Chapter 1284 - Chapter 1284 Chapter 847 Its Coming at Me Come Save Me
Chapter 1284: Chapter 847: It’s Coming at Me, Come Save Me Chapter 1284: Chapter 847: It’s Coming at Me, Come Save Me No one had ever explored what a Primordial God was, but those known to be primordial were few, including Void Will, Hole Bug, Abyssal Big Mouth, Dark Origin, Time-Space Ancient Dragon, Undead Ruler…
The powers held by Void Will were unclear, but Abyssal Big Mouth had mastered Devour; Dark Origin had mastered the secrets of the Dark Element; Time-Space Ancient Dragon had mastered the mysteries of time; Hole Bug had mastered the secrets of space; Undead Ruler had mastered the secrets of cutting people down.
These were the fundamental powers of the Void, and people had become accustomed to them, just as they had become accustomed to the Power of Devour of Abyssal Big Mouth. If it were not for its attraction, all unanchored objects would float into the sky.
However, when the Power of Devour became strong enough, it would transform into an abyss that devoured everything.
And now, a Primordial God who had mastered the fundamental power of the Void–Dark Origin–had become a supersized node in the Soul Network for Ange’s people, continuously transferring Soul Energy into Ange’s soul.
A single node of Soul Flame from Dark Origin exceeded all the Soul Flames of the subjects under Ange’s command, only when combined with the Faith Elemental Force from the Church of Light and the indirect gains from the God of Farming could they barely match Dark Origin.
“This… this is outrageous. You are the sole deity of nearly a billion people across two planes, yet you can’t match a single Dark Origin? You must have heard wrong,” Negris doubted what he heard.
Ange shook his head. It truly was that much; he felt his Divine Power replenishing at a doubled rate. The new source was the node from Dark Origin.
“Ah, it’s a pity it’s not very useful. It’s not doubling the upper limit of Divine Power, just the replenishment rate. You already can’t use up your Divine Power. Even if it’s faster, you still won’t be able to use it all–it’s meaningless,” Negris quickly moved from shock to regret.
Indeed, Ange already couldn’t use up his Divine Power, even if he kept the Instant Death Halo active, maintained the Dragon God Transformation, and occasionally threw a Goddess of Beauty Fist.
Now, as the lord of two realms, the sole deity of a billion followers in two planes, even the atheist wizards of Stellaris had to eat, right? As long as the food was derived from the crops sown by Ange, it would indirectly contribute Faith Elemental Force to him.
Apart from Faith Elemental Force, Ange also had a vast Soul Network, with a continuous flow of Soul Energy; he never worried about running out of Divine Power.
Ange hadn’t felt his Divine Power being drained in a long time, so having more Soul Flame was pointless.
After integrating with a Dark Energy Orb, Little Dark Source became enormously large, and although it was incomprehensible to compare with the vastness of beings like Iron Scale Cleaner, the pressure was even greater because it was an energy mass–it could explode.
Standing beside a constantly erupting volcano felt completely different from standing beside a pond.
To avoid causing oppression to everyone, Little Dark Source sent an avatar flying over and said, “Thanks to my master sealing my memory, Void Will couldn’t access my memory or merge with my Origin, so it created another consciousness, trying to merge with my Origin and then plunder it. It didn’t realize I was still alive.”
“Oh~ So that’s what happened.” Abyssal Big Mouth and Anthony instantly realized; they wondered why it didn’t go according to the plan. It turned out that the plan of Void Will had failed.
The plan everyone had made was based on the assumption of Void Will’s success. If Void Will had successfully merged with the power of Dark Origin, then Little Dark Source could trigger the fallback plan left in his body to end with Void Will.
Unexpectedly, Void Will failed and couldn’t merge with Dark Origin. The Primordial Body became a mess, reverting to a pure state of the Dark Element, and the fallback plans of Dark Origin naturally failed.
This change had good and bad sides; it was good that Void Will couldn’t merge with its power, but it also lost the rare chance to end along with Void Will.
Such an opportunity was extremely rare; no one knew where Void Will was at any given time, and catching its true form was nearly impossible. Only during the merger would there be such a rare opportunity.
Little Dark Source was initially in despair, embracing the idea of ending with it. It was initially frustrated for not catching Void Will but then decided it didn’t want to live since it had lost its Primordial Body.
But now it felt fortunate; thankfully, it hadn’t died. Ange had somehow reclaimed its Primordial Body for it.
“My Primordial Body was formed from the purest Dark Element. After the fusion failed, it reverted back to a chaotic Dark Element. When we returned, the new consciousness had become much stronger than me. I couldn’t compete with it, and while struggling, it suddenly awakened the Absolute Dark Realm, trapping me and Locke inside.”
“Dark consumes endlessly everything. Locke held up the Annihilation Boundary, dispelling the darkness, but there was too much darkness–it became a kind of consumption, and eventually, all the energy was exhausted. I couldn’t compete with the new consciousness and could do nothing but watch in desperation until a Dark Elemental Spear suddenly pierced through, stabbing into Locke.”
“This Dark Elemental Spear had a peculiar property. It didn’t blend with the surrounding Dark Element, yet it felt familiar to me. I felt I could control it and indeed…”
At this point, everyone knew what had happened next–it was Ange’s Holy Dark Element at work.
“Now that Void Will has failed to merge with my power, it will certainly choose the most extreme method to achieve rebirth,” Little Dark Source said.
“What extreme method?” Negris asked.
“Destroying the entire Void,” Little Dark Source mentioned.
Negris and Anthony looked at each other. “You might not know being trapped here, but the Void is collapsing. All planes are moving toward the Chaos Plane, and some planes have already collided here. Without Void Will doing anything, the Void is being destroyed.”
“Ah? Has it begun already? So soon?” exclaimed Little Dark Source.
Negris nodded.
Little Dark Source muttered in realization, “So it has already started, then there’s not much time left. Void Will will definitely resort to even more extreme methods, killing all the Ancient Gods and plundering their powers. If Void Will takes action itself, no Ancient God can escape its pursuit.”
Anthony frowned, “Then we must hurry back to the shelter. Now, where the Ancient Gods are most numerous in the entire Void, if Void Will goes to extremes, it will definitely target the shelter.”
The group quickly headed towards the direction of the shelter. After travelling for a while, Abyssal Big Mouth suddenly stopped, looking dejected, and said, “It didn’t go to the shelter.”
“How do you know?” Negris asked in surprise.
“It’s coming for me. Hurry, come save me.” After dropping these words, Abyssal Big Mouth’s entire form began to dissipate, willingly abandoning a perfectly good avatar, indicating the urgency of the situation.
