Though it was already deep into the night, the lights were still blazing, the sounds of people’s laughter, cries of helplessness, anger, and sorrow from slaves, the noise from the sailors fighting and frolicking, all mixed together.

Sailor, slaver, pirate—each profession when pulled out individually is high-risk, let alone a combination thereof. It was risk upon risk.

Most of the time, it wasn’t the extreme criminals who chose this profession, but rather the profession that created countless extremely evil individuals. This was a Blue Dragon Dragonborn, evident from his azure Dragon Scales and the pointed horns on his forehead. His body was as tall and sturdy as a Half-Giant, at least two meters thirty in height, with an indescribably haughty demeanor.

He wasn’t sitting inside the mast’s crow’s nest but on the mast itself, holding a bottle of strong liquor, drinking by himself.

Dragons are solitary creatures, especially Blue Dragons, who are quintessentially so. They like to dwell in remote deserts, far from most other creatures, surrounded by sand dunes and solitude.

Dragonborn tended to greatly inherit the racial temperament of their Giant Dragon Maternal Tribe, even to a more extreme extent, because Giants could still find their own kind, but Dragonborn could not.

Even though this Dragonborn had joined the Petrified Lizard’s Slave Traders Group, it didn’t mean he would become part of them; it was merely a temporary job initiated by his clan’s needs. As soon as he was no longer required, he would leave without hesitation.
