Goodbye, Ex-husband! I’m Pregnant with Your Uncle’s Child!
Chapter 100: It’s So Good to Meet You

Chapter 100: Chapter 100: It’s So Good to Meet You

Thomas Sullivan had a hospital visit to the urology department today.

The boss wasn’t in, so Julia Land clocked out on time today.

On her drive back to the Sincere Heart Community, she received a call from Austin Langston.

She could hear noisy sounds coming from the other end.

Then she heard Austin Langston’s voice, "Miss Land, I’m in Morning Sun Bar, in VIP room number one, someone’s got me tied up..."

Austin Langston’s voice was very panicked.

There were banging noises from the bathroom door; someone was calling him out to sing.

"I’ll be there in a bit."

Julia Land frowned. What was going on? Orange Inc. would never let their artists be involved in drinking with clients.

But that was something to find out later.

Austin Langston hung up anxiously.

Julia Land immediately called her bodyguard, while she turned the steering wheel to head to Morning Sun Bar first.

She left a message for Sophia Hart: [Sophia, I’ve got something to deal with at Morning Sun Bar and I might not be able to hang out with you tonight.]

As evening fell, Morning Sun Bar was a flurry of neon lights and flowing liquor.

Men and women mingled within, indulging in their pleasures.

Julia Land, dressed in a red gown, walked in and was immediately sized up by onlookers.

She directly asked a waiter for the location of VIP room number one.

Julia Land arrived at the door of VIP room number one, guarded by two muscular men.

They glanced at her.

Julia Land had thought she would be stopped by them, but she wasn’t.

She pushed the door open and went in.

The VIP room was equipped with various entertainment facilities, and the atmosphere among the men and women was lively.

She recognized some familiar faces from upper-class circles.

Julia Land went straight to look for Austin Langston.

And the people in the room also noticed Julia Land as she entered.

Julia Land saw Austin Langston.

Austin Langston was being pressed down on a sofa by a man.

That instantly reminded Julia Land of that scum, Wesley Turner.

"You spend a night with me, and I’ll give you better resources. How good is that? Stop pretending," the man reeked of alcohol as he spoke, "such a prude."

Austin Langston was biting her lip and struggling angrily; her strength was no match for the drunken man.

Julia Land walked over with a cold expression. She casually picked up a wine bottle from the table.

With a clatter, she smacked the bottle on the table, splitting it in two.

She forcibly pulled the man’s hair back and aimed the sharp, broken edge of the bottle directly at his throat.

"Don’t move."

The people had not been paying much attention to Julia Land before, but at this moment, they froze too.

The man just felt a sharp pain on his scalp and sensed something sharp at his throat.

He then heard a woman’s voice.

"You bitch, you dare to touch me?"

Julia Land scoffed, "Sorry, I prefer to be fragrant."

At this point, Austin Langston also stood up from the sofa, still trembling.

"Miss Land."

The room’s revelry paused.

"Julia Land, you’re no longer Mrs. Quarter, just a divorced woman. How dare you come here and make trouble?" Emily Yeat stood up, frowning, "Let go of my cousin."

Given Julia Land’s status, anyone here could easily mess with her.

Julia Land glanced at Emily Yeat, recognizing this girl.

It was that woman who mocked them for buying the house, yet had the woman pay with her card.

Julia Land ignored Emily Yeat and asked Austin Langston, "Are you okay?"

Austin Langston nodded.

Eliza Quarter came out of the bathroom and saw Julia Land holding the wine bottle, threatening Oliver Yeat.

Julia Land didn’t notice Eliza Quarter.

The two muscular men from the door were called in.

Because Julia Land had a hostage, the two men also didn’t dare to handle Julia Land forcefully.

"Fuck! Today is the birthday of the Sullivan’s second young master, and you dare come here and cause trouble?"

"If you don’t let him go, both the Sullivan Family and the Yeat Family won’t let you off easily."

"Quite bold, aren’t you?"

Julia Land raised an eyebrow. The Sullivan’s second young master? Trevor Sullivan?

What a coincidence.

Austin Langston looked at Julia Land worriedly; calling her had been a desperate measure.

She didn’t expect her to actually come.

Austin Langston wanted to survive in showbiz. If she called the police, who knew what the media might falsely report?

If Julia Land hadn’t come, choosing to call the police instead, she would still have thanked her. But Julia Land had come.

Austin Langston had been afraid and called Julia Land instinctively; now, she regretted dragging Julia Land into this mess.

This girl was also tough as nails. She picked up the bottle on the table and, imitating Julia Land, cracked it into half.

Brandishing the sharp edge of the bottle, she glowered at the two burly men.

Julia Land’s eyes flashed, and her red lips curved into a faint smile.

At that moment, someone pushed the door and walked in.

The man in a white shirt, his deep-set eyes casually swept across the room, he paused when he saw Julia Land.

His gaze examined her.

She wasn’t hurt.

He walked into the private room and sat on the couch.

James Thompson gestured toward Julia Land, "Baby Julia, come sit here."

Julia Land, "..."

"Did Trevor Sullivan invite you out for drinks just to come here?" Julia Land took in the decoration of the private room, the balloons and such, the Sullivan family’s young master had actually chosen a bar’s private room for his birthday celebration.

Emily Yeat looked bewilderedly at the man sitting on the sofa; wasn’t that Julia Land’s suspected male escort boyfriend?

Some people probably knew that James Thompson was from the Thompson Family of Capital City, they cleverly did not participate in what followed.

"Beauty, calm down, just let me go, and I promise I won’t settle scores with you," Oliver Yeat gasped for air, desperately afraid the sharp bottle on his neck might have a mind of its own.

Trevor Sullivan stepped out to make a call, and when he returned to the private room, he saw a very quiet scene.

Upon seeing Trevor Sullivan, Emily Yeat seemed to glimpse a savior and quickly said, "Young Master Sullivan, Julia Land came to smash up your party."

Trevor Sullivan, "?"

Julia Land looked at Trevor Sullivan with a smirk that was not quite a smile.

Trevor Sullivan turned his head toward the sofa, where James Thompson was also smiling at him.

"..."

Trevor Sullivan walked over to Julia Land, "Miss Land, leave him to me, I truly apologize for tonight."

Although he still didn’t know what had happened.

Julia Land let go of Oliver Yeat’s hair.

Trevor Sullivan suddenly lifted his foot and viciously kicked Oliver Yeat.

Oliver Yeat tumbled forward, crashing into a table, his head throbbing with life-questioning pain.

Emily Yeat screamed with her mouth covered, her knees going weak.

In the private room, some people looked back and forth between Trevor Sullivan and Julia Land, puzzled and confused.

James Thompson stood up, walked to Julia Land’s side, and took hold of her wrist.

He took the bottle from her hand and threw it on the ground.

"For fights like this, you should call me."

The man wrapped his arm around her shoulder and, with a step, pressed his foot on the back of Oliver Yeat, who was trying to get up.

"I know I was wrong, don’t kick me anymore..." Oliver Yeat collapsed on the ground, wailing pitifully.

"Little Julia, let’s go home, there’s nothing fun here," James Thompson asked with downcast eyes, seeing Julia Land nodding, he wrapped his arm around her and walked out of the private room.

"Austin Langston has left," Julia Land called out to Austin Langston.

Austin Langston, "Oh, okay."

She set down the bottle in her hand on the table and followed Julia Land and the others out of the private room.

At the entrance of the private room, the bodyguards Julia Land had called for were already waiting outside.

They had just seen James Thompson inside the private room and didn’t enter.

Julia Land and her group left.

But Trevor Sullivan still needed an explanation from James Thompson; he gestured with his fingers, calling someone over to inquire about what exactly had happened.

The two burly men first took Oliver Yeat to the hospital.

The matter was not complicated; Oliver Yeat wanted to seduce the female celebrity named Austin Langston.

These kinds of things were common.

However, daring to pull such a low move on his birthday, he had quite the nerve.

Eliza Quarter wanted to make herself less conspicuous, but Emily Yeat saw her.

Emily Yeat glared at Eliza Quarter, "Did you do this on purpose? If you hadn’t recommended Austin Langston, we wouldn’t have invited her to sing."

Eliza Quarter shook her head, "I really didn’t know, I just heard her singing recently, she’s quite good, that’s why I recommended her."

In fact, she had wanted to avenge Arabella Shaw, not expecting that Austin Langston would also know Julia Land.

Trevor Sullivan overheard their conversation, sized up Eliza Quarter with one look, and coldly said, "From now on, at any event I attend, I do not wish to see Miss Quarter."

This was a roundabout way of forbidding Eliza Quarter from surviving in the social circle.

Eliza Quarter’s expression instantly turned ugly.

The night’s birthday celebration was an event organized by a few people on good terms with Trevor Sullivan.

Usually, Trevor Sullivan didn’t care who they invited; it was all just for a bit of fun, after all.

But it turned out to be a mess for him.

Eliza Quarter bit her lip and fled out of the private room in shame and rage.

She headed for Imperial View Gardens.

Arabella Shaw held a tissue and wiped Eliza Quarter’s tears, her eyes slightly downcast, "Does Julia Land know Austin Langston?"

Eliza Quarter said resentfully, "Yes, she does."

Austin Langston also had the surname Langston, but she had no relation to the Langston Family.

Unexpected, indeed.

Julia Land actually knew Austin Langston.

Arabella Shaw’s lips curved up, her eyes chilling.

Knowing each other, how very nice.
