Chapter 108: Gon and Dina kissing

Caught off guard, Dina let out a sharp gasp as Gon flipped them over once more, sending her back onto the floor with a soft thud. Before she could react, he pinned her wrists above her head, using his heavier weight to keep her firmly beneath him.

A triumphant laugh escaped his lips, his face hovering just above hers.

Gon grinned down at her, his confidence shining through. "See? I’m stronger."

Dina, however, only giggled, a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. "But I’m smarter," she countered smoothly.

Before Gon could react, he felt something shift beneath him.

Too late, he realized Dina had set everything up perfectly. While he was busy gloating, she swiftly twisted her legs between his, locking them in place.

Before he could react, she threw her body weight to the side, using the leverage to push him off balance.

Gon let out a startled grunt as he was first yanked sideways, his grip slipping, and thenbefore he could recover, she shoved him the rest of the way, sending him crashing onto the ground.

He barely had a second to catch his breath before Dina lunged forward.

In a blur of movement, she straddled him, pinning his wrists against the floor with a triumphant glint in her eyes.

"Now," she said breathlessly, smirking down at him, "what was that about being stronger?"

But Gon didn’t reply. He had gone completely still beneath her, his chest rising and falling steadily as he stared up at her.

For a moment, all thoughts of their playful fight faded away.

Dina furrowed her brows, confused by his sudden silence. "What?" she asked, still holding his wrists firmly. "Why aren’t you—"

Then she saw it.

Dina’s gaze shifted from his hands to his face, catching the look in his eyes

The way his gaze had softened, the way his breath seemed to slow as he simply looked at her.

The mischievous glint in his eyes had been replaced by something else, something quieter, something unspoken.

She saw the hunger in his eyes. It was there in the slowing of his breath, the tensing of his fingers against her skin

As she felt the heat of Gon’s body radiating beneath her, Dina’s initial passion-fueled haze dissipated in the cool light of reality. She became acutely aware of their closeness, of the intimacy that had blossomed between them so suddenly, so dangerously.

Her hands, which moments ago had been entwined in Gon’s, tightened involuntarily. She could feel the taut muscles of his biceps straining against her touch, her breath mingling with his

The warmth of his body beneath her sent a strange flutter through her chest.

Then, just as quickly as she had noticed his stare, another realization struck her.

He looked... good like this.

Pinned beneath her, his dark hair slightly tousled from their struggle, his lips parted ever so slightly as he breathed.

His usually bright, teasing eyes had darkened just a little, focused entirely on her.

Dina had always known Gon was attractive, but something about this moment, about seeing him like this, looking up at her with that unreadable expression made her chest tighten in a way she didn’t expect.

Her breath hitched.

For the first time, she felt unsteady, not because of the fight, not because of exhaustion, but because of something entirely different.

Something that sent warmth rushing to her cheeks and made her suddenly hyperaware of how her hands were still pressing against his wrists, how her legs were still wrapped around him.

She swallowed hard, but no words came out. Her throat constricted, her words were stuck behind the tightening knot of apprehension.

Without fully thinking, Her eyes drifted shut, her body leaning forward with deliberate slowness.

It was instinct, a pull she couldn’t ignore, like gravity drawing her closer.

Her heart pounded as her lips brushed against his in a short, tentative kiss.

For a brief moment, everything stilled, the world around them fading into nothing but warmth and the soft press of their mouths.

It was light, barely more than a touch, yet it sent a rush through her veins that left her breathless.

Then, Dina’s body jerked back as if she’d been burned, her eyes widening in panic as the full weight of what she’d just done came crashing down on her. Her cheeks flushed crimson as she searched Gon’s face for a reaction, her breath hitching in her chest.

Dina barely gave herself time to think before she moved again. This time, she didn’t hesitate.

She bent low once more, her hands tightening around his wrists as she pressed her lips firmly against his.

The kiss was deeper, more certain, carrying all the unspoken tension between them.

Gon stiffened for only a second before he melted into it, his body relaxing beneath her.

He kissed her back just as eagerly, his lips moving in sync with hers.

Though he was pinned down, he didn’t seem to mind, not this time.

The playful fight they had moments ago felt like a distant memory now.

The energy between them had shifted into something entirely different, something neither of them had expected.

Dina could feel his heartbeat beneath her, steady and strong, matching the rapid pace of her own.

She wasn’t sure where this was going or what it even meant, but right now, none of that mattered.

Right now, all that mattered was this, the warmth of his lips, the way he responded to her, and the undeniable pull between them that neither of them could ignore.

Just when Dina thought she had him completely under her control, Gon felt her grip on his wrists loosen ever so slightly.

It was all the opportunity he needed.

In one swift movement, he pushed against her, breaking free from her hold.

Caught off guard, Dina barely had time to react before he flipped their positions yet again, wrestling her onto her back.

A startled gasp escaped her lips as she found herself pinned beneath him this time, her wrists trapped once more.

Gon grinned down at her, breathless, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Gotcha!" he exclaimed, his smirk wide and triumphant.
