Chapter 161: A special summon
Chapter 161: A special summon
The process of drawing something so big was really complicated. He had to be careful with certain muscles in his drawing creation.
He needed to make the correct height and width at each step, but he had become a master at this.
Even though it was quite large, it didn’t take him too long to create it. He used 1 strength and 1 resistance stat to create it.
He soon finished the process and looked carefully to ensure there wasn’t a mistake.
The system then began its work. The basilisk’s body was consumed in energy, and an energy basilisk was created in its place.
"Is it bigger?" she asked, looking at him in shock.
"It looks like it." He replied. "A meter taller and about 2 meters longer?"
"My goodness, you’ve created a real monster."
"Haha... let’s see his class better, " he said, adding 4 points in strength and 4 in stamina.
His figure was not changed, but his presence suddenly increased several-fold.
[The Basilisk has awakened the Great Bestial Warrior Class.]
[5 points are added in Sense.]
[Great Bestial Warrior.]
| Increases Main Stats by 10 points when activated.
| Gives him a unique presence that attracts all he considers rivals to attack him.
| When his class is active, Energy Armor is created, which surrounds his body and makes him incredibly tough.
| His Sharp Claws hide the secrets of Titanium.
Elliot nodded, thinking carefully about it.
’An explosive Class, huh.’ He smiled.
It would be a good idea to make this his most powerful summoning.
So, he added 3 points in Strength and Resistance, increasing both to 40 points.
That left him with a total of 8 Points in Strength. 7 in Resistance, 9 in Agility, and 14 in Sense.
’Hm. Making it smart is important, too, ’ he thought, adding three more points to the sense.
This time, it simply grew a little more.
"Is his class any good?" She asked from the side.
"Yes." He nodded. "Pretty good. I made it my best summon for now. His strength when his Class is activated is pretty high."
"Good."
Elliot decided to start making his crow, so he put the basilisk away and pulled out the other corpse.
He thought doing this would be much easier, but quickly realized it wasn’t.
He needed to embody each of these bastards’ quirks very well to make it the same. He wanted to take advantage of the fact that this bastard in the dark could move well, so he needed his raven to be as close to that as possible.
But for that, he needed to make an exact copy of the raven practically. And that was complicated. A crow doesn’t have normal muscles and has a lot of plumage that hides each feature. That’s why it took him a long time.
Even though he was now a master at creating these things, it took him four hours to finish it.
With so many details to perform, he was exhausted and threw himself backwards.
"Hah." He took a deep breath and let the system finish the process...
Seconds later, it finished.
[Summon: Shadow Raven has been created.]
[Special Summon has been created.]
[The Created Summon is quite clever.]
Elliot was immediately excited to see those messages, and the tiredness disappeared from his body.
Had he finally created a special summon?
[Stats]
| Strength: 0.
| Stamina: 0.
| Agility: 5.
| Sense: 10.
’Ten?’ His eyes sparkled with surprise. ’So he has 5 Base Sense...’ He grinned broadly.
He couldn’t help but want to see what kind of skill or class he could awaken, so without thinking he raised their Agility and Sense to 25.
[The Shadow Raven has awakened a Class: Raven of Darkness.]
[Class: Raven of Darkness.]
| Skill 1 - Darkness Unleashed: Anyone who sees or senses it will be enveloped in sudden Darkness that emerges from their being: The Room of Darkness, causing them to fall at the mercy of Deceit and Deception.
| Unleashed Darkness: Duration 4 Seconds.
| Ability 2 - Deceit and Deception: All those trapped in The Room of Darkness are plunged into a continuous Battle Illusion and lose the ability to move. Once outside, they face the deception of realizing they are not fighting. They may be attacked during this time.
| Deceit and Deception: Duration up to 7 seconds, depending on the opponent’s strength.
[This Class can Evolve and obtain another or other abilities with the intervention of "The Awakener"].
Watching such a large and amazing class unfold in front of him for the first time completely stunned him.
’Something so great... Not only does it allow me to cast illusions, it even lets me blind my enemies, something crucial in a frontal battle.’
He hadn’t been wrong in wanting to get these kinds of special summons. They were just what he needed. Besides, being a raven, he could send it flying and thus serve as a perfect spy.
As he was so surprised, looking at the Class, he felt someone tap him on the shoulder.
"What are you looking at?" A curious, slightly high-pitched voice sounded in his left ear.
He jerked quickly, startled by that strange voice that echoed in his mind. No matter what, that didn’t belong to Jenna.
When he shook himself, the crow resting on his shoulder suddenly had to fly away.
"What are you supposed to do? You’re scaring me, you slug!" It flew quickly after screaming and landed on his shoulder again, trying to scold him.
But Elliot was too stunned, as was Jenna.
"You talked!?" Elliot exclaimed, as Jenna said:
"Did he speak!?"
The scream startled him again, but he was expecting it this time, so he lifted his raven chest proudly.
"Obvious. what do you take me for? I’m a worthy Shadow Raven, how can I not speak up? Only those idiots in there can’t because they lack level." He exclaimed proudly, displaying palpable arrogance and speech ability at an absurd level.
Despite his explanation, Elliot was still incredulous.
"You can not only understand us, but also talk to us? God..."
"Do you need to ask the obvious? I want you to know that, even though you are my master..." Raven suddenly felt himself floating, and his body shuddered.
He couldn’t finish speaking, for Elliot had grabbed him to investigate what was going on very well.
He needed to know if he had been so detailed that he made this one talk. If so, it would be a good idea to be just as detailed in creating his future summonings.
But he wasn’t.
He had not created vocal cords for it in detail. He had no vocal cords.
"Do you speak using energy as a transmitter?" he asked suddenly, but he had given the crow several turns, which made him somewhat dizzy, so it took him a while to answer.
"Yes... I use energy to talk." He replied, still dizzy.
"And why do you talk? Is it because you are a special summoning?"
"That may be." The raven finally came to his senses and looked at him. "I only know I can talk because I am the Shadow Raven."
Elliot nodded.
He frankly didn’t understand anything.
But if he could talk, something he longed for his summonings to do, it was a gift that came from heaven for him. Maybe these invocations could give him more information about who he really was.
For that, he felt more than satisfied.
"Then let’s do some tests with you. Let me see your abilities in action."
"Fine, but don’t be too surprised. I’ll tell you that I’m the smartest, most useful, and also strongest guy you’ll ever have. You should boost my strength. I’m awesome."
Elliot ignored his continued compliments to himself and prepared for the tests. Jenna had a lot of questions, but somehow she couldn’t ask them.
Maybe because she didn’t expect a beast to be able to talk.
She helped during the tests, and they tested the skills, the duration time, different ways to activate it, and so on.
It took him a while to test all that, until he was exhausted from so many tests and sent the Raven to rest.
They would talk soon.
He had finished making his summons, but he wasn’t completely finished.
There was the question: should he increase the stats of his summons or his own?
He was broke on stats. Although he had plenty until a few hours ago, he had a few left to add.
And the Leveled Leagues were coming up.
He knew that raising his stats was important, but it was also important with those of his summons, which were not very strong at present.
They were barely at the level to compete in a tournament of the stars; they couldn’t compete in the Leveled Leagues like that.
The minimum number of stat points there is usually 50 points.
It is not a local fight; it is a fight between cities.
Five coastal Cities are fighting for a local victory, which positions them well to participate in the Superior Leagues.
Although Loen City is one of the weakest, nobody knows who they will play. They could play against only contestants from Loen, or they could play against purely people from Agora or even Zargo City, both of which have very powerful people in their ranks.
