Chapter 598: Chapter 598: Director Gong’s Wife
Qiao Jun smiled and left. He was satisfied by the chaos he had caused. Especially thinking of all the things he had done to Yu Holea.
His mood was bright, but his body was on fire. With no other choice, he took a cold shower. But even during the cold shower, he kept thinking about how he would someday ask Yu Holea to solve the problem.
Her helpless expression and big watery eyes would look at her with a lustful gaze and he...
After the cold shower, Qiao Jun felt refreshed. He even thought of taking advantage of Yu Holea every day from today onward.
Unaware of the storm waiting for him, Qiao Jun walked downstairs. When he reached the dining table, he realized the Qiao Family members were looking at Qiao Jun with a sympathetic glance.
Except for Yu Holea who looked shocked and Cai Bao who had a stern expression on her face, everyone was stealing glances.
Qiao Jun lifted the orange juice and asked casually,
"What happened? Why are you all so silent?
"Nothing..." Qiao Li said softly.
She didn’t want to ruin her brother’s mood, especially after knowing the truth.
After breakfast, Yu Holea left. During the entire time, her face was stiff.
Qiao Jun thought it was because of his previous deeds and was satisfied.
Today he was going to meet Vivian and Aunt Mila.
The next few days Yu Holea was busy shooting.
As expected Ai Han reached out to Zhang Meilin, who naturally refused to meet Ai Han.
Yu Holea smiled when the news about her sleeping with Director Gong reached the top. It was spread so much that even people who knew Yu Holea started to contact her and inquire about the situation.
Surprisingly Director Gong remained silent the entire time.
However what surprised Yu Holea even more was, instead of receiving any backlash, all the netizens supported.
Later she knew that it was joint work of the Qiao Family, Sheng Yin, and the Yu Family.
Sheng Yin reposted the news with a caption, ’I never knew my little sister would sleep with a greasy director for resources even though I am a A- Rank actress >_<’
Then there was Yu Shuchang who reposted the news with a caption, ’Never seen any fake news than this.’
As for the water army hired by Yu Mei...well Yu Sicong and Qiao Zixin sent out legal notices to them, which scared all of them.
No one in the upper class dared to talk about the rumor because Mrs. Qiao and Mrs. Yu would join hands and insult the person who dared to spread the rumor.
As for the university in which she was...Qiao Li and Yu Sile joined forces and ensured that no one dared to say anything wrong about her.
Qiao Zifei and Qiao Zirui insulted the remaining netizens.
All in all, no one dared to slander Yu Holea.
Once the shooting of the scene was over Director Ou called Yu Holea to his office and asked,
"When are you going to reveal the truth?"
Even though the news had no negative impact on Yu Holea, if she kept on dragging then soon the netizens would start to see the news as a truth suppressed by a big shot.
"Hm? I will do it today." Yu Holea replied with a smile.
"Good. Such type of rumor should be cleared at the right time." Director Ou advised.
Once Yu Holea left the office, she was surrounded by Mo Jiang, Jung Xiao, and Ni Wulin who had the same question as Director Ou.
After assuring them, Yu Holea checked on Yu Mei.
Yu Mei was busy shooting a commercial.
However, in between the break, she would look at her phone, and a nervous look flash in her eyes.
Yu Mei even called some of her acquaintances and asked them to spread the rumor as much as possible while hiring more water army.
Yu Holea chuckled and decided to upload the video by tonight.
As she packed up, Yu Holea caught sight of a commotion out of the corner of her eye.
A middle-aged woman, dressed in luxurious clothing with oversized sunglasses perched on her nose, stormed toward her, her face twisted in rage.
The woman pointed a finger directly at Yu Holea and shouted, her voice shrill and commanding.
"You’re a disgrace!" she yelled, her eyes blazing as she drew the attention of everyone around them.
"How dare you seduce my husband? A woman half his age—how shameless can you be?"
The crew and cast members who were still present turned their heads to watch, intrigued by the sudden, dramatic outburst.
In a corner, one of the younger staff members discreetly pulled out his phone, live-streaming the confrontation.
Yu Holea arched a brow, her expression unbothered as she let the woman rant, waiting patiently as she processed each accusation hurled her way.
"You think just because you’re young and beautiful, you can have any man you want?" the woman continued, now addressing the growing crowd.
"Just two weeks ago, she came to my anniversary party and tried to seduce my husband. She’s not just a slut but an opportunist, taking advantage of my trust. She’s nothing more than a vile, disrespectful little... tramp!"
The words dripped with venom as the woman looked around, her eyes pleading with those around her to judge Yu Holea just as harshly.
Yu Holea, remaining calm and collected, finally spoke up.
"So... you’re claiming to be Director Gong’s wife?" She crossed her arms, one eyebrow raised skeptically.
"Of course, I am!" the woman retorted, a hint of hesitation flashing across her face before she regained her composure. "And don’t you dare disrespect me further, you... you home-wrecker!"
Yu Holea’s lips curved into a faint, almost mocking smile.
"That’s interesting," she replied smoothly.
"Because I know Director Gong’s real wife, and I’m quite certain she wouldn’t show up to a film set in the middle of a workday to hurl insults like a scene out of a soap opera."
The woman’s face fell, her eyes widening just a fraction before she quickly masked her surprise, bursting into exaggerated sobs.
"This... this is exactly what you’d expect from a mistress!" she shrieked.
"Now you’re flaunting your status and looking down on me, the real wife, as if you have the right!"
Around them, the crowd exchanged uneasy glances, their whispers growing louder.
Yu Holea shook her head slowly.
"Let me clarify something. Are you accusing me of seducing a man who supposedly doesn’t even have enough control to stay faithful at his own anniversary party?
But the problem is I wasn’t the one who slept with him neither did I seduce him. He slept with his assistant. And from what I know, he slept with that woman willingly.
So...it means he is the one that should be blamed the most." She placed a hand on her hip, glancing around as the crowd tittered.
The woman sputtered, clenching her fists.
"H-How dare you insult him! You used your youth to manipulate him, knowing he’s married to someone... well, someone older, but respectable!"
Yu Holea let out a low chuckle.
"Right, I’m sure that’s exactly what happened. After all, your ’respectable’ husband somehow couldn’t resist someone he only met once?
However, you are wrong about one thing. I am not the one who slept with him. Anyways first I should expose."
"What...what do you mean?" The woman was afraid.
"Nothing much I just want to let everyone know that you are not director Gong’s wife. So that they will know that you are hired by someone else and this entire setup is planned by someone." Yu Holea chuckled.
"You... You...shut up!" The woman was truly frightened.
Seeing the woman struggle to come up with a convincing response, Yu Holea turned to the crowd.
"Listen, I understand it’s hard to tell what’s true and what’s not, but how about a simple Google search to settle this? Why don’t we all check and see who Director Gong’s actual wife is?"
She smiled at the woman, her eyes gleaming.
"Unless, of course, she wants to tell us her name and spare everyone the trouble?"
The woman’s face turned pale as murmurs spread through the crowd.
Several people pulled out their phones, tapping furiously as they searched for Director Gong’s marital details.
"No... this is... she’s trying to humiliate me!" the woman wailed, now visibly flustered.
Her gaze darted around the crowd, but Yu Holea remained calm, watching her every move with amusement.
"She’s turning everyone against me just because she has the power to!"
"Oh, power?" Yu Holea shot back, an edge to her tone. "I think it takes a lot more power to come out here, pretending to be someone’s wife and stage an entire scene just to frame another woman."
The woman stumbled over her words, she stammered,
"S-she’s lying! She’s a snake!"
"A snake?" Yu Holea tilted her head, an innocent look on her face.
"And here I thought we were both here to talk about truth, not fairy tales."
Her voice took on a mocking tone as she continued,
"So if I’m the snake, why don’t you prove you’re the real wife of Director Gong? Go on, you said you were his wife, so just show us a little evidence."
