Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All -
Chapter 610
Chapter 610: Chapter 610
Li Jinhai’s face darkened, his fists clenching at his sides.
"You’re going to regret this, Miss Yu," he spat, his voice trembling with poorly contained rage. "Mark my words."
Yu Holea tilted her head slightly, her smirk unwavering.
"Regret? I don’t regret standing my ground, Mr. Li. I only regret wasting time on people who think intimidation is a substitute for respect."
Before Li Jinhai could retort, Yu Holea turned on her heel and walked away.
Behind her, Li Jinhai stood frozen, his anger and embarrassment mingling in a dangerous brew.
From the corner of his eyes, he winked at a paparazzi.
With viciousness in his eyes, he looked in Yu Holea’s direction and muttered,
"Let’s see whether you can still act so high and mighty once you are surrounded by scandals."
Yu Holea who had good hearing power rolled her eyes and used her mystic energy to mess with the paparazzi.
The paparazzi stumbled back in surprise as the camera hit the ground with a loud thud, its memory chips visibly cracked and useless.
He scrambled to pick it up, his face paling as he realized the damage.
Li Jinhai’s smug expression faltered for a moment.
"What the f*ck!"
"What just happened?" the paparazzi whispered, his voice trembling.
Li Jinhai glared at him, his frustration bubbling to the surface. "Useless," he hissed before turning and storming off.
His mind churned with thoughts of revenge. Yu Holea had underestimated him, and he wasn’t about to let this humiliation slide.
Yu Holea smirked to herself as she left the area.
Did Li Jinhai really think he could play dirty games and not get caught? She shook her head, amused by his naivety.
Her phone buzzed again. It was Qiao Jun.
Qiao Jun: "Checked in with Olivia. She’s on board with the plan. Also found something interesting about Miller. We should talk."
Yu Holea quickly replied.
"You can deal with the problem on your own."
For a few seconds, no one replied before Qiao Jun sent an array of crying emojis.
Yu Holea couldn’t help but smirk.
Qiao Jun who was watching her from his car at a certain distance away from him, chuckled.
After she left, he ordered the driver,
"Go find what had happened just 15 minutes ago."
According to the calculation, Yu Holea should have left the private room 10 minutes ago, so why did it take so much time for her to reach the ground floor?
Qiao Jun’s driver nodded and quickly maneuvered the car to a discreet parking spot near the building.
The driver left the car and soon returned with CCTV footage.
He played the footage for Qiao Jun whose eyes turned cold as time passed.
Finally, with gritted teeth he took out his phone and called his assistant, once the call was connected he said in a sharp tone,
"I want information on a guy named Li Jinhai who owns an entertainment company. Within the next 2 hours. Also, I want his black material too."
Qiao Jun’s call ended with a sharp click as he leaned back in his seat, his expression cold and calculating.
His assistant was as efficient as ever.
Within two hours, a comprehensive report on Li Jinhai landed in Qiao Jun’s inbox, revealing a tangled web of deceit and manipulation.
As Qiao Jun skimmed through the report, his expression darkened. The details were damning.
Contrary to Li Jinhai’s self-proclaimed success story, he didn’t own the entertainment company he so often flaunted.
The company was legally owned and operated by his fiancée, Jiang Yue, a sharp and accomplished businesswoman.
What was more alarming, however, was the trail of infidelity Li Jinhai left in his wake.
His connections to various women within the industry were both personal and exploitative.
Among them was Yu Holea’s good sister, Yu Mei, whose career seemed suspiciously tied to Li Jinhai’s influence.
The report also detailed his predatory behavior toward other young actresses under Jiang Yue’s company, coercing them into questionable arrangements with the promise of stardom.
Satisfied, Qiao Jun placed a call to Lin Cheng.
"Expose it all," he ordered. "Send everything to Jiang Yue. Make sure she knows exactly who she’s engaged to."
Lin Cheng hesitated for only a moment before replying,
"Understood. I’ll ensure she receives the information discreetly."
The next evening, Jiang Yue stormed into her private office at the company headquarters, her face pale but set in grim determination.
The detailed dossier she had received left no room for doubt.
Images, videos, transaction records—all meticulously compiled, showing the depths of Li Jinhai’s betrayal.
Li Jinhai sauntered in a few moments later, his usual smirk plastered across his face.
"Yue’er," he began, but the sharp slap across his face cut him off.
Jiang Yue’s hand stung from the impact, but she didn’t flinch. Her eyes blazed with fury as she threw the dossier onto the desk between them.
"Explain this!"
Li Jinhai blinked, stunned.
His confidence faltered as he glanced at the documents and realized the extent of the evidence against him.
"W-Where did you get this?" he stammered.
"Does it matter?" Jiang Yue snapped.
"All this time, I trusted you. I built this company from the ground up, and you used it as your personal playground! How could you?"
Li Jinhai’s mind raced, grasping for a way to salvage the situation.
"Yue’er, you don’t understand. Those actresses meant nothing to me—they were just business moves. I was doing it for the company, for us!"
Jiang Yue’s laugh was bitter and sharp.
"For us? Do you think I’m a fool? This has nothing to do with the company and everything to do with your disgusting ego and lack of morals!"
Li Jinhai took a step forward, trying to reach for Jiang Yue’s hand, but she recoiled as though his touch burned her.
"Don’t," she warned, her voice low and dangerous.
"It’s over, Li Jinhai. The engagement, your involvement in the company, everything. You’re finished."
"Yue’er, please," Li Jinhai pleaded, dropping his usual bravado.
"You can’t do this to me. We’ve been together for years. I made mistakes, yes, but I love you!"
Jiang Yue’s eyes were icy as she retorted,
"Love? Don’t insult me. If you ever cared about me, you wouldn’t have betrayed me so thoroughly. The only thing you love is yourself."
She walked to her desk and pressed a button on the intercom.
"Security, escort Mr. Li out of the building. He is no longer welcome here."
Li Jinhai paled, his protests growing more desperate.
"You can’t do this! Yue’er, think about my reputation!"
Jiang Yue’s lips curled into a cold smile.
"Your reputation? Don’t worry, Jinhai. I’ll make sure everyone knows the truth."
As security guards entered the room, Li Jinhai struggled against their grip, but Jiang Yue didn’t spare him another glance.
True to her word, Jiang Yue released a public statement the following morning, detailing her reasons for ending the engagement.
While she refrained from revealing every sordid detail, she made it clear that Li Jinhai’s actions were irredeemable and that he no longer had any association with her or her company.
The media frenzy that followed was relentless.
Reports of Li Jinhai’s infidelity and exploitation of young actresses flooded the news, his carefully curated image of success crumbling overnight.
Qiao Jun watched the chaos unfold with a satisfied smirk.
"One less pest to worry about," he muttered to himself.
When Yu Holea caught wind of the scandal, she couldn’t help but laugh. "Looks like Li Jinhai finally got what he deserved,"
Just then she received a message from Qiao Jun,
"Are you now happy?"
Hm? Such a strange question...
Yu Holea raised an eyebrow. A thought flashed in her mind.
"You didn’t have anything to do with this, did you?" She messaged.
"Who, me?" Qiao Jun feigned innocence.
But even through the text, Yu Holea could feel his insincerity. A chuckle escaped her lips.
"Wifey, I need some rewards..." Qiao Jun texted and Yu Holea directly ignored it.
To Yu Holea’s luck, the shooting was finally over.
Vivian remained silent during the entire shooting and even Yu Mei didn’t scheme against her.
For a period of time, everything was peaceful in Yu Holea’s life.
After the shooting was over, a wrap party was organized.
Yu Holea was in a particularly good mood. Though Vivian didn’t cause a lot of trouble during the shooting, she would spew some sarcastic comments each day.
Yu Holea was having headaches just by listening to those remarks. Though she retorted, sometimes Yu Holea wondered whether she should just make Vivian permanently mute.
Now, that the filming was over, she could finally relax.
Just as Yu Holea was getting ready for the party, a knock sounded on the door. When Yu Holea opened the door, she saw a cute teddy bear, with a bouquet of roses and a box of chocolate.
A knowing smile appeared on Yu Holea’s face. The next second a male doll walked up to her and said in a soft voice,
"Holea sorry. Wifey don’t be angry anymore."
