Connor couldn't help but let out a cold laugh and then said lightly, "I didn't expect Albert's heart to be so ruthless, valuing his own daughter at only one billion!"

"Well, sometimes I'm not that important in the Collier family..."

Aida's expression seemed somewhat unpleasant, and she continued, "If the same thing happened to Cielo, even if it meant bankrupting Albert, he would rescue Cielo..."

"Let's not talk about this. Tomorrow, I'll find a suitable warehouse and call Albert to arrange the deal," he said softly.

"No need to go to the warehouse. I can wait here," she replied casually.

"Then, should you cooperate with me by putting on some makeup and showing that you're in a miserable state?"

Beau, who had just gotten up, received a parcel sent by Cielo. Beau wasn't particularly interested in the parcel, so he didn't pay much attention to it and didn't open it right away.

During breakfast, Cielo kept observing Beau's expression. To his surprise, Beau showed no reaction at all. This puzzled him because he thought that if Beau saw the photos inside the parcel, there would definitely be a reaction.

After finishing breakfast, the Collier family members dispersed.

Cielo realized that he couldn't bring up the topic of the parcel himself, as it would increase suspicion. So, he found the Collier family's steward and instructed him regarding the parcel.

The steward had a good relationship with both Cielo and Shereen and her son, so he agreed to help.

After finishing breakfast, Beau sat on the sofa and started reading the newspaper.

About ten minutes later, he put down the newspaper and got up to leave.

The steward noticed that Beau was about to leave and quickly asked, "Master, is this parcel yours?"

"I received it this morning, and I'm not sure what's inside. Open it and take a look for me."

Beau, reminded by the steward, remembered the parcel and replied casually.

"Alright."

The steward nodded and proceeded to open the parcel.

However, when he opened it, he froze in place. The parcel contained only photos of Aida and Connor.

Because of the previous incident when Connor intruded into the Collier household, the steward had some impression of him. Additionally, Cielo had informed him about reminding Beau of the parcel, so the steward quickly pieced together what was happening.

"What's inside?"

Beau asked the steward in a hushed tone.

"It's... it's some photos of Miss and that person!"

The steward replied in a low voice.

"Photos? What photos?"

Beau's expression seemed puzzled, as he noticed that something was amiss with the steward's expression.

"They are photos of Miss with that person!"

The steward said quietly.

Beau paused for a moment, then quickly picked up the photos and examined them closely. After a few seconds, his expression became extremely unpleasant. His own granddaughter had not only associated with their greatest enemy, Connor, but they had also been seen entering a hotel together hand in hand. How could this happen?

Furthermore, Beau had been trying to match Aida with Juan. Once the Gomez family discovered this, it would complicate matters even more.

"Phew..."

Beau couldn't help but take a deep breath and then said in a low voice to the steward, "Ask Albert and Cielo to come to my study immediately. I have something very important to discuss with them."

"Yes, sir."

The steward agreed and left.

A few minutes later, Albert, who was about to leave the house, was stopped by the steward and hurriedly made his way to Beau's study.

Upon hearing that his plan had succeeded, Cielo also arrived at Beau's study.

"Father, Grandfather, why did you call me here? What's going on?"

Cielo pretended not to know anything and asked Beau.

Beau let out a cold laugh and then, with an emotionless expression, placed the photos on the table, glaring at his son and grandson. "Take a look at what your daughter has done!"

Albert paused and then quickly lowered his head to look at the photos on the table. His expression became unbelievably puzzled.

"How... how is this possible? How could Aida be involved with someone like Connor?"

Albert said in a low voice.

"Albert, how did you become the head of the Collier family? You can't even control your own daughter. Connor is our Collier family's biggest enemy, and yet, your daughter is getting involved with him. How do you explain this?"

Beau questioned him directly.

"Grandfather, is there some misunderstanding in this matter?"

Cielo pretended to be concerned.

"Misunderstanding?"

Beau let out a cold laugh and continued in a low voice, "When that kid Connor intruded into the secret room, I already felt something was off. We have so many guards outside the secret room, and there are many password-protected doors. An ordinary person couldn't have entered, but Connor did, and he even kidnapped Aida before leaving. It shows that all of this was planned by Connor and Aida was an inside agent in our Collier family!"

"Father, Aida couldn't possibly have any reason to do such things! Besides, she didn't even know Connor before!"

Albert nervously argued.

"No reason to do this?"

Beau let out a cold laugh and said with a straight face, "These photos are the reason, aren't they? Your daughter has fallen for Connor, so she helped him enter our Collier family's secret room!"
