But before she could confront him, Pan Zhijin’s expression darkened, his eyes narrowing into slits as he fixed his gaze on Pan Rou.

"You think you can escape from me, Rou Rou?" he sneered, his voice laced with venom. "You may have run away once, but you can’t hide forever. You belong to me, and I will not rest until I have you back where you belong."

Pan Rou’s blood ran cold at his words, a surge of fear coursing through her veins. She knew what he was capable of, knew the depths of his cruelty. And she would be damned if she let him take her down that dark path again.

With a steely resolve, Pan Rou squared her shoulders and met her uncle’s gaze head-on.

"I will never belong to you," she declared, her voice ringing with defiance. "I am my own person, and I will not let you control me any longer."

Pan Zhijin’s eyes narrowed, his smile fading into a scowl as he took a menacing step toward Pan Rou.

"You will regret those words, little Rou Rou," he growled, his voice low and dangerous. "Mark my words, you will regret them."

Suddenly he crossed the distance between them and arrived behind Pan Rou.

A hand wrapped around Pan Rou’s neck, and Pan Zhijin chuckled,

"Let’s go."

Yu Holea felt her breath tightening.

Her entire body started to ache.

At first, she dismissed it thinking that it was because of the period, however with the growing pain, Yu Holea couldn’t help but open her eyes.

Suddenly she felt as if her internal organs were cracking.

Yu Holea was hardly able to move but for Qiao Jun who was a sensitive sleeper, he hurriedly woke up, and when he saw Yu Holea’s condition he was instantly worried.

"Holea? Holea? What happened?"

Yu Holea with difficulty said,

Qiao Jun checked Yu Holea’s condition and instantly asked,

"You are suffering a backlash."

She hurriedly stood up as she said,

"Oh no! The formation that I made around Pan Mansion might be broken!"

There were various questions in her mind.

Such as who broke it? And how can the ghost with whom she could deal easily break the formation?

"Holea listen to me your condition is not stable now, don’t go, I will ask one of my subordinates to deal with them."

Yu Holea shook her head, her determination unwavering despite her weakened state.

"No, I have to go," she insisted, her voice firm.

"I can’t let them face this danger alone. Besides, I’m the one who created that formation. I need to see what’s happening with my own eyes."

When she saw that Qiao Jun wanted to say something more, she interrupted,

Yu Holea didn’t want to agree with Qiao Jun but then a thought appeared in her mind.

"Thank you," she said softly, her voice filled with appreciation.

Qiao Jun only smiled and asked for the teleportation talisman.

As they flicked the teleportation talisman, a surge of energy enveloped them, transporting them in an instant to the grounds of Pan Mansion.

One look was enough to tell Yu Holea that the other party was not a ghost.

If a ghost had broken the formation then the mansion should have been filled with thick Yin energy, however, instead of any Yin or Yang energy, all she was seeing was thick black clouds...

The Pan family was in danger and that is all Yu Holea could think of.

Suddenly something caught Yu Holea’s eyes.

After some time, Yu Holea came out with a plastic polythene in her hand.

Qiao Jun was curious and wanted to ask what it was but when he saw Yu Holea’s serious face he said nothing.

Yu Holea hurriedly asked Qiao Jun to flick some more teleportation talismans and within a few minutes they were standing out of Pan Rou’s room.

It just happened that they heard a hoarse voice,

"Let’s go."

Without wasting a moment, Yu Holea tightened her grip on the plastic polythene she had retrieved and motioned for Qiao Jun to follow her silently.

Qiao Jun nodded.

The moment they opened the door they met with a chilling sight.

Pan Zhijin stood menacingly in the center of the room, his grip tightening around Pan Rou’s neck as she struggled against him, her defiant spirit unbroken despite the fear in her eyes.

Qi Zhong was trying her best to remove Pan Zhijin’s hand from Pan Rou’s neck and Mrs. Pan was lying on the ground unconsciously.

Yu Holea stared at Mrs. Pan for a second and her eyes were filled with disdain, then she flicked an exorcism talisman at Pan Zhijin but the talisman didn’t have any effect on Pan Zhinjin.

Yu Holea concluded that Pan Zhijin was not a ghost.

Pan Zhijin felt a yellow paper flying around and he frowned.

He turned around and the moment his eyes landed on Yu Holea, he narrowed his eyes,

"Don’t interfere in the places, where you can’t even afford to protect yourself."

Yu Holea chuckled,

"Oh, really? Let’s see."

She said and flicked a thunder and fire talisman on him.

This time the talisman worked and Pan Zhijin had to retreat.

Pan Rou fell to the ground and coughed violently.

"Cough...cough! Cough."

Qi Zhong who was staring at Yu Holea in a daze, hurriedly patted Pan Rou’s back.

Yu Holea didn’t look at them and created a protective barrier around them.

Pan Zhijin looked at Yu Holea with a malicious gaze as he said

"You think you can stop me with your petty tricks, little witch? You have no idea who you’re dealing with."

His words dripped with venom as he prepared to unleash his full power against Yu Holea.

Yu Holea shook her head and said,

"I am not interested in conversation. Let’s fight."

Without any more words, Yu Holea channeled her mystic energy and made a circular blue ball that was emitting a whitish light.

"Stupid." Pan Zhijin muttered and a strange smile appeared on his face.
