After listening, Fang Yi was dumbfounded, firstly because he marveled at Shen Binnan’s courage, and secondly by the thought that this woman’s luck was insanely good!

"No matter how expensive this park is, we must acquire it!" Fang Yi declared.

"I agree," Shen Binnan said.

"Damn, a gold mine, if we could mine this, we’d be filthy rich!" Fang Yi exclaimed in awe.

However, Shen Binnan frowned suddenly, having thought of something, he said, "But this place is Xuan Cang. If someone discovers a gold mine, they must report it to the officials. Otherwise, if it’s found out, you could be sentenced."

Fang Yi, who was initially excited, was immediately doused with cold water. He hung his head and after a long while, Fang Yi sighed, "Shen Binnan, would you die if you didn’t bring me down? I have a heart condition, you know."

A gold mine, almost within reach, but then Shen Binnan threw out that comment, and Fang Yi plummeted from heaven to hell.

Shen Binnan gave a bitter smile and said, "What’s meant to be will be, and what’s not, let it go."
