Jiang Lei, torn between his friends’ disbelief and the seriousness of Yu Holea’s warning, hesitated for a moment.

He glanced at Yu Holea, searching her face for any sign of confirmation or doubt.

Yu Holea met his gaze with a mixture of concern and sincerity.

She spoke softly, directing her words to Jiang Lei,

"Mr. Jiang, the decision is ultimately yours to make. Trust your instincts and consider the consequences. Your well-being is important."

The skeptical friend, growing impatient, scoffed once more,

"Oh please, Jiang Lei. Don’t tell me you’re actually buying into this charade. We came here to have fun, not listen to some self-proclaimed fortune-teller."

Jiang Lei’s expression shifted as he weighed his friends’ skepticism against the cautionary words of Yu Holea.

His desire for adventure and the pressure from his friend made it difficult to believe Yu Holea. In the end, he made his decision.

Turning to Yu Holea, Jiang Lei expressed gratitude, his voice filled with sincerity,

"Thank you for your concern and warning. While I appreciate your words, I’ve decided to join my friends in exploring the graveyard. We’ll be cautious and make sure to watch out for any danger."

Yu Holea paused and said nothing.

Looks like she will have to talk with Jiang Wei about this matter.

With that, Jiang Lei and his skeptical friend turned away, leaving Yu Holea behind.

Qiao Li was angry hearing their remarks and asked Yu Holea,

"Why did you stop me, from saying anything?"

Just now when those friends were mocking Yu Holea, Qiao Li was about to scold them but Yu Holea held her hand and stopped her from saying anything more.

However, before she could finish, an image flashed in Yu Holea’s mind.

In the image, Jiang Lei was running with 2 boys and one girl.

One of the boy’s hands were chopped, while all other had suffered heavy injury.

A dark shadow was following them from behind.

But since this scene was too blurry, Yu Holea wasn’t able to make out who was who.

Suddenly the image vanished however it left Yu Holea with a lot of questions.

What was she seeing now? Future? But how?

With the help of Mystic Energy, she can predict someone’s future as with the help of the Mystic Energy, one can predict, heal, or even have strange abilities.

But they can never actually see the future.

So how can she see it?

Qiao Li tapped on Yu Holea’s shoulder and asked,

"What happened? Why did you stop?"

Yu Holea came out of her thoughts and said,

"Nothing I was just thinking why even though Jiang Lei is Jiang Wei’s brother, doesn’t believe in divination."

Qiao Li smiled as she explained,

"Lea, you might think that there are many superhumans in this world but it is only because you are one of them and are surrounded by them all the time that you feel so."

Then she explained,

"We exist to make others feel that everything is normal while we deal with all kinds of abnormality. The reason why Jiang Lei doesn’t believe in divination or supernatural phenomena could be because he has not encountered such things directly or because he chooses to rely on more rational explanations"

"His sister never told him about her superpower because she knows the truth, that once a human heart is corrupted, no one can remain unscathed." Qiao Li said this with a serious expression.

Yu Holea understood and didn’t ask anything further.

When Qiao Jun returned, he drove them to Qiao Mansion but Yu Holea asked him to stop her at her villa and said,

"I won’t be back for tonight. See you in the morning!"

Qiao Zirui and Qiao Li reluctantly bade farewell and left with Qiao Jun who looked at the pair of curious eyes hidden behind the curtain.

Even though Qiao Jun felt strange he still drove away, since it was Yu Holea’s decision to hide.

When Yu Holea entered the living room she was hugged by a ’fluffy ball’

Yu Hole smiled and lifted Kris in her arms.

Kris giggled and asked,

"How was your day?"

Yu Holea told him about the amusement park and when she saw the longing in Kris’s eyes her heart ache.

She told to him,

"Let’s do one thing! Once I am free I will take you to an amusement park."

Kris instantly cheered up.

Nanny Li who was on the side couldn’t help but say,

"Little Kris miss you a lot."

Yu Holea patted Kris’s head and said,

"Don’t worry, I will soon be free then I can accompany you more."

Kris blushed and nodded.

Looking at the bandages around Kris’s face, Yu Holea was curious.

She wondered when Kris’s face would heal fully.

That night Yu Holea talked with Kris for a long time and finally put him to sleep after narrating a story.
