Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All -
Chapter 133: Cursed Shadow Graveyard
Chapter 133: Chapter 133: Cursed Shadow Graveyard
Jiang Wei nodded and soon they both left for the graveyard.
On the way, Jiang Wei said worriedly,
"We are still not able to contact my cousin brother."
The worry grew stronger in Jiang Wei’s heart, and Yu Holea’s unease also intensified.
It was currently 3’o clock in the afternoon and they estimated that by 6’o clock they will reach the graveyard.
Jiang Wei suddenly received a call from her family.
While she chatted with them Yu Holea used her phone to check about the graveyard.
Since she has used divination to know about the location Yu Holea was able to deduct the Feng Shui and the name of the graveyard soon.
The graveyard was called Cursed Shadow Graveyard.
According to the local legends, Cursed Shadows Graveyard had a dark and twisted history.
A few decades ago, the Cursed Shadow Graveyard was a normal cemetery.
However, overnight this cemetery turned from a normal one to a cursed one.
Yu Holea searched on various websites but she didn’t find the backstory of the graveyard.
What can be more frightening than the unknown?
Yu Holea wasn’t afraid of the ghost but the fact that they won’t be able to reach there on time.
As they continued their journey, the hours passed by slowly.
The sun was beginning to set, casting a golden glow over the landscape.
The eerie atmosphere of the approaching night only added to the tension in the air.
Finally, as the clock struck 6 o’clock, they arrived at the outskirts of the graveyard.
The sky was painted in shades of orange and purple, and the first stars were starting to appear.
The driver stopped there and said,
"From here onwards you will have to walk on your own."
Jiang Wei asked with a frown,
"You haven’t dropped us at the destination yet. There are still 5 km left."
The driver said in a serious tone,
"I can’t go inside after 6’o clock. Madam, I advise you to don’t enter the area inside the graveyard after 6’o clock too because whoever enters this area will never come back."
Jiang Wei felt a chill run down her spine as she listened to the driver’s words.
Despite her bravery and experience in dealing with the supernatural, the air around the graveyard felt suffused with an eerie energy that she couldn’t ignore.
Jiang Wei tried to persuade him and said,
"I will pay you 10,000 yuan extra if you agree."
However, the driver just shook his head.
He recalled his previous encounter and said,
"One day I had become greedy and agreed to drop a foreigner at the graveyard after 6’o clock.
At that time, everything was alright till the time I was with that foreigner but once I dropped him, I kept on feeling as if someone was staring at me from my backseat.
Finally, I gathered my courage and looked at the backseat but no one was there."
Hearing this Jiang Wei who was holding her breath even without knowing, heaved a sigh of relief.
But the driver next words shocked her to the core,
"Suddenly I don’t know why but I looked in the rearview mirror and saw a shadowy figure sitting in the backseat.
Every time I glanced into the rearview mirror, I saw a shadowy figure sitting there, its eyes glowing with an eerie light but I still continued driving," the driver continued, his voice trembling with fear.
"No matter how fast I drove, the figure remained there, haunting me all the way back. It wasn’t until I crossed the boundary of the graveyard that the presence finally disappeared."
For a moment there was silence in the car.
The driver’s words echoed in their minds as he continued,
"Since that day, I vowed to never enter the cursed boundaries of the Cursed Shadow Graveyard again. No amount of money is worth risking one’s life."
"Thank you for your concern," Jiang Wei said to the driver, handing him some extra money as gratitude for his honesty.
Jiang Wei and Yu Holea came out of the car and watched as the driver left.
Jiang Wei looked at the tired face of Yu Holea and apologized,
"I am sorry, because of my thoughtlessness you have to work so hard."
Yu Holea shook her head and looked at the road ahead.
She said after some calculation,
"If we walk fast we will able to meet them before they enter the graveyard."
Jiang Lei and their friends might have arrived at this place this morning and for the exploration, they might have decided to explore it during night.
If they were lucky enough then Yu Holea and Jiang Wei might meet them at the gate and stop them from entering.
Jiang Wei nodded emotionally and both of them started walking in the graveyard’s direction.
......
At Cursed Shadow Graveyard.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long, ominous shadows across the land, a chilling fog began to creep in, shrouding the graveyard in an eerie mist.
The air was thick with an oppressive silence, broken only by the distant hooting of an owl and the occasional creaking sound of footsteps.
Jiang Lei and his friend at already arrived at the desolated Graveyard.
Jiang Lei looked at his 7 friends, out of which 3 were girls and the other 3 were boys.
Then he looked at his dead phone.
Surprisingly his phone stopped working suddenly.
He had wanted to call his family but since he doesn’t remember their number, he wasn’t able to contact them.
Jiang Lei was starting to feel uneasy now.
Currently, all the boys were excited sensing the eerie atmosphere, while one of the girls was shooting a video.
"Hello everyone, welcome back, I am Zhang Meilin with my cousin Ling Na and my friend Zhou Susu. We also have 5 boys with us! They are Li Chong, Jiang Lei, Xia Meng, and Zhou Kun. Zhou Kun is Zhou Susu’s cousin and you have guessed right, we have 2 rich heirs among us i.e. Jiang Lei and Xia Meng!"
If Yu Holea was present here she would have known that Zhou Kun was the guy she had met during their 1 week of training in Jackson High School.
But surprisingly she didn’t see any of the students except for Wu Guwei during their adventure week.
It was as if He Ding, Xia Heqian, Xia Bao, and Zhou Kun have vanished from Jackson High School.
Of course, what Yu Holea didn’t know was due to their inefficiency to keep up and their behavior, all 4 of them were expelled.
Not everyone was lucky and capable enough to handle the 1st week’s training.
One more thing that was a shock was that Zhou Susu was the cousin of Zhou Kun.
(Author: Zhou Susu was the annoying girl Yu Holea met at Kunlun Mountain.)
Xia Meng on the other hand was a cousin of Xia Bao and Xia Heqian.
It was clear that they were interconnected.
Currently, the camera was passed to Li Chong who said, cooly,
"Hello everyone I am Li Chong. I am looking forward to exploring this place. Even though this sh*tty place isn’t creepy at all and I am feeling bored..."
Zhang Meliin rolled her eyes.
If wasn’t for associating herself with this group of extraordinarily resourceful group she wouldn’t have invited others except for Xia Meng, Ling Na, and Jiang Lei.
This Zhou Susu, Zhou Kun, and Li Chong are too annoying, but since they are superpower users, they can act as a cover for them if they encounter any ghosts.
If she was lucky enough she might even be able to catch the cool way in which they are fighting.
After all these 3 people were nothing but replacements for those who couldn’t come due to some reason.
On the other hand, Zhou Susu and Zhou Kun were looking for a chance to associate themselves with this rich kid group.
Jiang Lei was a little concerned while looking around.
He kept feeling as if someone was looking at them.
With each of them having their own thought, they entered the graveyard.
The moment they entered the graveyard, all of them felt cold suddenly.
The graveyard was filled with different coffins and tombstones, their surfaces weathered and worn by time.
Far away at the end of the graveyard was a small mansion and on the left was a bridge connecting to a small forest.
On the right of the graveyard was an abandoned small house.
Except for 7 of them, there was no one else present.
Ling Na couldn’t help but say,
"Guys, am I the only one or does everyone feel that it is strange that their no watchman here?"
"It is indeed strange." Jiang Lei muttered.
Xia Meng said,
"That Duan Tao had said this place isn’t dangerous but why do I feel that it is quite the opposite? He claims that he is my best friend but sometimes I feel he is my enemy."
