Chapter 1529: The big one is coming
They waited for about two hours.
Just as everyone was beginning to grow impatient, Ashley’s figure finally stepped through the Space Cracks and returned to the hub.
"You’re finally back!" Seeing Ashley return unharmed, Speaker Lemo’s furrowed brow relaxed. He quickly asked, "Did you discover anything?"
Ashley did not answer immediately.
She first reached out her hand and erased the Space Cracks behind her.
As she extended her hand, a faint purple glow swiftly enveloped the entire Space Cracks, and the originally pitch-black fracture melted away like snow in light, crumbling into the purple glow and vanishing rapidly.
Now that she was back at the hub, the Space Cracks served no purpose and had to be dealt with.
Then Ashley scanned her surroundings briefly before connecting her spiritual power to the Stellar Level private chat network.
"I’ve discovered a significant problem." She spoke very seriously within the private chat network: "I’ll send you all a Memory Bubble, and you’ll understand after watching it."
As she said this, Ashley uploaded a small Memory Bubble into the network. The contents of the bubble showed exactly what she had just seen and heard.
Hearing Ashley’s solemn tone, everyone’s hearts sank, and they immediately began probing the contents of the Memory Bubble.
The contents of the bubble were not extensive, taking only about one to two minutes to finish. All the Stellar Levels had reviewed the Memory Bubble in its entirety.
After watching the Memory Bubble, none of them showed any expression changes outwardly, but inwardly, waves of shock surged through their minds.
Something big was coming!
...
The matter had to be traced back to the clash between Ashley and Lailin earlier.
Ashley hadn’t stopped Lailin from leaving; instead, she had torn off his wings.
On one hand, Ashley knew she couldn’t prevent Lailin’s escape; on the other hand, this method made it easier to trace Lailin’s whereabouts.
After ripping off Lailin’s wings, Ashley applied a "Future Mark" to the wound at the root of the wings.
The "Future Mark" was Ashley’s unique technique, capable of bypassing certain time paradoxes. By acting now, she could mark Lailin years into the future.
Because this mark would only take effect years later, the current Lailin wouldn’t know he’d been marked. He wouldn’t sense it, and it would be impossible for him to undo it.
At present, Lailin had no idea he’d been marked, nor did he have any clue that years from now, the mark would manifest.
But Ashley could bypass certain time paradoxes and track the mark’s location immediately!
Thus, her "Future Mark" could be considered the top-tier tracking spell, impossible to evade, unmatched throughout the Milky Way!
Leaning on the "Future Mark," she left the team alone, departing from the Tenth Star System to other regions to track Lailin.
Guided by coordinates, Ashley arrived in the Seventh Star System roughly two hours later, using Saint Channel Company’s teleportation services.
As soon as she arrived, she was immediately able to sense the whereabouts of the rebellion organization! The proximity was shockingly close!
Her landing point was a hub in the Seventh Star System, namely the "Lunt VI" planet.
On another planet within the same stellar system, she perceived a massive gathering of rebellion fleets!
"I sensed at least four Stellar Level presences, not including Lailin." Ashley stated solemnly in the private chat network.
"Four or more?" Speaker Lemo’s brow furrowed again. "It seems the rebellion organization is preparing to attack Fegg Hub, just like they did with neighboring Lunya."
"That’s not all..." Ashley said gravely. "Among them, I also sensed traces of silicon-based life forms!"
