the glowing beings departed also, following the speeder and surrounding it as if to protect it from harm.

The next scene in the video clip showed the speeder landing at the hospital. The team removed Jared from the speeder, and it was followed by the glowing being that slowly took form—it was Sister Agatha. Emma stopped the clip, and on the freeze-frame, you could see the cross necklace around her neck. It was the same necklace that was in the picture of Timothy that Sister Agatha gave to Tim and Jared.

The rest of the clip was the process of the surgeries and delivery of Timothy. Just like Tim said, she came and brought Timothy with the child so he could see and hold the baby. Timothy was also carried to Jared to hold. The baby was then handed off to more bright beings.

Other things happened until it got to the point where it looked like you were seeing through someone’s eyes as they walked. To the right opened a set of doors. Through those doors, standing together, was Zack, Ed, Carter, Emma, and Tim. It showed the person walking as the video panned around to see all standing in the hallway.

A young man’s voice spoke. "I am not gone, I am just temporarily displaced. I will watch after my brothers and sisters forever, but for now I have other things to do for the Father of us all."

The video clip turned very bright and ended.

Everyone sat at the table. No one could speak—there definitely wasn’t a dry eye in the room whatsoever.

"Gentlemen, what you have witnessed is nothing short of a miracle. I believe that the letter that Jared handed off to Zack will find those who are responsible for this tragedy." Emma’s voice was filled with conviction. "But from tragedy and adversity, the future shall start, and it will start right here with this complex being completed in record time, as safety is a number one concern."

Zack cleared his throat. "There’s one other person who needs to see this, and that’s Tony Corday. The clip will never leave this safe—there will be copies made if it’s possible to see everything on a copy, but the original will stay here and it will be locked into a system that will feed the display of the clip when it is made into the archive histories at the Museum. It shall never ever be left unprotected so that anyone could destroy this fact."

They all agreed on that fact.

"If someone didn’t believe in a higher being or in angels before this, they certainly will believe after viewing it." Carter smiled. "Nothing like this here, even with the best video and editing equipment on this planet, could create this—it’s like looking through someone else’s eyes as the events took place."
