Chapter 155: From Now On

"AHHHHHH!!"

Adam’s screams tore through the air, raw and ragged, as he writhed in agony, desperately trying to yank his hands free.

But the pain only deepened.

Minerva stood with intentional cruelty on his left hand, her full weight pressing down through the cruel soles of her boots. The wood was rigid, unyielding, its grooved teeth gnawing into flesh and bone like a vice.

CRACKKK!!

A sickening snap echoed out.

Adam’s cries rose to a new, unbearable pitch as he felt his fingers snap, crushed slowly between the cold stone and Minerva’s merciless heel. It wasn’t just the bones breaking. It was his his spirit that was also splintering, under the pressure.

Adam tried to escape, but he began to wonder how the hell did he got himself into this situation to begin with.

— 3 Months Earlier —

"Alright, kid. Starting today, we’re uppin the stakes. No more holdin back now that we’ve seen what you’re really packin."

Minerva said to Adam as she made her intentions clear on the matter.

"And how do you even do that?"

Adam asked, clearly bewildered by the steps that would be taken here.

But what Priscilla suggested really rise the stakes.

"Starting tomorrow, you’ll be training under Minerva for three years, we’re going to push your body to its limit and exploit that Shinso gift of yours until it’s second nature."

Priscilla said to Adam.

Taking him by suprise.

At this juncture, Minerva appeared behind him, and hold him a teddy bear from behind.

While whispering into his ears.

"Where going to have so much fun my cute little monster."

Those where what Minerva said to Adam.

But in Adam’s humble opinion, this was anything but fun.

Either way, his fate has been seal.

And since then, what both Adam and Minerva had been doing could only be described as torture.

Phsycial and unbearable torture.

Since that day Minerva has been taking him to different worlds to train.

Right now they are in different universe, somewhere in the multiverse.

There are infinite universes out there, like bubbles floating in Vast sea of possibilities.

Each one follows its own logic, its own timeline. From past, to present... and yes, even to future.

In those countless realms, fate exists. Destiny takes form.The future is a path, visible to those with the eyes to see it, sometimes written, sometimes changeable, but always present.

But in the Human World, or the Universe where the Overlord resides.

It is the main universe from which all other universe’s are born.

As such it is know as the True World.

The True World is the origin, the nucleus, the heart of the Human World. The beginning point from which all infinite universes branch. It is the first world, and will always stand at the center of The Human World.

And within it flows the Alpha Timeline, a stream of time utterly unique among all others timeline within the Present World of Man.

If the Multiverse has Past, Present, and Future.

The True World only has the Time-Frame of the current Era of the ruling Overlord, meaning the past where the Overlord exist and resides in.

When One Overlord dies, it is death and end of a history. As such that era is place into the second of the of Three Worlds.

The World of the Past.

The World of the past is archive fantasy of old. This means the World of the past becomes nothing more but fantasy, or old stories.

And those Timeline or Universe within it are viewed as information in the form of Data as it no longer apart of the main World Line. Rather stories of old that the Overlord can control and weaponize under their rule.

The True World also doesn’t have a Future. Rather the Future World of Man is the Embodiment of the Overlord power making it a place of pure chaos.

Since the Future is not predetermined, or set in stone. And the Future World is the Embodiment of the Overlord.

This means that the Overlord can manipulate their domain to their liking as they can just create a future as they are the future themselves.

From that higher World Line.

The Overlord has completed control of the Aspects of Space, Time, Reality, The Laws of Nature, and the System of Existence of the Entire Multiverse. Or rather the Entire Human World as is.

It is the reason why the Overlord is the strongest in the Human World. Because an Overlord has control over the Domain to a powerful extent.

This was everything Adam learned about the Human World.

And Truly the Overlord of this AU was even more stronger than Father Chaos in the OG HDXD.

As the Overlord of Humanity here was basically the closest thing to God Almighty in the Human World.

But besides the point.

Adam is now in a training hell.

Day after day, after day Minerva breaks his bones.

His hand is broken.

CRACK!

His legs are Broken.

CRACK!

His Spine is broken.

CRACK!

Broken, broken, broken, broken, again, and again, and again, and again.

This hell just doesn’t seem to end.

Adam couldn’t move to even save his life.

Not because he lacked strength, he knew if he unleashed his horns, he could tear free of this in seconds.

But that wasn’t an option here today.

For the next three years, he was forbidden from using any magic by Minerva.

That was the one rule non-negotiable rule that was forced upon him.

And right now, it felt more like a death sentence. Than actual training itself.

He was pinned, crushed against the ground by a force that didn’t belong to any sane world.

They were in a universe where gravity ruled like a tyrant, and was all over the place, but at some extreme levels.

The ground beneath him was as hard as diamonds, their was not atmosphere here so he couldn’t breathe.

For that reason he had depend on his Monster energy for self sustaining himself in order to survive.

Ten thousand times that of Earth’s gravity.

Every twitch of his finger felt like trying to lift a mountain.

And yet, this was just the beginning.

On the other hand being freak of nature she was Minerva walk normally around Adam as if this place wasn’t affecting her at all.

And as Adam struggled, she help in his suffering breaking his bones, even further.

"I know, I know it hurts like a mother fucker."

"But I need that body of yours to toughen the hell up. You’re still a little too soft brat."

She scoffed, circling him like a drill sergeant with a grudge.

"Still... I gotta admit your Shinso ability, Resolve of the Unbroken or whatever the hell it’s called, it is pulling it’s weight nicely, we are speed running your training because of it."

"First month? We hit you with a thousand Gs. You cried, puked, then survived it in three damn days. Second month? Five thousand. And now we’re in month three doing ten-fucking-thousand hahaha!"

Minerva leaned down close, her voice low.

"Won’t be long now before you’re tearing up mountains with your bare goddamn hands."

Adam struggled to respond, even screaming was a task.

But that aside, Minerva have him one more looked before going.

"Either way boy, Imma take a drink now, see you in like 12 days."

With that she left off into the distance.

Meanwhile Adam struggled more, and more.

Tears shooting down his squash face like a bullet. But as he suffer, his body quickly learns.

— 2 Weeks Later —

As Minerva jump from pillar to pillar, she held her hand head as she said.

"Whew, twelve days straight hittin the bottle’ll mess you up somethin fierce. Ain’t had a headache like this in ages. That damn mystic wine from Kula? Hits like a damn mule, I swear."

"Anyway, I must’ve been knocked out for an extra two days or somethin. Adam’s been holed up in the same damn spot goin on two weeks now."

Minerva said as she jump over some more rocky terrains.

And eventually she reach the place she needed to be and that was when she saw.

Before her a giant crate laid bare, in it was puddle of blood shaking like crazy, as it dig it’s way into the ground due to the gravity.

But Adam was not there, looking around, she tried to spot where here little brother was.

But her little brother was nowhere to be found.

Until Minerva suddenly sense something behind here.

As such she jumped out of the way, as series of jagged bone pillars shoot of the ground.

Each the size of large skyscraper.

The dense bones where highly compress, and multilayered to the point it was rougher than diamond’s.

On the other hand.

A monsterous voice echoed just behind Minerva.

Anger was evident and clear.

"I...I can’t believe you would leave me here for two extra days, I honestly thought I was going to die."
