Chapter 1630: Chapter 1191: Use Him to Attack Him

"They’re all here, they’re all here. How did they all come? Is the Dimensional World going to collapse?" Negris suddenly panicked and shouted.

Anthony’s expression shifted, and he hurriedly asked, "Lord Nage, did the Power of the Prophet return to you?"

"Ah? No, that thing is too troublesome. Even if I got it back, I can’t use it. Ange kept it for himself," Negris replied.

Anthony let out a breath of relief, "That’s good. It’s not prophecy; you’re just guessing. I think it seems more like they’re here to fleece the God Star."

"Fleece the God Star? Ange summoned them to harness the power of the God Star?" Negris was startled.

Anthony nodded, "The lord is mingling, but the total consciousness of the God Star is still vast. Every additional independent consciousness slightly dilutes the God Star’s consciousness. If their numbers grow, the God Star can’t withstand such fleecing. We just need to watch and see if some unfamiliar consciousnesses appear."

"Unfamiliar consciousnesses? With billions of people in the Dimensional World, Ange wouldn’t summon everyone, would he?" Negris gasped in shock.

If it were just about fleecing, it didn’t sound concerning at first, as a few entities couldn’t do much. But the Dimensional World isn’t limited to just them; there are countless humans, Cowman Aunt, Uncle Dwarf, Elf Brother, Divine Cavemen, and more. Summoning billions of independent consciousnesses could indeed drain the God Star.

Sure enough, some unfamiliar or less familiar entities soon appeared, like dozens of beings entirely made of straw, wearing scarecrow hats. Upon manifestation, they turned into owls the moment they found themselves in the air.

"Who are they? Why do I feel they have a big connection with that Dragon’s Lackey adopted by Chun Feng?" Negris exclaimed.

Lightning answered, "That indeed is the Dragon’s Lackey, Little Bu. These are his people, the Scarecrow Tribe, enthusiasts of farming and bird-scaring, a new race skilled in Druid transformations. Impressive, right?"

"Hiss—he created a new race? That Dragon’s Lackey is that powerful?" Even Anthony was shocked.

To be called a new race, it must have an orderly lineage, stable (?), and sufficient numbers. It’s not something mere strength can create; it also requires wisdom and luck.

The Time-Space Ancient Dragon created the Giant Dragon Clan, yet they almost went extinct. It’s evident that such a feat isn’t easy.

"Ange’s Element Conversion is something he defined, and he has the ability to imbue ’intention’ into inanimate objects. Using these abilities well, he indeed might create a new race," Negris analyzed carefully. Little Bu’s abilities seemed almost born for creation.

"Mainly thanks to Lisa for raising him well. She taught him many things growing up. Now, the most powerful in the Druid line isn’t the Elf but the Scarecrow," Lightning remarked.

"I never imagined it; it seems they were summoned by Ange to fleece the God Star. But why can’t I see the Little Zombie? And Luther isn’t around, either," Negris scanned around. With everyone here to fleece the God Star, there was no reason Ange’s closest companion, the Little Zombie, wouldn’t be summoned.

"Over there," Anthony pointed. On the surface of the Light Ball, a figure was dog-paddling rapidly. As he moved, he dug a trench in the ’ground’ in front, with flames parting and not touching him.

Upon a closer look, it was the Little Zombie, becoming, after Ange, the second individual to stand on the scorching Light Ball’s surface. The others, after manifesting, floated into the air, making the aerial figures multiply.

"Don’t move, or I’ll slice off your head," a stern voice came from behind. Turning around, Luther held a sword, steadily poised against the neck of the Star Progeny Master.

"Luther!" Negris exclaimed in joy, astonished that while he wondered about Luther’s absence, he had silently approached behind the Star Progeny Master.

Luther raised an eyebrow proudly, "Lord Nage, Lord Anthony, greetings. I noticed this guy seemed defensive, so I figured he was an enemy. I’ve captured him."

Negris chuckled wryly, "Though you’re skilled, this is a Consciousness Space, and we’re mere manifestations of consciousness, ’imagined.’ Even if you slice off his head, it wouldn’t harm him."

"Consciousness Space? ’Imagined’?" Luther looked bewildered, seemingly not understanding what it meant.

The Star Progeny Master was initially indifferent to Luther’s sword on his neck. Seeing Luther’s confusion, however, he pressed his neck towards the blade, letting the longsword cut into his neck, then grinned at Luther.

Luther seemingly jumped in shock, releasing the longsword as if electrocuted. As the Star Progeny Master conceived a chance to turn the game around, Luther suddenly spat at him, "Pah."

The Star Progeny Master instinctively flinched back, almost simultaneously, as Luther’s Energy Sword pierced into his eye socket.

"Ah—" the Star Progeny Master howled and retreated madly.

Luther and Lightning burst into uproarious laughter, even excitedly clapping each other’s hands, disregarding Negris’s and Anthony’s shock: "How did you manage to hit him?"

"Hahaha... do you think our Poisonous Beast Mercenary Group is a joke? We’ve ambushed many in the House of the Deceased," Lightning boasted with hands on hips.

Calming after the surge of pride, Luther explained quietly, "It wasn’t me who hit him, but ’he’ hit him. Lightning hinted earlier, saying he’d ’freak out dirty things.’ And the so-called Consciousness Space is likely similar to the House of the Deceased, where you can insult but not physically fight."

"But, Lord Nage, have you heard of phantom limb pain? In the House of the Deceased, if you cut off someone’s little... as long as it feels real enough, they’ll be impotent for a long time in reality."

"When I spat at him, he instinctively dodged, allowing me a direct hit. He was already in an instinctive dodging motion. Getting pierced added to the sense of realism; he thought he was struck, thus he was injured."

Anthony and Negris were left dumbfounded, "Is that possible? Using his ’belief’ to attack him?"

"Indeed, it works. His perception physicalizes the attack, harming him through his belief. Remarkable," Anthony couldn’t help but be amazed.

The collective wisdom indeed knows no bounds. Who would’ve thought Lightning and Luther could comprehend a way to attack others in the Consciousness Space? This might be the key to Ange winning the consciousness battle.

Just as this thought arose, a giant face suddenly appeared on the Consciousness Light Ball, yelling in terror and disgust, "Get out, get out, everyone out!!!"

Everything turned blank, and with flickering glows, it felt like they were retreating rapidly toward a point.
