Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All
Chapter 592: Proof

Chapter 592: Chapter 592: Proof

Aunt Mila smiled as she looked at Yu Holea with a smile,

"Now tell me, who will remember the agreement? They have forgotten what had transpired, your last proof is destroyed too. Now no one will believe you."

Yu Holea chuckled,

"Does it matter? I can hire some other hypnotist and make them remember the memory. The best outcome would be if you are the one who will recover it."

There was a threat hidden in her words. She was threatening Aunt Mila, that she would force Aunt Mila to make them remember everything.

Aunt Mila’s eyes narrowed, as a glint flashed in her mind, the next moment she ordered the crowd,

"You will never recover those memories. Neither on my command or anyone else’s command."

Vivian tugged on Aunt Mila’s clothes and said,

"Mom she has a copy of the letter of guarantee, destroy it too!"

Aunt Mila nodded and snapped her fingers at Yu Holea,

"You will now listen to me and hand over the other copy of the letter of guarantee to me."

Yu Holea’s eyes turned dull as she nodded and slowly walked toward Aunt Mila with another piece of paper.

Aunt Mila suddenly stopped her and asked,

"Is there anything that could prove that my daughter lost?"

"The surveillance camera." Yu Holea with her dull eyes, and stiff body, pointed at the surveillance camera at the corner of the shooting location.

Aunt Mila immediately asked Vivian to delete all the footage and destroy the camera.

Vivian extracted the footage of how Yu Holea slapped her, transferred it to her phone, and deleted the original footage.

With a satisfied expression, she told Aunt Mila everything who smiled and extended her hand in Yu Holea’s direction to hand her over the paper.

Yu Holea placed the paper in Aunt Mila’s hand who gave it a quick glance and tore it with a triumphant expression.

"Done. Now let’s see how this b*tch-"

But before Aunt Mila could finish her words, Yu Holea, acting as if she were lifeless and under Aunt Mila’s control, rushed toward Vivian and snatched her phone.

Yu Holea didn’t give Aunt Mila and Vivian any chance to react and directly deleted the video of her slapping Vivian, she even made sure that the cloud backup was deleted.

By the time Aunt Mila and Vivian reacted, it was already too late.

"What the hell!"

As Aunt Mila and Vivian stood stunned, Yu Holea dropped the phone back into Vivian’s trembling hands, her dull gaze lifting into a calm, knowing smile.

The lifeless look in her eyes faded.

Aunt Mila’s shock quickly morphed into fury, her hands clenched tightly.

"You—how dare you?" Her voice was cold, laced with disbelief.

Vivian was near tears, clutching her phone as though it could somehow undo everything. Her voice shook with frustration as she looked to her mother, helpless.

"Mom, she’s impossible! I can’t believe she... she actually did that!"

"Don’t worry we will-" Aunt Mila was about to console Vivian when Yu Holea interrupted her and said,

"What you will do?" Yu Holea as she made herself comfortable on one of the chairs. A knowing smirk was painted on her face as she looked at Aunt Mila.

Aunt Mila gritted her teeth as she pointed at Yu Holea,

"I will call the international special force and sue you for slapping my daughter!"

"Ah? How so? The video footage is deleted!" Yu Holea exclaimed as she was genuinely worried about Aunt Mila.

Aunt Mila pointed at the crowd,

"They will proof for me-"

"How so? You have erased their memory and even commanded them to not remember anything that had happened today." Yu Holea put on an innocent expression.

Vivian’s eyes widened when she realized that they had fallen into Yu Holea’s trap.

Yu Holea forced them to delete the footage, erase the memory, delete the video, and now even her mother couldn’t do anything.

Vivian, still clutching her phone in disbelief, turned to her mother in a panic.

"Mom, what are we supposed to do now? She... she’s completely trapped us!"

Crossing her legs, she leaned back, looking perfectly at ease.

"Oh, Aunt Mila, I didn’t mean to cause you such distress," she said, her tone laced with mock concern.

"After all, I was only following your instructions."

Aunt Mila’s face turned red with frustration. "You little—" She cut herself off, realizing the futility of further threats.

"You won’t get away with this, Yu Holea. You may have erased this evidence, but don’t think for a second that I’ll let this go unpunished."

Yu Holea tilted her head, unbothered by the threats.

"I’m sure you’ll try, Aunt Mila. But the truth is, you were so eager to cover your own tracks that you forgot the first rule of a cover-up: leave yourself a way out."

Vivian, her voice now filled with resentment and a tinge of desperation, spat,

"You think you’re so clever, don’t you? Acting like you’re some kind of mastermind. But let me remind you still have to return my 2 billion yuan to me."

"Ah? Why should I? You lost a bet and you honored it. As simple as that." Yu Holea smiled.

Vivian laughed wildly,

"Where is the proof? No one remembers our bet and the letter of guarantee is torn apart by my mother. How will you prove that the bet even existed?"

Aunt Mila arrogantly crossed her arms and said,

"Vivian no need to ask for the money, we can simply prove her as a scammer and sue her."

Yu Holea leaned forward, her expression still calm yet edged with a growing satisfaction.

"Ah, that’s where you’re wrong, Aunt Mila."

She met their eyes one by one, letting her words settle.

"Did you really think I’d rely on such obvious proof? A letter, a surveillance camera, a crowd that can be hypnotized?"

Vivian’s triumphant smile began to falter. She looked at her mother, uncertainty flickering in her eyes.

"What is she talking about?"

"Vivian," Yu Holea continued, her tone light but deliberate, "there’s something your mother didn’t consider when she ordered me to erase the memories of everyone here."

She paused, her smile turning calculating.

"Not all memories are stored externally. Sometimes, people remember... even when they’re not supposed to."

Aunt Mila’s eyes narrowed, trying to decipher Yu Holea’s angle.

"You’re bluffing," she said coldly. "No one will remember the details of today without my permission."

"Of course they won’t but did you truly think I would rely on them?" Yu Holea smiled and took out a letter of guarantee out of nowhere.

Aunt Mila and Vivian’s eyes widened in surprise as they looked at the letter of guarantee in Yu Holea’s hand.

"How...How is this possible?" Vivian asked with disbelief.

Aunt Mila shook her head,

"Impossible! I...I tore both the copy! How come...how come she still has one."

"That?" Yu Holea waved the letter of guarantee to the fan herself as she calmly told the truth.

"The first one that you destroyed was ordinary paper, while the second one, though looking genuine, was a mere talisman designed to mimic the letter’s appearance. You were so focused on destroying it, you didn’t even realize the real one was still safe and sound with me."

Vivian’s face flushed with fury,

"You tricked us! How... how dare you!"

Yu Holea shrugged with mock innocence.

"It was your desperation to erase every trace that made it easy. You never even questioned if I might have taken precautions."

Aunt Mila gritted her teeth, her anger building with every word.

"And what exactly do you plan to do with it? You’ve no audience left to support you. No one will believe you now."

Yu Holea raised an eyebrow, her expression turning shrewd.

"Oh, I don’t need an audience. This letter is more than enough to take legal action if I choose to."

She continued, her voice calm but filled with resolve.

"And, Aunt Mila, I’ve ensured that this letter is legally recognized. It holds as much weight in court as any other signed document.

There’s even a lawyer waiting for my call to verify its authenticity, just in case."

Vivian clenched her fists, barely containing her rage.

"You think you can waltz out of here and take us to court?"

"Why not?" Yu Holea’s gaze sharpened.

"After all, you made the terms of this bet. You willingly entered it, and you lost fair and square."

Aunt Mila patted Vivian’s hand and said with a forced calm,

"Don’t panic. Bets can be dragged into court."

"They can be Aunt Mila. After all, it’s not 2 yuan, it’s 2 billion yuan." Yu Holea emphasized.

Aunt Mila almost fainted from anger, but after thinking for a while, she decided to take a step back.

She looked at Yu Holea with a forced calmness.

"Very well, Yu Holea. You’ve won today. But remember, people like me don’t forget, and we don’t forgive."

Yu Holea nodded, her smile never fading.

"And people like me don’t back down. They take revenge for everything. Especially when they are wronged."
