Yu Holea noted Director Ou’s expression.

"Strangely the bookkeeper didn’t take any money from me and even looked at me with a weird gaze. For the next 1 month, I was busy reading the book and became so attracted that I decided to film it.

When the next day came I went to the place where the bookstore was, but the bookstore had closed down by then.

I went to the copyright center to find the original author but surprisingly the book didn’t have any author, other than the one I had there was no copy of the book elsewhere."

Director Ou looked at Yu Hoela,

"I decided to make a movie on it with the thought that once the movie is released whoever the original author is, will come forward to claim the rights.

As I started to make the preparations, that was when things started to turn weird."

Yu Holea listened intently as Director Ou recounted the eerie turn of events surrounding the mysterious book.

"Things started to turn weird... how so?" she inquired.

Director Ou took a deep breath, his expression grave as he delved into the unsettling details.

"As we began pre-production for the movie, strange occurrences plagued the set," he explained, his voice tinged with unease.

"Equipment malfunctioned inexplicably, crew members reported feeling a sense of dread, and accidents seemed to occur with alarming frequency.

At first, I thought it was normal but later I experienced nightmares. In the nightmares, I was running away from someone. Each time the thing is about to catch me I wake up." Director Ou said.

Yu Holea nodded and asked,

"Then?"

"I hired a Celestial Master and told him my story. He stayed with me, and the next morning he was dead. The cause of death was a heart attack.

I thought that maybe the Celestial Master had some heart disease, hence he died. I hired another celestial master but strangely he died having a heart attack too.

Only after hiring the 5th Celestial Master that I understand...whoever I told the story would die of a heart attack."

Yu Holea signaled him to continue.

"When the last Celestial Master I hired was admitted to the hospital yesterday, things got worse. I kept on feeling as if someone was looking at me.

Just this morning when I was showering, I felt as if a shadow was behind me. When I turned around there was no one. When I walked past the mirror in the bathroom, I didn’t see my reflection.

On the set, as I sat down on the chair, I suddenly felt a hand coming from behind and choking me... Frightened, I decided to spend time in church. However, before I reached church, my car changed the direction on its own...

Sensing that something was wrong, I ran away from the car and called you. Rest you know."

"Can you show me the book?" Yu Holea asked.

Director Ou nodded,

"I don’t have it here, why don’t I ask someone to bring it tomorrow?"

"Ok."

"Then...I...will leave..." Director Ou said with uncertainty.

After what he had experienced he didn’t dare to go out, but he found it inappropriate to ask Yu Holea to keep him with her.

Yu Holea put down the cup of tea and said,

"Why don’t you stay here tonight? This is my house, and I have a special barrier that could block any ghost."

Director Ou was hesitant and said,

"Will it be fine?"

Yu Holea thought for a while and said,

"Why don’t you invite your wife here? Or any family member?"

She thought that Director Ou was afraid.

Director Ou: "..." That is not what I meant.

But he found Yu Holea’s suggestion was good and agreed.

When he had started feeling that something was amiss, he had asked his wife to move away.

Even though his wife protested, he sent her away.

Now that he was calling his wife to stay with him, she hurriedly agreed.

Once Director Ou was finished with the call, Yu Holea passed him a talisman,

"Keep it with you."

Director Ou nodded and when he raised his arms to take the talismans, he suddenly had a cramp in his hand.

"Ahhhh!"

Yu Holea hurriedly asked,

"Sir, are you okay?"

"Yes...yes...I only had a cramp."

Yu Holea nodded her head and passed the talisman again.

Director Ou lifted his hand to take the talisman when suddenly Sheng Yin’s pained voice came.

"AHHHHH."

Yu Holea’s expression changed and she ran upstairs.

Director Ou followed behind her.

When Yu Holea went inside she saw Sheng Yin on the floor pointing in a particular direction with a horrified expression

Yu Holea first helped Sheng Yin to stand up and then she looked in the direction Sheng Yin was pointing.

It was a mirror. The mirror was oval.

Everything was looking normal except for the words written on the mirror.

"I choose you."

Just a single sentence was enough to chill anyone’s heart.

Yu Holea narrowed her eyes and asked,

" What happened here?"

Sheng Yin was looking at Yu Holea’s face with horror and said,

"I...I came out of the bathroom and...and suddenly felt as...as if...someone was writing something. When I turned around, I saw those...those words written on the mirror."

Yu Holea nodded and simply flicked an exorcism talisman on the written words.

Suddenly she heard a hiss.

When Yu Holea turned around, she saw Director Ou rolling down the stairs, it was as if he was pushed by someone.

Yu Holea used her mystic energy to stop him.

Thankfully she had stopped him at the right time. Director Ou only suffered light injuries.

Yu Holea hurriedly walked downstairs and checked on him.

"Director Ou, are you alright?"

Director Ou nodded his head with a shocked expression.

"I...someone pushed me! But I didn’t see anyone pushing me!"

Yu Holea nodded and flicked the healing talisman on him.

Then she turned around and said to Sheng Yin,

" You are going to sleep in my room today."

Qiao Jun who was in the box, chuckled bitterly.

Just when he cleared 3 people who were monopolizing her bed, she invited another one!

Unaware of Qiao Jun’s thoughts, Yu Holea checked on Director Ou who was in a daze and said,

"Uncle Ou it’s better if you stay in the room downstairs. And when your wife comes ask her to meet me."

Director Ou nodded and slowly went to the room downstairs.

Once he left, Sheng Yin asked with fear,

"Holea, that..."

"Don’t worry, with me here nothing could go wrong."

Sheng Yin nodded and went to Yu Holea’s room.

Yu Holea stared at a particular corner of the stairs and after a thoughtful look, Yu Holea went to her room.

Once in her room, she called her Teacher Fu and chatted with him about random things and finally asked,

"Teacher, do you know about Goddess City?"

"Hm Goddess City? Why do you want to know about it?"

Yu Holea’s eyes flashed and said,

"Teacher I am going to tell something very important to you but I want you to keep it a secret."

Mr. Fu sensed the seriousness in Yu Holea’s voice and agreed.

"Teacher I have become a candidate for the goddess’s power."

"What?" Teacher Fu felt his brain turning numb.

He couldn’t believe Yu Holea’s words.

Being the candidate for the goddess’s power is something very hard to become. And only a few people out of a billion people are selected as a candidates.

Just half a year ago he was sighing about how he wished for a candidate of the goddess to appear and now half a year later, his disciple has suddenly become the candidate of the goddess.

He suddenly remembered how he had seen a chaotic energy in his disciple’s body once and he felt as if everything had a connection.

"Yes, teacher."

"Congralutaion Holea!" Teacher Fu said with delight.

"Thank you, teacher!"

Teacher Fu began, his voice filled with awe.

"The fact that you’ve been chosen as a candidate for the goddess’s power speaks volumes about your character and your destiny. But it also means that you have a great responsibility ahead of you."

Yu Holea nodded, her expression was serious.

"I understand, Teacher. I am ready to embrace whatever responsibilities come with this blessing."

Teacher Fu smiled warmly at his disciple’s resolve,

"Oh right! You were asking about Goddess City, right? I will tell you. I don’t know the location of the goddess city. But I think it exists on the earth and is hidden. So far, I know that people who live in the goddess city are in some way related to divine power."

"But how does one find Goddess City?" Yu Holea inquired

"I think only if someone from the Goddess City comes to invite you, only then you could enter the Goddess City." Mr. Fu said after some thought.

Yu Holea asked,

"And how to get someone to invite you?"
