Chapter 742 - 515 Six-armed Snake Demon Nightshadow_3

Chapter 742: Chapter 515 Six-armed Snake Demon Nightshadow_3

These Noble Giant Trolls did not become Troll Nightshades, but rather formed the established Nightshadow version—Shadow Walker Nightshadow.

One possessed eighteen Life Dice, two possessed sixteen, and the remaining three each possessed fifteen Life Dice; this was related to the relative strength and weakness of the troll souls that constituted them.

Therefore, the abilities of these Shadow Walker Nightshadows were to a certain extent weakened and not as powerful as those of the Legendary Life Dice Shadow Walker Nightshadows.

After completing their transformation, Gaven did not continue to seek new targets, but returned to the side of the Six-armed Snake Demon to observe her condition; she was the main event.

She did not disappoint Gaven’s expectations, and was not transformed into a uniform Shadow Walker Nightshadow.

Instead, she became a Six-armed Snake Demon Nightshadow, still possessing the same physique and appearance as when alive, but now composed of Negative Energy.

In the instant of her transformation, Gaven eagerly examined her attributes and, despite being somewhat prepared, still couldn’t help but take a sharp intake of breath. She retained all of the common attributes of a Nightshadow, at the same time, she possessed a vast number of abilities that normal Nightshadows did not, the quantity of which nearly equaled that of the Nightshadow’s.

Being transformed into a Nightshadow, the Six-armed Snake Demon had gains and losses.

The largest loss was naturally the Transcendent Body special ability.

Transcendent Body is intended for corporeal bodies; Nightshadows are Undead Creatures, completely composed of Negative Energy, and therefore do not even have a Constitution attribute, naturally making this ability impossible to retain.

On the flip side, the twelve distinct traits of a Nightshadow were birthed due to being composed of Negative Energy. When seriously considered, the trade-off wasn’t too disadvantageous, at least the Damage Reduction trait was stronger than the Transcendent Body.

The only significantly impacted aspect was her once terrifying speed being greatly reduced, but the impact wasn’t too substantial. If it wasn’t for Gaven first restricting her teleportation ability, she usually relied on it to traverse the battlefield, not purely on speed.

The reduction in Life Force was also due to this reason. When in her corporeal form, the Six-armed Snake Demon had at least two hundred points of Life Force.

As for the Six-armed Snake Demon’s own abilities, there is not much need for elaboration; they are all straightforward. Whether it’s Special Abilities or Feats, they are all focused in one direction, taking the Six-armed Snake Demon’s distinctive six-armed trait to an extreme.

Her previously demonstrated terrifying single-target killing ability was the perfect combination and manifestation of these abilities. The one to take the first bullet of Gaven’s Death Roar was precisely that Divine Strike. Against frontal ranged attacks, the Six-armed Snake Demon holds an absolute advantage. If the attack comes from the rear or the side, this move might not be so useful.
