Her tone was cold and the Qiao Family members were stunned by how powerful Yu Holea was.

At the same time, her protectiveness towards them made them smile and feel relaxed.

The demon having enough of the drama, used a dark fireball,

"Till now I was only toying with you but looks like I have to take you seriously."

Saying so he threw the ball in the Qiao family’s direction.

Yu Holea created a protective barrier around the Qiao Family. The ball hit the barrier and Yu Holea recoiled a few steps.

Without a word, Yu Holea made a mystic ball with one hand, while she used the other hand to, maintain the barrier.

When the mystic ball reached the demon, it exploded into a dazzling array of light, engulfing the demon in a blinding flash.

The creature howled in agony as the radiant energy seared through its dark form, its sinister visage contorting with pain.

For a moment, the room was bathed in brilliance, the pure light casting away the shadows that had engulfed them.

But even as the light began to fade, the demon’s malevolent laughter echoed through the air, its form flickering as it struggled to regain its footing amidst the onslaught.

"You think you can defeat me with such feeble tricks?" it snarled.

Suddenly the light disappeared and the human-like creature appeared.

This time, obviously pissed the demon lowered the temperature of the room and suddenly disappeared.

"Where...where did he go?" Qiao Zixin asked.

"Surprise." The demon’s voice came from above and everyone looked up.

He wasn’t alone though, a strange black gas was around him.

Yu Holea gritted her teeth.

The black gas wasn’t a part of the demon it was a power...a supreme power lent to the demon by the person behind the demon.

She was a Heaven Rank Mystic Cultivator, it wasn’t much for her to defeat the demon but the black gas...it would be difficult to deal with.

Hence Yu Holea looked at all the other members with an apologetic look and said,

"I am sorry."

Before anyone could understand what she meant Yu Holea flicked the teleportation talismans on them.

One by one everyone disappeared.

Yu Holea thanked Talisman Pagoda in her heart. After all, the talismans she possessed would never be capable of helping her escape a closed space.

The demon suddenly looked at Yu Holea warily,

"Are you a talisman practitioner?"

Yu Hoela smiled and said,

"You didn’t realize it when I flicked a low-grade exorcism talisman?"

The demon growled and lunged forward to attack her. Yu Holea dodged him and flicked an array of talismans.

The demon smirked when he noticed that not a single talisman of Yu Holea hit him.

"Even though you are a skilled practitioner your aim is bad."

Yu Holea ignored him and flicked more talismans while dodging his attack.

But this time too the talisman didn’t hit the demon at all.

The demon suddenly felt that he was taking Yu Holea too seriously.

This girl was not even able to aim properly, how could she fight him?

He leisurely attacked her and sometimes Yu Holea got hit too.

After 5 minutes, a smile appeared on Yu Holea’s face as she said,

"Done."

"What?" The demon asked with confusion.

"After you got that power, you became someone I could hardly defeat but thanks to your dumb brain... oops...do you even have a brain?"

The demon was angry but before he could retort, Yu Holea flicked a talisman in his direction and the demon remained rooted thinking, that the talisman would again hit the wrong target.

However, to his surprise, the talisman did not miss its mark this time. It struck the demon square in the chest, unleashing a brilliant burst of light that enveloped its form in a blinding glow.

The demon howled in agony as the mystic energy surged through its being, it was then that he realized that around him an array was formed.

His eyes widened in fear as he said in disbelief,

"An...an array made of talisman?"

Yu Holea smiled brightly as she said,

"Yes. How I wish that you could return to your boss and tell him how much of a painful death he will suffer if he kept on threatening my little brothers."

Whoosh. before the demon could understand Yu Holea’s words, his entire body turned into ashes.

"You are powerful." A voice said.

"Oh? So the boss was here all the time but still mercilessly stood on one side and watched as his subordinate died." Yu Holea said with amusement in her voice.

"He was an idiot. You are a worthy candidate to fight though." The voice said.

" If you think so why don’t you appear?" Yu Holea asked calmly.

"I will come to take away my prey." The voice continued.

"If you dare to harm my little brother, I will hunt you till hell." Yu Holea’s voice turned cold.

"We will see."The voice said leisurely.

Suddenly the blackness disappeared and the next thing Yu Holea knew was that she was in Mrs. Qiao’s room.

Yu Holea’s expression turned a bit grim.

She suddenly asked something from Zephyr and after a bit of talk, a glint flashed in her eyes.

The door of the room suddenly opened and Qiao Family members came in one by one.

"Holea, are you alright?"

"You crazy child do you think of yourself as a Batman?"

"Lea, you shouldn’t have sent us away, do you even know how dangerous it was?"

"Sister, are you okay?"

"Holea you are really reckless."

"Sister, do you want some water."

...

One after another hearing their comment, Yu Holea’s head started spinning.

"Stop." Qiao Heng said and everyone quietened down.

He pointed at Yu Holea who was clutching her head,

"You should first bring some water and snacks for her to eat."

All the people present nodded and went downstairs to bring snacks.

Qiao Heng, Mrs. Qiao, and Cai Bao on the other hand tucked Yu Holea in bed.

"I am fine..." Yu Holea could only say 3 words before Mrs. Qiao interrupted her,

"You are not. You just now fought with such a powerful demon. Oh yeah, what happened, how did you escape? Did you get injured?" Mrs. Qiao asked.

"Calm down wifey. Save your energy. If you ask so many questions, Holea won’t be able to answer you." Mr. Qiao said.

Mrs. Qiao nodded and started checking for injuries on Yu Holea’s body.

When she saw nothing, her expression eased.

Just then the Qiao siblings returned with snacks and water and started offering it one by one.

Yu Holea watched helplessly as they fed her food and crowded her like some pet.

However, in her heart, she was very happy.

The emptiness she was feeling earlier vanished.

Because of this Yu Holea didn’t even realize that she was tired and soon fell asleep.

"Shhh." Qiao Heng was the first one to notice that Yu Holea had fallen asleep. He asked everyone to quieten down and signaled them to go downstairs.

Everyone except for Kris and Qiao Zirui moved.

Qiao Heng said to Qiao Zirui and Kris,

"You both too."

"I am afraid." Qiao Zirui said in a frightened voice.

The past few days were hell for him. Even though he wanted to tell Yu Holea about what was happening to him when they went to a picnic, however for some reason he always forgot what he wanted to say...

It was a really strange feeling.

"I need to know something." Qiao Heng said while looking at Kris.

At last, the little cuties had to go downstair.

"What was that Zirui? Was that the demon you talked about?" Mrs. Qiao asked worriedly.

It wasn’t her first time seeing the demon that hunted her child. When Yu Holea first arrived at the Qiao Mansion she had attacked the demon who was haunting Qiao Zirui.

That was the first time Mrs. Qiao saw the demon. However, the demon that she saw today and the demon that appeared were totally different.

"He wasn’t the main demon. The main demon that haunts me, is very powerful." Qiao Zirui said with a pale face.

Silence ensued.

"Don’t worry I will deal with it." Mr. Qiao said. This holiday was too adventurous for him.

"Thank god we have Holea, otherwise god knows what would have happened."

"Dad Yu Holea has done so much for us shouldn’t we repay her?"

"Hm. She has helped us a lot from saving mom’s life to saving my fourth son, she has indeed done a lot. I wonder what we have done to deserve such an angel" Qiao Heng said.

Kris agreed in his heart. His beautiful sister was indeed an angel.

"I know a way!!" Qiao Zirui said.

"I know a way!" Cai Bao and Mrs. Qiao said

Mr. Qiao looked at everyone and said,
