Qiao Jun understood that Yu Holea would not hug him anymore and he decided for now.

"I will leave." Qiao Jun exited the room while glaring at Qiao Li.

Qiao Li heaved a sigh of relief and entered the room with a few dresses in her hand.

"Lea~ See what I have brought!"

As Qiao Li displayed the dresses, Yu Holea couldn’t help but smile, grateful for the distraction from her troubling thoughts.

She admired each dress, offering compliments and opinions as Qiao Li presented them.

"Wow, these are beautiful!" Yu Holea exclaimed, her mood lifting slightly as she examined the array of garments.

Qiao Li grinned,

"I know. Now tell me which one do you want?"

"Oh! Did I forget to tell you? Today the main banquet is going to happen. We only have 2 hours left to prepare so tell me which one do you like." Qiao Li said while sticking out her tongue.

Yu Holea looked at the dresses and suddenly remembered the dress given by Yu Sicong.

That dress would definitely suit her...

"No, it’s alright I already have a dress." Yu Holea said waving her hands.

Qiao Li didn’t push her and left the room after informing her that the makeup artist would be coming soon.

"But!" Before Kris and Qiao Zirui could argue, Mrs. Qiao dragged them and before leaving she didn’t forget to say to Qiao Zixin,

"Drive safely!"

"Yes!" Qiao Zixin nodded.

Suddenly Yu Holea said,

"Oh! I left my purse in the room."

Saying so she left.

Qiao Zixin and Qiao Li too felt that they had forgotten something and they turned and left for their room.

Qiao Jun smirked and walked into Yu Holea’s room’s direction.

When Yu Holea entered the room, she frowned. Wait!

She has her purse, so why did she say that?

"You were controlling us?"

Yu Holea placed her hand on Qiao Jun’s chest and she could clearly hear the slight thumping of his heart.

Her mind which was filled with unease, suddenly calmed down.

The strong powerful beat under her hand was making her believe that nothing was wrong and the dream that she saw was just a nightmare!

Now that she thinks the dream was indeed very...weird.

Even though Yu Holea thought so her mind still had suspicion.

"When will you turn 17?"
