Chapter 863: Chapter 554 Lady Strategy’s First Chosen_2

With the scale of the Conqueror Army, their presence would cause a tremendous upheaval anywhere they went, especially for the neighboring powers that were their intended destination. They paid greater attention, knowing that the arrival of the army would have a substantial impact on the local situation.

Although this was one of his strategic goals, Gaven still responded with a chuckle, "August Inquisitor always knows how to flatter. I am merely searching for a new home for those who’ve suffered the ravages of war, and I hadn’t anticipated stirring up such great waves. Particularly here, we are in a predicament. Other cities see us as invaders, but we cannot ignore the situation in Efanso. Now that the devout followers of the gods of justice have come to support us, I believe our circumstances will improve."

"Others may not trust you, but we do. This time, the Monastery of the Just Hammer will fight alongside you to eradicate this evil once and for all," Darnell proclaimed, raising his Sunrise Warhammer aloft.

"Good," Gaven replied without false courtesy, nodding emphatically.

Veranika couldn’t help but step forward and say, "We were going to wait until the battle officially started to surprise you, Lord. But seeing the strong reinforcements you’ve already received, we can no longer wait. Please, give us a moment."

After speaking, Veranika cast a Teleportation Spell and vanished. Within seconds, an oval-shaped portal appeared where she had been standing, and heavy armored cavalry clad in blood-red armor atop blood-red horses charged out, fifty in total. Their numbers were few, but no one dared to underestimate them, for they were the Red Falcon Knights, the foundation of Lady Strategy’s forces, and each possessed transcendent strength.

The last to emerge were two figures on two mounts, one of them naturally being Veranika, while the other wore fully sealed blood-red armor identical to the Goddess of Strategy’s, her stern eyes and sensual red lips the only features visible, distinguishing her as a human of regular stature rather than the larger Giant form of the Goddess of Strategy.

Gaven didn’t need an introduction and quickly paid his respects, "It is an honor to meet you, Ms. Katherine. I had planned to visit the Fortress of Strategy to discuss the establishment of the Yin Hong War Academy after the situation here was resolved. To have you personally present is unexpected. With your support, there is no reason why we cannot win this battle."

This was none other than Ms. Katherine Yandor Blood-Eagle, the mortal vessel of the Transcendent Red Knight after her descent in Felen. Formerly the embodiment of the Saint of the Goddess of Strategy, and although most of the Divine Nature Force was withdrawn as the Goddess transcended to godhood, even the residual portion left behind was extremely beneficial for a mortal.

The first Chosen of the Goddess of Strategy, now a legend herself and possessing a Transcendent Body, was enveloped in a powerful magic every move she made.

Gaven didn’t need to assess her; her attributes were evidently transcendent in all six categories. Unlike him, who acquired his strength purely through Special Abilities, she had genuinely achieved transcendence, akin to the Six-Armed Snake Demon.

Her equipment too was opulent, all her gear being at least +3 or higher in Magic Equipment, especially the broadsword in her hand and the shield made of clear glass—it was certainly Divine Artifact, likely weapons used by the Goddess of Strategy before her formal Divine Enthronement.

Before accessing his Transcendent Body, Gaven had thought such a level was extremely rare to achieve, but in just one short month, he had encountered it time and again.

Now it seemed not that such abilities were scarce, but rather that he himself had lacked the strength and status to come into contact with such monstrous existences previously.

"One does not declare victory before the battle; if you don’t understand such a simple truth, you would disappoint the lady who holds you in high regard," Katherine said in a low, husky voice, magnetic and sharing a seventy to eighty percent similarity to the Goddess of Strategy’s.

Due to long periods of synchrony between one human and one god, their souls had become significantly aligned—a dominance naturally held by the Goddess of Strategy, with Katherine being most influenced. It was no coincidence that many followers of the Goddess of Strategy revered Katherine as the spokeswoman of the Goddess in Felen.

Hearing the familiar voice, Gaven felt a bit uneasy, recalling that his first encounter with the Goddess of Strategy had been rather unique, and he wondered if the woman before him, so closely related to the Goddess, knew of it. He surmised that such privy affairs were likely not something the Goddess of Strategy would proclaim widely.

Clearing the jumble of thoughts from his mind, Gaven nodded earnestly, "Your reprimand is just, my lady. I had become a bit overconfident. Even if the enemy is weak, we should still pay full attention, to ensure they don’t turn the tables in desperation."

"Whether it’s my visiting you or you visiting me, it makes no difference. Now that I’m here, let us finalize the affairs of the Yin Hong War Academy," Katherine said surprisingly straightforwardly, getting straight to the point.

"Even if we’re in a hurry, there’s no need to stand here and talk. Let’s go to the caravan, sit down, and discuss things at length. I’ll also give you a tour of our caravan," Gaven couldn’t help but say with a smile.

Katherine glanced over at Darnell and Aidan, then nodded, "That would be good."

With Veranika present, whether it be her or the lady above them, they knew the Conqueror Army’s situation like the back of their hand, including Veranika’s participation in each military council.
