Chapter 1299: Chapter 1299: Teaching You How to Serve a Man
The woman lowered her head, her eyes filled with panic, like a little deer trapped and uneasy.
In his presence, she was always uncomfortable.
She fidgeted with her hands in front of her, listening intently to his orders, for fear of upsetting him again.
"We’re out of wine!" Joe Heath shook his glass, "Go to the wine shelf and bring a bottle of Lafite over, and be quick."
"Young Master, it’s very late. Do you still want to drink?" she couldn’t help but ask.
"Since when is it your turn to manage my affairs? Perhaps you’ve been living too comfortably in my house, and are looking to experience the taste of the northwestern wind outside?"
"No, I’ll go get it," Melody Xylas said, flustered.
"Wait," Melody’s expression piqued his interest, his gaze landing on her pajamas, "Who taught you to wear such a seductive color to tempt people? My dad? Or my mom?"
"I bought it myself; it has nothing to do with them," Melody lowered her head.
"Melody, if you want to learn how to seduce, come to me, and I’ll teach you hands-on," Joe Heath looked at her with amusement, "Afterward, you can lure any type of man you want, with guaranteed success."
"I’m going out to get the wine."
With panicky haste, Melody turned around. She was now living in Joe Heath’s house, and although she rarely saw him, whenever she did, he never had a pleasant expression for her.
If it weren’t for a car accident that took both her parents, she would never have lived this dependent life.
It wasn’t long before Melody returned with the wine.
She seemed to have just taken a bath, her body carrying a faint scent of shower gel that wafted through the air and into Joe Heath’s nostrils.
"Pour it," Joe Heath said, holding his glass and lazily leaning against the bed’s headrest.
"Hmm."
Melody carefully removed the cork.
"Tsk tsk, such tender skin," Joe Heath commented, pinching her arm.
"Young Master!" Melody was startled and stepped back a few paces, looking fearfully at Joe Heath.
"Scared like that? Do I look like I eat people?"
"No," Melody hastily poured the wine for Joe Heath, set down the bottle, and was eager to leave.
Joe Heath was always cool towards her, but today he suddenly started making advances.
"Stop, did I say you could leave?" Joe suddenly took interest, his gaze playing over her.
Melody was stuck, not knowing whether to go or stay, lifting her watery eyes to look at him.
"Come and serve me," Joe Heath swayed the stemmed glass in his hand.
Melody shook her head fiercely: "I can’t do it."
"I can teach you, teach you how to serve a man," Joe Heath said, putting down his glass and pulling her towards him.
Melody’s complexion changed as she fell into his arms, "Young Master, please don’t, it’s late, it’s time to rest."
"How can I rest without someone to warm my bed? I can’t sleep," Joe Heath lifted her chin, a smirk at the corner of his eye.
Perhaps it was the alcohol, but he thought Melody’s face seemed prettier than before, losing the greenness of youth, and acquiring a seductive charm.
He seldom returned to the Heath residence, and had never really taken a good look at this woman.
But now, upon closer inspection, she wasn’t bad looking.
"Young Master, please don’t..." Melody’s face changed, and she pushed hard against Joe Heath.
"Sss..." Accidentally, Joe Heath’s arm was scratched by her fingernail, leaving a lengthy scratch.
With a frown and a cold laugh, Joe Heath said, "Quite the temper. My parents aren’t home today. I can bully you however I want. You want to play wild and scratch me?"
