Help! My Male Employees Are Having Babies!
Chapter 117: Pregnancy Doesn’t Mean Lazy

Chapter 117: Pregnancy Doesn’t Mean Lazy

Tim looked around and thought for a second. "Sure, no problem. If Artie’s got my scans already done and they can see where the babies have started growing since my first exam when I was two weeks along, yeah, I have no problem with them. And as far as seeing my vent stretch and push out whatever child, it doesn’t bother me. I’m not ashamed—I am proud to become a dad, I’m proud that I have Mr. Ed’s children inside of me. It’s a little embarrassing to see my stomach start to swell up, but hey, this is for the greater good of all Genmen, hybrids and humans."

Emma nodded with satisfaction. "I want this exhibit to be ready prior to the launch and will finalize it as soon as Tim does give birth, but he’s gonna give birth well before we’re finished with the final touches and opening."

Ed walked in the door and saw everyone sitting there talking. He looked at Tim with disapproval. "Young man, you know the rules—you’re supposed to be—"

"It’s okay," Carter cut him off. "I told him it was fine. We’ve been talking and I stopped him from putting on clothes. Besides, don’t you think he looks good just the way he is?"

"Yes, Carter, that’s beside the point," Ed replied firmly. "Emma is here—she’s a guest in our home and he shouldn’t be showing off his anatomy toward her."

"Mr. Hawthorne, I mean Ed, unbeknownst to you I have seen everything Tim has to offer, because I am creating a visual representation of the ultimate Genmen," Emma interjected. "It is going to carry Tim from the first time that he had his first scan as the babies develop all through the entire process up to the time that you and him are in the delivery room as he delivers the first of your two children that he carries. I’ll even show you placing it up on his nectar gland, if you don’t have a problem with it, do you?"

Ed’s expression shifted to one of surprise. "So, Emma, you want to put me in this show? And Tim when he’s laid up there for the whole world to see our children coming out of his vent?"

"Ed, I sure do," Emma replied confidently. "This is going to be holographic and interactive—it’s nothing like you have ever seen before until we cut to the live birth."

"Okay Emma, whatever you want, whatever you need to do I’m right there," Ed agreed. "I’ll back you 100%. I trust you and you’re the expert in this field. You’re going to create our display and going to create our politically correct, but more importantly, historically correct interactive shows in our museum, archives, the library and learning center for all to attend. Great."

Ed’s demeanor shifted to business mode. "But right now, I gotta pick up a couple plans and get them back over to Ben who’s waiting on me and Zack. I’ll go through it with Zack before he gets ready for baby watch with Robbie. So I’ll be in and out of the house a lot."

"A lot more than I thought," he continued. "I’ll be out mostly. Tim, we could use your help over at the construction office. Just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you get to lay up and be lazy. You know what time it is—all hands on deck."

He gestured around the room. "Everyone is included, everyone is important and everyone must work. So get your ass dressed in the work clothes that you can still fit into. If you need to leave a couple of buttons undone because your waistline has expanded, they’ll just have to get used to it, because I love you and I think you’re beautiful."

Ed leaned over and kissed Tim, then looked at Carter. "And I also love you first and foremost. We’re going to be very happy as a family together—all of my children are beautiful and so are their dads."

Tim looked around at everyone. "Carter, Lex, Emma, everybody whoever, I need to go help. So if you’ll excuse me, I will go get dressed and then head to the warehouse construction office."

"I’ll see you later Emma, whenever you get ready to start filming and putting it together," Tim added. "Just let me know and I’ll do whatever you need me to do. I’ll work it into my schedule either before or after hours and we’ll get this interactive message for the masses on the road."

Emma let out a sigh of relief. "That was easy. I hope the rest of my day goes this easy. Now, I’ll walk over with Tim to the construction warehouse because that’s another one of my meetings with Zack, Ben and Robbie. With Zack and Robbie going out on baby watch, it hopefully will not slow anything down."

She continued outlining the day’s plans. "William is coming over to lend what he can of his expertise, Paul is going to be there with the engineering portion, Deke is going to be there along with Raymond and quite a few others. So hopefully within a week we’re going up with the building."

"With the labor force that we have here on these ranches together, this structure is going up in record time," Emma added. "I just hope that Tim has delivered by the time we get the finishing touches done and we’re ready to open."

Carter shook his head in approval. "Go get them, Tiger. You’re the woman for the job—excuse me, lady for the job."

"Carter, obviously you haven’t seen me in action on the construction site," Emma laughed. "I make men cringe with some of the words that come out of my mouth. They are not fit for any children’s ears and sometimes even adults."

She grinned mischievously. "I really get into my projects and even Leo will hide from me. It’s a good thing he has Max at home to keep him satisfied. Good thing I have Max there for Allison’s benefit, because I’ll be putting in long hours, but I still make time for the ones I love."

On the walk over to the construction office, Emma asked Tim a question that had been on her mind. "If she could lay her hand on his belly to feel the children?"

"Hey, who am I to deny a future fan?" Tim replied warmly. "Feel all you want, Miss Emma. These babies are very active today—must be excited to go to work."

She couldn’t believe how tight his stomach still was. Yes, he was pregnant, very pregnant already, but yet he still had muscle tone and control over his body. Genmen were truly amazing, and yet this Genmen was the ultimate one.

When the two reached the construction office, Emma was a total professional. She laid out some new plans and additional updates that she felt needed to be done—there were going to be no stairs, only elevated walkways and elevators. She wanted the public to have total access; no one should ever be denied the opportunity to learn history, factual history at that. Everything was going fine with the meeting, everybody was in total agreement, and they loved Emma’s alterations to the design that had already been made.

"And gentlemen, this is why she is in charge of this project," Zack smiled. "She’s the COO, curator and designer for this place, because Emma Rich is the best and at the Z-1 we only want the best."
