"I was checking whether you have a shadow or not."

Yu Holea almost chuckled and asked,

"And what is the use of it?"

"I can identify whether you are a ghost or not. If you have no shadow, then you are a ghost." The middle-aged man said with confidence.

Yu Holea:"..." No you can’t.

She coughed and reminded,

"Sir what if the ghost has possessed someone? Even if you ask that person to stand under the lampost, you will still be able to see that person’s shadow, even though he has already been possessed."

The middle-aged man’s face turned pale and no words of argument came out of his mouth.

Suddenly Yu Holea smiled eerily and said,

"And what if the person you have met till now was all an illusion, the shadow you saw was also an illusion?"

Yu Holea instantly felt embarrassed hearing the middle-aged man’s scream and said in an apologetic voice,

"I am sorry! I was only trying to scare you! Trust me! I am not a ghost."

However, the middle-aged man still didn’t dare to walk with Yu Holea and he retreated.

Yu Holea held her forehead.

She was cursing herself for being too cruel and took out a cross from her space.

"See I have this cross in my hand, do you still not believe me?"

The middle-aged man’s fear lessened visibly but he still stared at Yu Holea with a wary expression.

To lighten the atmosphere Yu Holea said,

"I am Yu Holea. You already know about my connection with Mr. Fu, but I will tell you about something more interesting things about me."

While saying so Yu Holea started walking in her villa’s direction.

Yu Holea’s voice was very pleasant to hear and since she wanted to relax the middle-aged man, she deliberately tried her best to look like a harmless rabbit.

At the same time since the middle-aged man was familiar with Mr. Fu, she kept telling him about Mr. Fu.

The trick worked and the middle-aged man calmed down quite a lot.

On the way to the villa, Yu Holea told about Mr. Fu’s deeds to the middle-aged man to calm him down.

Just then Sheng Yin who just happened to be present at the villa, came downstairs and said in a cheerful voice,

"Holea you have returned?"

When Sheng Yin came into Ou Xiaojin’s view, his remaining suspicion faded, and he finally relaxed.

Sheng Yin had only done a couple of projects but she was already considered a C-list celebrity.

Even though it may seem that Sheng Yin isn’t that popular, the truth is that many directors were looking forward to working with her.

Ou Xiaojin had only heard of her and had seen an acting clip of her. He was impressed by her acting skills and at that time, he asked his assistant to keep an eye on her.

"Yes." Yu Holea said and she noticed Sheng Yin’s hot gaze on Director Ou.

She coughed and reminded,

"Cough...cough...Yin, why don’t you go to the kitchen and bring some snacks?"

"Hm? Ah....yes! Wait a minute!" Sheng Yin came out of her thoughts and dashed into the kitchen.

Her heart was pounding with excitement.

Yu Holea sat down in front of Director Ou and asked,

"Sir, can you tell me your problem now?"

Director Ou’s face turned pale.

"Relax sir, if you don’t want to, I won’t push you to open up." Yu Holea said in a calm voice and Director Ou shook his head,

"It’s not like I’m afraid of opening up. I am afraid that you will cursed too."

There was fear in his voice.

Yu Holea raised an eyebrow and asked,

"Curse?"

Director Ou looked around, his amber eyes were trying to find someone or something.

"Sir you can tell it to me. I won’t be cursed." Yu Holea said again.

Director Ou shook his head firmly,

"You might not know this child but I have already hired many priests, Celestial Masters, and even paranormal investigators and each of them has died a horrible death.

The last Celestial Master I hired was also affected by the curse and almost died, currently, she is admitted to the hospital and her disciples are being haunted too."

Director Ou finished his words and rubbed his cold hand.

It was already night. With Director Ou’s story telling anyone would have been frightened but Yu Holea was still sitting on the sofa with a calm expression.

Director Ou was a bit astonished by Yu Holea’s reaction, and the fear in his heart subsided.

Yu Holea calmly asked,

"You mean to say that whoever hears your story gets cursed and attacked too?"

Just then Sheng Yin came out of the kitchen and placed the snacks on the table.

She made her way to the stairs. A good impression is better than a good talk.

Director Ou indeed was a bit impressed by Sheng Yin’s behaviour but other than that he wished she stayed to talk with him.

He was going to tell a horror story...and if possible he wanted more people, however, when he remembered the effect of the story, he didn’t dare to call out Sheng Yin’s name.

Also, with Yu Holea’s presence, he was feeling a strange kind of assurance. As if everything would be alright as long as he stayed near her.

"Sir please tell me the story. And don’t worry, nothing will happen. If you don’t tell me the story how would I be able to help you?"

Director Ou knew that Yu Holea was right and said,

"This all started when I bought the book called ’Cursed Child’. It is my habit to visit the bookstore and look through the upcoming books.

Usually, I only visit high-end bookstores, to have privacy, but 6 months ago, the bookstore I used to visit was closed for some reason. Having nothing to do, I decided to explore and found a bookstore in one of the alleys."

Director Ou’s eyes turned dazed when he said the last sentence.

Yu Holea looked at Director Ou thoughtfully and a glint flashed past her eyes.

"As I was strolling in the bookstore, I found the book named Cursed Child. I read 2 to 3 pages and found it interesting and I decided to buy it."
