Chapter 1343 - Chapter 1343 Chapter 904 Im Okay
Chapter 1343: Chapter 904: I’m Okay Chapter 1343: Chapter 904: I’m Okay Little Bone and Emil turned to look, and saw several women, similarly cradling laundry buckets, who, upon seeing Little Bone and Emil turn their heads, hurriedly cast meaningful and silent glances their way.
Dressed in the impressive Holy Armor, the tall and imposing Little Bone, along with Emil who had once been cleansed by the Purify Face Technique, were indeed eye-catching. At least in a barren place like Harvest Country, it was rare to see such striking individuals, inadvertently stirring a wave of spring yearnings.
To save on teleportation expenses, Negris had transformed into the Yellow Mud Book and was being carried in Little Bone’s hands. He merely scanned the situation with his thoughts and roughly guessed what was going on, and he couldn’t help but let out a wry laugh.
Not caring to deal with the women whose hearts fluttered with infatuation, Negris’s thoughts focused on the woman who said, “Give me light,” with some hesitation, identifying her, “Shamara?”
This woman resembled Shamara but had an expressionless face, her eyes vacant, not like those of a normal person. She was dirty, her hair tangled, as if she hadn’t bathed for many days.
At the moment, she was staring blankly at Emil. When Negris’s thoughts swept over her, she turned to look at the Yellow Mud Book, seemingly sensing Negris’s intention.
“How pitiful, what happened? Why are you acting dumb?” Negris manifested in his Bronze Dragon form, flew in front of Shamara, and asked.
A flicker of confusion passed through Shamara’s lackluster eyes, but quickly dimmed again as she murmured, “Can you give me light?”
“Emil, come here, give her light,” Negris called out.
“Huh? Give her light? How? I don’t know how,” Emil said, puzzled.
“Aren’t you a Divine Envoy? Use your Divine Power,” Negris exclaimed in surprise.
He didn’t know how Ange had come to know Emil, only that he was the anchor for Ange’s projection, capable of wielding Ange’s powers.
Emil agonized over what to do, clueless about how to be a Divine Envoy and having never been taught by anyone, except for Little Bone who had taught him to say “Lord, help me.” Should he really shout that? It was so embarrassing.
“Lord, help me,” Emil whispered softly.
As soon as Negris heard him, he immediately recognized Emil’s level, which was at least as ‘capable’ as Anthony’s, and said irritably, “Say it louder and with more conviction. Without firm belief, are you still hoping for the Lord to help you?”
Emil took a deep breath, clenched his teeth, and shouted resolutely, “Lord, help me! Please grant me light!”
As he called out, a figure of light emerged from him, looked around, its gaze falling on Shamara. It tilted its head and then extended a finger to touch Shamara’s forehead before quickly retracting.
Shamara jolted all over, the vacancy in her eyes gradually dissipated, replaced by clarity and surprise.
Her gaze swept over Little Bone and Emil and finally settled on Negris, her brow furrowed involuntarily, as many memories surged in her mind.
“How about it? Remember who I am? Remember who you are? How many fingers are here?” Negris gestured with his fingers towards Shamara.
“Two,” Shamara replied.
Negris counted his fingers, first the two extended ones, then the two bent ones: “One two three four, four fingers. That’s it, you’ve become dull.”
Shamara immediately glared, the familiar scene allowing her to recall who the despicable dragon before her was: “Lord Nage!”
“Remember now? Then do you remember who you are?” Negris’s mischievous pleasure was immensely satisfied, and he continued to ask with a smirk.
“Who am I? Am I Shamara… Shamara? No, no, I am Luna? No, Shamara, no, Luna, Shamara, Luna…” Pain once again contorted Shamara’s face into a mask of agony, her expression shifting rapidly from icy indifference to purity to hesitation.
Negris slapped her waist and understood why Shamara had become foolish–it wasn’t a single consciousness residing in her, but two. Her identity with Luna had long been inseparable, so after rebirth, the conflict of consciousnesses rendered her somewhat dazed and foolish.
Her foolishness made her an attractive target, provoking the envy of others who would verbally abuse her with little provocation.
However, observing the women who only dared to jeer from a distance, none brave enough to approach, and seeing no scars on Shamara’s body, it seemed clear that even in her foolish state, she was not to be trifled with–a fool’s blow can be unexpectedly painful.
As Shamara’s expression fluctuated, Little Bone suddenly stepped forward and grasped her arm, with Soul Flames springing forth from his hand, spreading over Shamara’s body.
Wherever the Soul Flame passed, it solidified rapidly into armor plates, covering her body and swiftly spreading until the Soul Flame armored into a form-fitting suit of black Soul Armor.
No sooner had the Soul Armor taken shape, it transformed back into Soul Flame, behind Shamara a face began to take form.
Only then did Negris realize what Little Bone was up to, “Are you creating a body for Luna’s consciousness?”
Little Bone nodded.
“Why use Holy Light then, why the Soul Flame?” Negris asked, puzzled.
“I don’t know how,” Little Bone retorted with bold righteousness.
“Pfft–you,” Negris was exasperated with these comrades, one after another hardly reliable–Little Angel, Little Zombie, and now Little Bone were all the same. Ange was the God of Balance, and his underling didn’t even know Holy Light?
Though it wasn’t Holy Light, the Soul Flame could still carry Luna’s consciousness; the hesitant face that had formed seemed to remember something, speaking uncertainly, “Lord Nage? Where is this? Why have I turned dark, what have you done to me?”
Negris explained the situation.
“We’re in Dimensional Space? We’ve reborn inside Dimensional Space?” Shamara began to remember more.
“Yes, Ange sent us to find everyone and restore their memories. How do you feel now? How much have you remembered?” Negris inquired.
Shamara brought her hands to her face, palms shining with a holy light, she rubbed vigorously, exclaiming, “I remember now, I remember everything.”
When Shamara removed her hands from her face, the previously dirtied face had vanished, replaced by a smooth, fair, and tender complexion.
Then, her palms ran through her hair, which regained its softness and suppleness, and as they swept over her clothes, the garments became instantly clean as if powerfully washed.
Having completed all this, Shamara said, “Lord Nage, please wait a moment for me. I need to deal with some private matters.”
With that, she turned and walked towards the women who had mocked her earlier.
Those women were already stunned by the incredible transformations before them, whether it was Holy Light or the Soul Armor Transformation. They were lost for words at the sight of the previously foolish Shamara, who seemed like a completely different person.
Shamara confronted them, unleashing a barrage of punches, making them wail and howl, Luna’s solidified form even kicked a few times before Shamara returned, refreshed and clear-headed, “I’m done.”
“Then let’s go. I didn’t expect to find you first; that’s great. Is your Predictive Ability still functional? Where should we go first for good fortune to unfold?” Negris asked with anticipation.
