Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All -
Chapter 449: Mrs. Yu Is Sick
Chapter 449: Chapter 449: Mrs. Yu Is Sick
Each time the thing that was most common was... Yu Holea’s suffering!
It was quite common that once someone knows about a bad person they would stay away from that person or talk badly about that person.
Worst come worst they might even kick that person out.
In the original novel ’Yu Holea’ did so many things but other than the first time, ’Yu Holea’ was later only kicked when she almost killed Yu Mei.
Which was a bit weird.
Why would the Yu family tolerate Yu Holea’s repeated action of seeking death?
After each incident, the Yu family will hate Yu Holea even more, causing Yu Holea to suffer more.
The more Yu Holea suffered the more prosperous Yu Mei became.
The moment Yu Holea understood the logic, her brows furrowed.
A possibility appeared in her mind. Maybe Yu Mei could stand out as long as someone suffered on her behalf.
Otherwise, why would the moment she was in a coma, Yu Mei woke up from her coma?
Was this the reason why Yu Mei wanted to harm the Yu family and her?
A cold light flashed in Yu Holea’s eyes.
If her guess is correct it is exactly as what she is thinking then Yu Mei doesn’t deserve to live.
Yu Holea felt a bit drained and went downstairs to eat something sweet. However, the scene in the living room stunned her.
Her cool-headed big brother was holding Yu Sile while Yu Shuchang was trying to snatch away the plate in Yu Sile’s hands.
From Yu Sil’s bulging cheeks, Yu Holea realized that Yu Sile might have eaten all the dumplings.
Then she carefully looked at the plate and realized that there was still a piece.
Were they fighting for the dumpling?
But why?
Was there so much scarcity in the Yu family?
For a moment Yu Holea was filled with confusion.
"What is happening?" She asked cautiously. However, her voice made all three brothers freeze.
Suddenly they separated from his each other and smiled,
"Lea? Why are you downstairs? Aren’t you tired? You should rest!" Yu Sicong said earnestly.
Yu Holea would have believed that everything was alright if she hadn’t seen with her own eyes, how they fought for a single dumpling.
She casually asked,
"Do you perhaps lack money?"
The Yu brothers were taken aback by Yu Holea’s strange words.
They heard her say,
"I have money. You don’t need to fight for a single dumpling."
Knowing Yu Holea misunderstood them, Yu Sicong shook his head hastily,
"No! We have money."
"So why are you fighting over a single dumpling?" Yu Holea was hellbent on exposing them.
Yu Sicong was speechless.
Yu Shuchang lowered his head and said in a soft voice,
"We all liked the taste but since only a single one was left, we were fighting over it..."
Yu Holea was amused,
"I have made enough for the entire family. All you needed to do was go to the kitchen and serve yourself."
Yu Shuchang and Yu Sicong’s eyes brightened.
It was true that they liked the taste of the dumplings but this likeness was maximized when they heard that the dumplings were specially made by Yu Holea.
Just a few moments ago they entered the living and saw Yu Sile who was eating the dumpling with a blissful face.
When they casually asked why he was so happy, Yu Sile being the naive guy said that it was made by Yu Holea.
Yu Shuchang and Yu Siocng instantly extended their hand to ask for a piece. Instead of giving them a piece of dumplings, Yu Sile tried to stuff all the dumplings in his mouth.
However at last one of the dumplings was left, Yu Sicong and Yu Shuchang could only fight with Yu Sile, to snatch away the last piece of dumplings.
Yu Holea went to the kitchen to drink some juice and the Yu Brothers followed behind.
Yu Holea remembered about the case and said,
"I will away from the city for the next 3 days."
Yu Sicong frowned as he asked,
"Are you planning to go on some trip?"
"No. I have received a case and I am going there to solve it." Yu Holea told them the truth.
Yu Holea looked around and found that Mrs. Yu was missing, so she asked casually,
"Where is..."
However, she paused midway through her sentence.
Till now she never addressed Mrs. Yu as her mom, but she didn’t continue to call her Mrs. Yu either.
As if understanding Yu Holea’s dilemma, Yu Shuchang replied gently,
"She is in her room, resting."
Yu Holea nodded.
She also saw the ghost girl who was dancing but she didn’t greet her.
After drinking a glass of orange juice, Yu Holea returned to her room and took a nap.
When it was dinner time, Yu Holea was informed by a maid that the dinner was ready.
Yu Holea sat down at the dinner table. On her arrival the Yu brothers greeted her and they chatted a bit.
However even after the dinner was served, Yu Holea didn’t see Mrs. Yu at all.
A bit worried, she subconsciously shifted her gaze to Yu Shuchang.
"She is sick and isn’t allowing any of us to enter her room." Yu Shuchang was delighted when he felt Yu Holea’s gaze and told her the truth.
Yu Holea nodded but in her heart, she became even more worried.
Finally, after dinner, Yu Holea asked one of the maids whether Mrs. Yu had the dinner.
To which the maid shook her head.
Yu Holea asked the maid to lead her to Mrs. Yu’s room and also asked her to deliver dinner to Mrs. Yu’s room after heating it.
Once outside Mrs. Yu’s room, Yu Holea knocked on the door, and Mrs. Yu’s voice sounded,
"Didn’t I say not to disturb me?"
There was irritation and a bit of weakness present in her voice.
Yu Holea hesitated before saying,
"It’s me."
There was silence for some time before Mrs. Yu sweetened her tone as she continued,
"Holea? Dear, I am not well, let’s talk someday later."
Yu Holea suppressed the slight anxiety in her heart.
"I...I want to meet you..now."
Mrs. Yu sighed and finally in a defeated tone said,
"Come in, dear."
Yu Holea opened the door and stepped inside.
The room was dimly lit, and Mrs. Yu was lying in bed, looking pale and tired.
Her expression softened when she saw Yu Holea.
"Lea, it’s good to see you. I’m sorry if I’ve worried you," Mrs. Yu said gently.
Yu Holea didn’t answer her and went to sit beside her. She took her pulse and assessed Mrs. Yu’s appearance.
Finally, she asked softly,
"Are you having your periods?"
Mrs. Yu’s eyes widened slightly at the direct question but she nodded weakly.
"Yes."
"Is it very painful?" Yu Holea asked with a frown. She suffered from unbearable pain every month and knew how hard it was to endure it.
Now she knew why her periods were so painful.
"It’s always like this." Mrs. Yu sounded a bit nonchalant.
It wasn’t like she never suffered it before.
She did. But does it matter?
Medicine doesn’t work and even doctors couldn’t cure it. So Mrs. Yu could only endure the pain.
Yu Holea furrowed her brows, thinking.
"I see. Have you taken any medication for the pain?"
"It doesn’t work." Mrs. Yu said with a resigned sigh. "I’ve tried everything, but nothing seems to help."
Yu Holea felt sympathy for Mrs. Yu and asked her to lie down.
"Don’t move till I return." Yu Holea said as she left.
Mrs. Yu was amused. Even if she wants to move she won’t be able to...
Soon Yu Holea returned with a kit and started to prepare needles. She first sterilized it, then made a paste and dipped the needles in the paste.
She removed the excessive amount and coaxed Mrs. Yu,
"It will hurt a little but bear it."
Mrs. Yu was instantly frightened when she saw the needles and asked,
"Holea what are you doing?"
Her pale face turned even paler and she looked as if she had seen a ghost.
Yu Holea tried to calm her down and said,
"It is just needles, once inserted in the acupoints, your pain will be lessened."
Mrs. Yu smiled stiffly and asked,
"Lea you are joking, right?"
Her daughter was only 16 years old! How could she play with needles like this?
Not to mention the mere thought of how she might insert those needles in her(Mrs. Yu’s) body, Mrs. Yu shivered.
Yu Holea sensed Mrs. Yu’s fear and consoled her,
"I am not joking. Just lie down and don’t move."
Mrs. Yu almost wanted to cry without tears.
It wasn’t like she wanted to look down on Yu Holea, but she was only 16 years old and hadn’t even completed her studies.
How could she trust Yu Holea?
But that wasn’t the thing that was making Mrs. Yu worried. It was okay if she(Mrs. Yu) was harmed.
