’Damn it...’ Tyr thought to himself, ’Even with double strength, he will probably be able to match me now. To think... he had something like this under his sleeve.’

Tyr prepared himself for a true battle of life and death, gripping his fists tightly.

His golden palms followed the same motion, slamming shut behind him.

There was no standstill after this. With a loud blast, Crimson exploded forward with his fist clenched--surrounded by raw phoenix fire Aura.

Tyr’s golden palms flew in front of him to block the attack, but Crimson was too fast--leaping over the hands.

His fist hurled down at Tyr’s face. At that moment, Tyr’s eyelids expanded, his mind racing:

’With Full Golden Body I am immune to all types of flame, including his. But still, his fist is behind that flame. Even if the flame does no damage upon touching me, his fist certainly will.’

Tyr’s eyebrows furrowed as the fist got even closer, blocking most of his vision now.

’The only way to avoid damage is by not getting touched by even the flame at all. Reverse.’

As soon as the pink fire touched Tyr’s skin, it was absorbed inside at an instant pace--like a black hole.

Then, within a single millisecond, it was released with force--clashing against Crimson’s fist.

Tyr’s pink fire halted Crimson’s fist, as the two bodies had a clash for multiple seconds.

’Thankfully, I have my Full Golden Body to save me. Or else, this flame that I am using, even though I have already reversed it, is still being propelled back and thrown toward him from the force of clashing Crimson’s fist.’

The pink flame insisted, materializing into a small phoenix shape as it pushed through Crimson’s hand and made the young monster stumble backwards.

Tyr’s eyelids expanded in surprise as he saw this, ’What? I absorbed not just flame... but even the will of his Ancestral Ability to a small degree?’ He did not know he had the ability to do that.

Crimson didn’t falter, rushing back in and landing a flush hit on Tyr’s stomach with immense speed.

"Ough!" Tyr exclaimed as he was thrown backwards into the air.

’Tsk... I can’t forget that he is still double my level. He is far more powerful than me. I can’t win this with sheer power anymore, it seems.’

He landed on one knee, sliding back across the arena with one hand on the ground.

Tyr rushed forward, matching Crimson’s steps. Crimson was far faster, however, leaping into the air before releasing several thunderbolts of phoenix fire.

’Reverse!’

The bolts of pink fire were released from Tyr at erratic patterns, flying toward the crowd in the stands.

Those close to the attacks felt their hearts sink into their stomach, screaming with fear.

Before the projectiles landed, however, Huevas appeared before every single one of them in descending order of distance, turning them all to small fizzles of Aura with a single touch before returning to his seat.

Crimson did not stop there, curling his arms and feet in like a newborn baby before throwing it all out in a gigantic explosion of flame.

’The phoenix’s signature move... its explosion upon dying, one that uses its life energy and destroys everything around it.’ Huevas mused, standing up from his seat again to protect the ground.

As he seemingly teleported around, he continued to think: ’However, the phoenix only rises again, even stronger, on doing this.’

He made sure to protect everyone in the crowd. Those within the barrier of the arena, however, were left to fend for themselves of course.

Tyr continued to use Reverse, absorbing all the Aura.

Just as he was about to use it, however, a loud, piercing alarm blared in the center of his brain.

[WARNING!]

[If you use this attack, you will be killed.]

’Well... what the hell!? Why wasn’t he killed then!?’

[He was. But he will be reborn again.]

Tyr furrowed his brows, allowing the Aura inside of him to disperse into the air.

’So he’s even stronger now huh... I have to end this right now, before he gets even stronger.’ He stared at Crimson who was still floating in the air, glowing with a godly pink Aura.

’This guy... he truly is a monster. I definitely underestimated him. In a battle... it seems he does not ever accept defeat. He may even be able to beat the likes of Huevas and more, if he gets lucky. He can’t even die, it seems. Due to his ancestors... maybe the nature of his Ancestral Ability. I don’t know. But as the fight prolongs he only gets more and more powerful. He fights for something other than just to win. He isn’t like other people I’ve fought, who only have shallow goals. He is fighting for his dream... Soul Mend, Dragon.’

Tyr grew scales on parts of his body, fangs, claws, and a pair of large wings.

’Oh?’ He turned, looking at the wings, ’They have grown...’ He didn’t know what this meant fully, but at the very least, it meant he could fly faster.

He flapped his wings, boosting into the air. Facing Crimson, he sucked in lungfuls of air until his chest became hot-red and transparent with burning flame.

"Tsk." Huevas exclaimed, "Please don’t use that carelessly... even I can’t..." He paused, concentrating on Tyr’s next moves.

Arin glanced at Huevas, and then his fist, which was clenched tightly from angst.

She smirked, turning her head, ’A dragon truly is the most superior being.’ She thought to herself.

Reana was watching with eyes glowing golden. The money she would make from this fight... it felt like it was already piling up to become the 11th peak of this faction.

But more than that, she was enthralled by the battle. Having researched everything about these two, more than anyone else, before this battle began, she knew the true motives of these two.

’It is a battle for who deserves to be king. Who shows the nature of a conqueror.’

Crimson slapped his hands together powerfully in front of him, sending a gust of wind toward Tyr and the audience behind.

It brushed against the audience with force, flapping their cheeks back as if they were on a roller coaster and sending their hair flying.

It even attempted to throw Tyr back, but his wings flapped powerfully and kept him as sturdy as a rock.

With his hands now clasped in front of him, Crimson opened the middle of his palms slightly as a condensed, rich pink flame began to burn inside.

It spun more and more rapidly, condensing with heaps more Aura that was pouring from Crimson’s unlimited bodily flame.

Tyr’s flame was contained, but Crimson’s was radiating waves of Aura throughout the entire stadium.

People felt their hearts throb in a lethal yet warm presence, as if they suddenly felt themselves waking up next to a sleeping bear inside of its own cave.

Monstrous. The power felt monstrous.

"We are coming to the end..." Reana couldn’t help but speak, completely enveloped in awe, "Soon, we will know who deserves to be the rightful king."

Everyone heard her words, having this thought in the back of their heads as well.

"Who deserves to be king?"

"Is that what this battle is about?"

"I guess it makes sense."

"Yeah, I mean, aren’t they both the strongest in the Immortal Peak?"

"They want to prove each other, huh?"

"Well then, this has gotten even more exciting."

...

With anticipation reaching its peak, people shaking with eagerness and sitting at the very edge of their seats, the two fighters unleashed their flames.

Crimson’s darkly condensed pink flame surged forward. It was almost as large as a car in size--about 5 feet in height and width.

It traveled at extreme speeds, traveling halfway to Tyr, and even further.

For a moment, the crowd’s expression changed.

’Is he even going to release his fire in time!?’ were the thoughts of the people.

The pink flame came merely 5 feet away from Tyr as he blew out the fire inside of his lungs.

Huevas narrowed his eyes, ’People are probably going to think the clash of the fires will be fun to watch and drawn out. But a phoenix’s fire... is like a candle flame compared to the volcano that is a dragon’s flame.’

Tyr’s blast of fire arrived like a shark with its maw wide open, consuming Crimson’s fire with ease.

It was 25 feet in width and height, making Crimson’s large beam of fire seem like nothing.

There was no clash whatsoever. Tyr’s fire burned straight through Crimson’s flame, as if it was easily flammable tissue.

Right before Tyr’s flame reached Crimson, his wings thrust upwards and made Tyr sweep down to the ground.

Tyr maintained his aim on Crimson, blasting into him and straight through. However, since he went down, the fire flew into the air, instead of hitting the crowd.

The blast surged until it tore through the clouds further above.
