Luo Lin hadn’t expected to bump into Fang Yi here. After a moment’s thought, her face lit up with sudden understanding, and she sneered, "I was just worrying about how to find you, and here you are, delivering yourself to my doorstep."

Fang Yi feigned fear, "Miss Luo, please be gentle with me. Don’t think about forcing yourself on me, I’ll resist, you know."

What was he talking about? Luo Lin was instantly infuriated and scolded angrily, "You bastard!"

Fang Yi clapped his hands and continued, "I have not just one ’egg,’ but two. Miss Luo, would you like to discuss this further?" he said, with a creepily lecherous smile on his face, glancing over Luo Lin’s body suggestively.

This woman seemed like a real piece of work just from her looks, the kind that begged for a few slaps in the face.

As Fang Yi spewed his offensive words, he managed to thoroughly irritate the Luo Family members present, especially Luo Mingguang, whose face trembled with anger.

Finally, Luo Mingguang slammed his hand on the sofa and stood up abruptly, "Let’s go!"

Luo Mingguang was well aware of his purpose for coming here, not to squabble, but to put pressure on Shen Binnan. Now that their objective was achieved, there was no need to compete with a minor character like Fang Yi.

But Luo Lin couldn’t let it go. As she walked towards the exit, she turned at the doorway and gave Fang Yi the middle finger, full of provocative intent.

After closing the door, Fang Yi went over to Shen Binnan and asked what had happened. Binnan didn’t hide the truth and shared the purpose of Luo Mingguang and his entourage’s visit, prompting Fang Yi to sneer continuously.

"To come up with this plan must’ve been difficult for them," Fang Yi mocked.

A thought struck Binnan, "Are you saying the plan wasn’t his idea? It was that middle-aged man with him, wasn’t it?"

Fang Yi nodded, "Yes, one was to test your bottom line, and the other was to force me to make a move. It seems that the man alongside Luo Mingguang is intent on dealing with me first, then you."

Binnan’s brow furrowed slightly, "Knowing it’s a trap, why jump in?"

Fang Yi chuckled, "I said, if anyone from the Luo Family wants to marry you, I will make them all disappear. I must stand by my word. Even if I jump into a pit, it may not necessarily be deep."

That afternoon, Fang Yi gave Liu Lang an order to track Luo Gao.

As Fang Yi had expected, Luo Gao was well-protected, surrounded by at least seven or eight bodyguards, including a highly skilled one, clearly waiting to ensnare Fang Yi.

Fang Yi didn’t take immediate action; instead, he instructed Liu Lang to keep an eye on Luo Lin and found that she wasn’t accompanied by a single bodyguard—a prime opportunity.

Fang Yi smiled. There was light even when the east was dark.

That evening, Fang Yi informed Shen Binnan and left the hotel to head over to Luo Lin’s lodgings.

Luo Lin also lived in a villa, and a secluded one at that. Although the Luo Family had fallen on hard times, they were still a clan, and the residences of the younger members certainly weren’t shabby.

As for infiltrating villas, Fang Yi had plenty of experience—it posed no difficulty at all.

He headed straight for Luo Lin’s bedroom and silently slipped in like a cat. But as soon as Fang Yi arrived, the lights in the bedroom suddenly snapped on.

Four or five figures in black swarmed out, followed by a woman who stood superior to the rest—it was Luo Lin.

Luo Lin stood there with her arms folded across her chest, a hint of mocking triumph on her lips, "I knew you’d come. Good thing I was prepared. How does it feel to be caught like a turtle in a jar?"

Fang Yi smiled slightly, "It’s a bit uncomfortable." He hadn’t expected Luo Lin to be quite clever, to dig a hole for him to fall in. This had been one of the rare times Fang Yi had been outsmarted.

Luo Lin mistook Fang Yi’s grim smile for fear and said, "Once I’ve got you, let me think about how to deal with you."

Fang Yi was taken aback, "Miss Luo, you actually have that sort of taste?"

Luo Lin coldly stated, "Just wait, you’ll get what’s coming to you! Attack!"

At her command, several black-clad figures charged at Fang Yi. These were skilled fighters hired from a bodyguard service, and she believed they could take Fang Yi down.

But Fang Yi just shook his head and sighed lightly.

As the black-clad bodyguards approached, Fang Yi swung a mystifying punch, striking one in the face and sending him flying backward. Then the other bodyguards tumbled around the room, crashing into cabinets and dressing tables, leaving the bedroom in disarray.

The cold smirk on Luo Lin’s face finally froze at that moment. Snapping back to reality, without a second thought, she turned and fled.

But Fang Yi was not about to let her escape; he had yet to meet his match in speed.

Luo Lin was swiftly caught by Fang Yi, who held her aloft like a little chick and tossed her onto the bed. He then proceeded to tear off a strip of fabric, tying her hands and feet. There was a belt beside the bed, and without a word, he stuffed it into Luo Lin’s mouth. She instantly reacted with horror, her face losing all color.

Fang Yi gave a cold laugh, before knocking out the four or five black-clad bodyguards and stuffing them into the wardrobe, locking it. In no time, the room was left in utter silence amid the chaos.

Fang Yi glanced around and spotted a whip on the bedside table. He picked it up and stood in front of Luo Lin, whose already pale face turned as white as paper at the sight of him holding the whip.

Fang Yi reached out and removed the gag from Luo Lin’s mouth, and she immediately yelled, "You bastard, I..."

Smack!

Before Luo Lin could finish her sentence, Fang Yi lashed her thigh with the whip, leaving her shocked and then in intense pain.

"You like it, don’t you? Tonight, I’ve got all the time in the world to play with you," Fang Yi said with a vicious grin, his voice icy cold.
