Chapter 1535: At Your Will

Chapter 1535: At Your Will

"Indeed, this is our Purple Cloud Sect's Junior Sect Leader. I advise you to be sensible and hand over the person to me. This way, you might suffer a little less!"

The Second Elder chuckled as he spoke to Samuel.

"Our affairs in Honduria don't need your Purple Cloud Sect to meddle. If you want to take that person today, you'll have to pass me first!"

Samuel shouted expressionlessly.

"In that case, don't mind me…"

The Second Elder didn't waste any more words and charged toward Samuel.

Samuel quickly retreated two steps, but the Second Elder's speed was astonishingly fast. In almost the blink of an eye, he had reached Samuel.

"Boom!"

A loud sound echoed.

The Second Elder's fist struck Samuel's chest forcefully, sending him flying. He crashed heavily into a nearby tree.

Upon witnessing this, Jenna's expression turned tense. She shouted loudly, "Grandfather, are you okay?"

"I'm fine…"

Samuel replied softly, then gritted his teeth and got back on his feet.

At this moment, Samuel realized the terrifying strength of the Second Elder.

"Feel my punch!"

Although Samuel understood the gap in strength, he seemed unwilling to give up. He charged toward the Second Elder once again, raising his fist to strike at the Second Elder's head.

The Second Elder's expression held a trace of disdain. He casually flicked his right hand toward Samuel's attack.

Samuel sensed the formidable power behind the Second Elder's strike and quickly retracted his punch, using his arm to block above his head, seemingly preparing to bear the brunt of the attack.

"Boom!"

Another loud sound.

The Second Elder's palm shattered Samuel's arm as it struck.

Samuel dropped to his knees in pain, his face contorted in agony.

Connor, observing this scene, was also shocked. He hadn't anticipated the Second Elder's strength to be this terrifying. After all, Samuel was also a Black-rank martial artist, yet he proved utterly defenseless against the Second Elder.

Even Jenna, despite only having exchanged a couple of moves, realized that Samuel was no match for the Second Elder.

"I told you already, you're no match for me. Why subject yourself to such suffering?"

The Second Elder sighed helplessly.

"I haven't lost yet!"

Samuel gritted his teeth and yelled, preparing to continue fighting.

"Grandfather, please don't continue!"

However, at this moment, Jenna shouted desperately.

She knew that if he kept fighting, it would be a one-way path to death.

Samuel turned his head to look at Jenna, then slowly closed his eyes and muttered, "Perhaps this is fate. Even if the position of Honduria's number one family changes, it won't be our turn, the Lester family."

After a brief hesitation, Jenna knelt in front of Connor and whispered, "Mr. Connor, I surrender. I hope you can spare my grandfather and me."

He glanced at her calmly upon hearing her words.

Taking a deep breath, she mustered the courage to speak to Connor, "Mr. Connor, as long as you spare my grandfather, I'm willing to do whatever you ask."

"Whatever I ask?"

Connor couldn't help but chuckle upon hearing her words. He clearly understood the implications of Jenna's offer.

The Second Elder also understood and turned his head away, as if signaling to Connor that he hadn't heard anything or seen anything.

Seeing the Second Elder's reaction, Connor smiled and walked up to Jenna.

She deliberately struck a provocative pose, her seductive figure fully exposed to him. Part of the towel she had draped around her had slipped off, revealing her ample bosom, making for a captivating yet bittersweet sight.

She was well aware that her body was her greatest asset. In the presence of her enticing figure, almost no man could resist, and she was confident in her allure.

"I'm not interested in you. Hand over all of your family's assets to me and tell me where Yelena is. Then, I might spare you."

Connor spoke softly to Jenna.

"Our family's assets?"

Jenna was momentarily taken aback by Connor's words, and her expression showed a hint of reluctance. After all, she had worked hard for many years to accumulate the Lester family's assets.

"Mr. Connor, from now on, I'll be your servant. I'll do whatever you want. Is that okay?"

Jenna pleaded with Connor.

"What use do I have for a servant like you?"

Connor replied casually.

Jenna was left speechless by his response. She had never imagined that her charming demeanor would be of no value in his eyes. Taking a deep breath, she continued, "Mr. Connor, if I hand over all of our family's assets to you, will you spare me?"

"That's right!"

He nodded gently.

Jenna bit her lip and fell silent for a couple of seconds. Then, she slowly stood up and said, "Mr. Connor, please follow me. I'll sign a contract with you right away."

"Not with me, but with the Second Elder."

Connor turned to the Second Elder and spoke calmly.

He didn't actually need more money. He already had ample wealth, and now that he essentially controlled the entire Bander family, their assets meant little to him. However, Purple Cloud Sect was in need of resources, and the timely intervention of Guan Wen and the Second Elder was a significant factor in quickly bringing Palmer and Jenna to submission. Connor wanted to repay their efforts, which is why he decided not to let them go unrewarded.

"Junior Sect Leader, is this really appropriate?"

The Second Elder feigned concern as he addressed Connor.

"There's nothing inappropriate about it. This amount of money means nothing to me. My Master has been absent and hasn't managed the sect's affairs. Consider this a reward for the help you and the others have provided. There's no need to contribute it to the sect!"

Connor's tone was even and composed.
