Yu Holea wanted to push Qiao Jun away but at the same time, she craved his warmth.

What was happening with her?

She remained silent and suddenly she hugged Qiao Jun.

For no reason her eyes watered and she started sobbing.

Qiao Jun felt his heart skipping a beat and he asked with concern,

"Holea, what happened? Tell me! Did someone bully you? Did someone say something to you?"

Yu Holea shook her head and after sobbing for the next 2 minutes, she said in a choked voice,

"I feel sad! I feel very sad!"

Qiao Jun patted her head and coaxed her,

"Holea if something is bothering you, you can tell it to me!"

Yu Holea shook her head.

Just as Qiao Jun was worried, Yu Holea suddenly pushed him away and ran toward the bathroom.

Qiao Jun’s heart almost popped out of his chest and he hurriedly followed her behind,

"Holea!"

He knocked on the door.

No response.

"Holea! Open the door! What happened? Are you fine?"

Yu Holea’s low voice sounded,

"You go out!"

"Huh?" Qiao Jun was confused.

"You go out! Please!" Holea’s voice sounded particularly loud.

"But..."

"Please." Yu Holea said urgently and Qiao Jun could only leave.

Before leaving he didn’t forget to say,

"I am just outside the room, if you need something call me."

"Hmm." Yu Holea agreed and Qiao Jun left the room reluctantly.

Qiao Jun leaned on the door as he waited for Yu Holea to call him.

He didn’t forget to text his subordinate and ask him, how Yu Holea’s day went and whether she saw or heard, or experienced anything unpleasant.

After 3 minutes he heard Yu Holea call him,

"You can come in."

Qiao Jun hurriedly entered the room and when he saw Yu Holea who was curled up in her bed, he was worried and instantly asked with concern,

"What happened Lea."

First her abnormal behaviour, and now the painful expression on Yu Holea’s face. Qiao Jun felt that maybe Yu Holea had a fever or something.

However suddenly he noticed that she was covering her stomach and linked a line connecting the dots, he understood what was happening.

Earlier Yu Holea had mood swings and now her stomach was aching. With Little Jun’s memory, Qiao Jun remembered something.

Without a word, Qiao Jun left the room.

For a moment Yu Holea was at a loss but when she remembered how she behaved just a few moments ago, her face turned red and she started feeling ashamed.

Without any mistake, she was throwing a tantrum at him and almost hit him.

Stupid!

It was all because of this body!

Her hormones are just... disasters!

Not to mention these period cramps were killing her.

For a moment Yu Holea even wanted to leave her body and get a moment of rest from the killer pain she was feeling!

Yu Holea wanted to call Qiao Jun and apologize to him, however, Qiao Jun didn’t come back for the next 20 minutes.

Yu Holea started overthinking.

Maybe now Qiao Jun is angry with her?

Well, it is fair! After all, she scolded him so much even when he wasn’t at fault and now he was ignoring her...it was fair but...

Yu Holea couldn’t control her tears.

"Baby~" Qiao Jun called out as he entered the room.

In his hand was a tray.

When Qiao Jun placed the tray in front of her, Yu Holea saw the content. There was a cup of brown sugar water, some dark chocolate, a plate of semi-melted ice cream, and a small cute stuffed toy.

Qiao Jun helped Yu Holea to sit and placed the cup near her mouth,

"Drink it."

But when he saw tears in her eyes he asked with surprise,

"What happened? Why are you crying? Is your stomach aching a lot?"

It was better if Qiao Jun didn’t ask her that, once he did, Yu Holea cried even more and Qiao Jun hugged her as he patted her back in a soothing manner,

"Alright! Alright! Don’t cry! Everything will be alright! Where is it paining? Tell me and I will massage it for you."

Yu Holea cried even more.

Once upon a time her period didn’t matter to anyone and she could only curl up whenever she was in pain, but now that she had such an amazing person who was so caring towards her, she scolded him for no reason!

"I...I am-am sorr-sorry! Sob...I- I shou-shouldn’t have shouted at you." Yu Holea said in between her sobs.

"Ai! Ai! Our rabbit is now looking so cute, yet hearing its words I am feeling heartache." Qiao Jun joked.

Yu Holea apologised one to two more times when finally Qiao Jun covered her lips and said,

"Okay! Stay silent now. First, drink this, and then have some chocolate." Qiao Jun helped Yu Holea to drink the brown sugar water and once Yu Holea finished it, Qiao Jun started massaging her stomach.

His pressure was just right, neither too much nor too little.

Gradually Yu Holea’s painful expression faded and she slowly turned sleepy.

She was asleep, and Qiao Jun too lay beside her and hugged her.

When he felt that her fingers were cold and even her feet were cold, he hurriedly covered her with a blanket and turned up the temperature.

However, even after 10 minutes when her fingers and feet remained cold, Qiao Jun felt worried.

He quickly thought of a solution put her hand inside his shirt and covered her feet with his.

Slowly Yu Holea’s feet and hands turned to normal temperature.

Yu Holea’s expression relaxed and Qiao Jun too slept.

At 3’o clock.

Pan Rou’s eyes opened. She felt thirsty. When she picked up the jar to drink the water, she realized that the jar was empty.

With a ’tsk’ sound, Pan Rou stood up and walked downstairs.

The lights were off and Pan Rou was walking down, other than the sound of her steps there were no other steps.

To say that Pan Rou wasn’t afraid, would be a lie.

For some reason, she kept on feeling as if someone was following her.

If only...she had turned she would realise that someone was indeed following her...

When Pan Rou reached the Kitchen she refilled the jar.

As she turned around her soul almost left her body and she shouted,

Qi Zhong covered Pan Rou’s mouth and scolded her,

"Shut up! It’s me!"

Pan Rou who had only seen a black shadow, now realized that it was Qi Zhong, her widened eyes slowly blinked and her breathing relaxed, she patted her chest and once Qi Zhong pulled away her hand, Pan Rou almost scolded angrily,

"Are you an idiot? Do you know that you scared me to the point of having a heart attack!"

Qi Zhong was irritated and said,

"Stop shouting! I didn’t deliberately scare you! I just wanted to make sure that you are alright."

Pan Rou rolled her eyes,

"Whatever. Why were you following me?"

Qi Zhong leaned against the kitchen slab and said,

"Blame your mother! It was her whose strange woke me up."

Pan Rou drank the water and once finished asked,

"What do you mean?"

Qi Zhong walked out of the kitchen and said,

"I was sleeping in my room when I woke up to some strange noises coming from your mother’s room. It sounded like she was having a nightmare or something.

So, I went to check on her, but she wasn’t there. I figured she might have gone downstairs, so I followed."

Pan Rou’s expression turned serious as she listened to Qi Zhong’s explanation.

"What happened next?" she asked, her voice filled with apprehension.

"I found her in the kitchen," Qi Zhong continued. "She seemed disoriented and confused like she didn’t know where she was. I tried talking to her, but she didn’t respond. It was like she was in a trance or something."

Pan Rou’s heart sank at Qi Zhong’s words.

"Do you think something’s wrong with her?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.

Qi Zhong shrugged, his expression troubled. "I’m not sure. It could just be stress or fatigue, but it’s strange. We should keep an eye on her and make sure she’s okay."

Pan Rou nodded in agreement, suddenly she said,

"Should I call Master Yu and tell her?"

Qi Zhong’s eyes brightened as she said,

"Yup!"

Pan Rou paused and didn’t forget to tease her,

"You seem very eager."

A blush appeared on Qi Zhong’s face as she said in a fake fierce tone,

"What the f*ck are you thinking! Don’t get me wrong! I only admire her talent!"

Pan Rou said nothing more and after much thought, she left a message to Yu Holea considering that Yu Holea was still asleep.

As Pan Rou and Qi Zhong walked upstairs, they heard a rustling sound, followed by a ’tsk’ sound.

"Tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk."
