Chapter 1597: Chapter 1158: Were They Robbed at Home?
If Emre had said something different, the Little Angel might not have been this angry. Go home? The king had gone through great trouble to summon her here, and she hadn’t even finished her battle—go home already? Furious!
"Aooo!" The Little Angel shouted loudly.
From Ange’s right hand, the Little Ghost poked out its small head and tilted to one side: Yaaaa—Yaaa—
On top of Ange’s head, the Little Sapling stretched out its leaves: Yip—Yaaa—Yip—Yaaa—
The Little Ghost quickly bent its ’arms,’ assuming a charging pose: Yaya-yaya-yaya—Yaya-yaya—
The Little Sapling waved its True Leaf: Grow—strive—grow—strive—
From Ange’s left hand, Kram poked his head out, looked left and right, and asked blankly, "What’s happening? Has the Star Progeny Master arrived? Is there danger?"
Kram was a bit flustered. It was just a bunch of Fierce Spirits, one human Sword Saint, and some human airships—why were the Little Ghost and Little Sapling so excited?
Kram himself was Plane Consciousness, on the same tier of existence as the Little Ghost and Little Sapling. In this Void, aside from the Star Progeny Master, there shouldn’t be any enemy requiring them to act together.
But the problem was, the Star Progeny Master was nowhere in sight. Why were these two little ones moving into action? Could there be danger he had missed?
Negris explained, "Ange’s daughter. Biological."
Kram, lacking any concept of biological daughters, was even more confused upon hearing this. Negris had to switch to another angle: "She’s their playmate. If disobedient, she’ll be punished."
Kram’s eyes nearly bulged out. Punished? She could punish the Little Ghost and Little Sapling? That strong?
Rolling his eyes twice, Kram extended both hands and sneakily mimicked the gestures of the two small ones.
Clink, clink, clink. Piece by piece, tangible Angel Holy Armor locked into place on the Little Angel. Upon the armor, besides the Holy Light Pattern, was an additional layer bearing Kram’s imprint.
This imprint resembled the surface of that massive iron sphere. After stacking it on, the entire Holy Armor radiated a metallic sheen, icy to the touch and extraordinarily solid at first glance.
After the imprint was added, the Holy Light Holy Flame around the Little Angel instantly extinguished. An uninformed observer might think she’d been sealed, but the Little Angel knew it wasn’t. Curious, she glanced down at the imprints, then refocused her gaze on Emre.
Finally, a few green vine tendrils extended along the Holy Armor’s engravings, encasing it in a vibrant green edge teeming with life force.
Several questions spun in Emre’s mind. First, why was the Little Angel so furious? Second, why had her presence suddenly diminished? Third, what was the deal with this armor?
He wasn’t naive enough to think the Little Angel had given up fighting. Her stance clearly said otherwise.
Summoning strength, Emre channeled his Battle Qi into his longsword, which immediately began to emit visible energy waves. Beyond the visible energy, a layer of invisible force also enveloped Emre and his sword.
Gripping his sword with both hands, Emre swung forward, and the invisible force dragged him like a spear, direct and piercing toward the Little Angel—Swordsman Charge!
Anthony adjusted his monocle and exclaimed, "Such strong Origin Power—he’s not human?"
Upon hearing Anthony’s words, Duroken, Silver Coin, and others who couldn’t perceive Origin Power through naked eyes also adjusted their monocles. Shocked, they exclaimed, "Indeed—such strong Origin Power! So dazzling! What’s happening?"
The dazzling light of the Origin Power emanating from Emre rivaled that of Ange’s. However, this didn’t mean Emre’s Origin Power matched Ange’s but rather was due to a flaw in the monocle device.
The monocle couldn’t directly observe Origin Power. It inferred its existence through the shimmering light triggered by Origin Power activation.
If the Origin Power were concentrated in one spot, one would see only a pinpoint of light. But when expanded across the body, it caused the entire figure to radiate intensity.
Therefore, the amount of light couldn’t indicate the strength of Origin Power. Conversely, a lesser light output might suggest advanced control and contained Origin Power.
But from another perspective, being able to envelop oneself in Origin Power signified one as among the best humans—most swordsmen only contained sparse traces within their Battle Qi, appearing more like Flame Aura.
Only those like Ange, Red Star Walker Ulsman, or figures possessing the tiered sub-Origin of star god-like bodies—such as North Corona and South Coronet—could display full-bodied radiance at maximum effort. Hence, Anthony speculated if the swordsman were truly human.
"Indeed, so dazzling. Ange, would it be better to caution the Little Angel?" Negris asked.
The question made Ange pause briefly, then he swiftly shook his head, almost pleading: "No, no, no, no..."
The Monarch couldn’t help but scoff, "What an absurd question. Three beings of Origin-level power supporting her—she’d be fine even if this Void collapsed."
True, the Little Ghost might technically be a god, but as the God of Light, it had traversed across the Boundless Space Hole, granting it power even denser than the Origin itself; Kram, being Plane Consciousness, carried equivalently deep reserves of strength.
Adding the Little Sapling, the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms, she was protected by three titans. Likely, only Ange present could land a hit on her.
But the remarkable thing? The Little Angel could command them. Anyone else wanting the trio’s protection? Dream on.
Watching Emre charge forward, the Little Angel didn’t flinch, swinging her staff directly to intercept.
Clang! Sword met staff; Emre felt smashed by a mountain. Though he managed to block the staff, the sheer impact sent him flying.
"How... how is this possible?" Emre gawked, alternating shakes of his numb hands while inspecting the notch on his sword blade.
This level of power clash had exceeded the endurance of the divine longsword in his hands. Yes, this longsword was indeed a divine artifact blessed by the Goddess of Dawn.
He had purchased this from the Silver Chamber of Commerce. Its primary component was the Dragon Pattern Steel Core Mithril Inlay Magic Rune Covered Earth Forged Gemstone Enhanced Piercing Enchantment Two-Handed Sword, later blessed by the Goddess of Dawn and coated with Crystal Stone—his sole weapon capable of channeling his full power. Yet now, it had fractured?
Noticing the chipped sword, Silver Coin recognized it immediately: "Huh? That sword belongs to our production?"
"What? Our production? Something I made? Why don’t I remember?" Duroken instinctively pointed at himself.
"Nope—the steel came from Walker’s forge. He’s the chief magician for the Sorcerer Alliance. A blacksmith shaped the blade into various designs and types, got it blessed by Dawn, and then plated it with colorful Crystal Stone as divine-quality merchandise. A single unit costs a million Demon Crystals. Sales are doing well," Silver Coin explained.
No one responded aloud, but internally everyone echoed two words: crooks!
The Goddess of Dawn presided over matrimony—what good was her so-called blessing? Wishing you luck getting a wife?
Even so, this bogus divine artifact was still the best available weapon on the market. Originally, Emre was quite satisfied, but now he wasn’t keen to rely on it. Raising his voice, he roared, "Victory is invincible—my body is undefeatable—Star God Possession!"
Behind him, void ranks shifted as airships pressed forward, and everyone aboard stood united at decks and windows, chanting in unison: "Victory is invincible—my body is undefeatable!"
Faraway, the Star Progeny Master wore a grave look, while nearby, Anthony burst into laughter: "Pfft... aren’t those guys with the Celestial Descendant Clan? What happened? Did their base get raided?"
