Chapter 1203: Chapter 1203: Full of Problems, Spoiled

Jasmine Yale obediently went to the bathroom, while Sylvan Cheney stepped out onto the balcony for a smoke.

When she came out dressed, she saw him still smoking.

Jasmine’s brows furrowed, "You forbid me from smoking, yet you’re heavily into it yourself. Aren’t you afraid of dying young?"

There were already several cigarette butts in the ashtray.

He smiled, extinguished the cigarette butt, and walked towards her.

"You can’t learn from me," he said, ruffling her hair.

"Over the years, all my habits have been learned from you. When you smoke in front of me, of course I have to follow."

She had indeed always followed his instructions, such as eating politely, speaking softly, and not arguing with others...

Although sometimes she didn’t do well and would defy him, at least her habits were somewhat influenced by him.

Whether she admitted it or not, this man was an influence on her entire life.

"Why haven’t I seen you pick up any of my good traits, huh?"

"What good traits? You’re full of flaws, spoiled," Jasmine mimicked his tone, snorting coldly.

Sylvan Cheney laughed even harder.

His handsome face was relaxed and warm, like uncarved jade, clean and elegant.

Jasmine noticed that he had been in a particularly good mood these past few days.

Unusual...

"Let’s go downstairs for breakfast," Sylvan Cheney said, taking her hand.

They walked shoulder to shoulder downstairs.

The servants at the Cheney Residence seemed used to this scene; at first, they had been surprised since Mr. Cheney had never brought any woman home.

Sylvan Cheney was genuinely in a good mood today, gallantly getting her breakfast, pulling out a chair, and having her sit beside him.

While eating her bread, Jasmine joked, "I’m leaving, aren’t you relieved? No one to nag and ask you questions anymore."

Sylvan Cheney didn’t speak, just silently handed her some yogurt.

"Actually, you don’t need to take me to the airport. I can just take a cab; it won’t waste your time."

"My time isn’t that precious."

"Oh? Then take me."

Jasmine didn’t argue.

She knew this man’s temperament; once he decided something, he wouldn’t change it.

He was hot-tempered, and she was stubborn.

"When I get to Cakago, I hope you keep your promise not to come," said Jasmine softly, head down as she sliced her bread, "and definitely don’t do anything like casually entering someone’s apartment, especially when drunk."

"Um."

"Don’t just ’um’ me. I need an answer from you. What kind of attitude is that? I want you to clearly tell me that you won’t see me again, ever!"

Jasmine was a bit angry, her face flushed red.

It was always like this, unclear.

Sylvan Cheney looked up, his gaze landing on her face.

Daring to yell at him? He’s not one to be taken lightly.

"Are you going to clarify?" Jasmine pressed on.

"The attitude couldn’t have been clearer, do I need to repeat it?" Sylvan Cheney responded calmly.

"Yes, say it again. Don’t just decide to amuse yourself with me when you feel like it; I’m not your happy little plaything. I’m not!"

"From now on, I won’t go to Cakago on my own initiative and even if I do, I won’t look for you. Okay?"

"Okay."

Jasmine lowered her head again and didn’t ask any more.

Sylvan Cheney’s face darkened as he watched her, almost wanting to crush her.

Bristling so fiercely.

Truly formidable.

Riceball scampered around their feet, rarely seeing Jasmine and bonding even more with her.
