Chapter 386 - 325 Blessing Luna_1

Chapter 386: Chapter 325 Blessing Luna_1

From the moment the teleportation ended, she found herself unable to close her mouth.

Waves of life force flooded around her, and she could distinctly feel an invisible connection between her soul and this land—a connection that was inseparable.

Everything she saw along the way likewise surpassed her imagination.

Countless Gnolls were scurrying and bustling through the caves. Upon seeing her, they paid their respects—she certainly wouldn’t naively believe they were saluting her; it was obviously directed at the man beside her.

After emerging from the cave and ascending under Gaven’s guidance, Luna lost her ability to speak completely, unable to find the right words for a long time to express the shock in her heart.

What they had passed through was not a subterranean cave, but the body of a tree.

Only at this point did Lord Virginia make a belated entrance, his gaze falling on Luna, his expression revealing an unmistakable surprise: "Who is this lady?"

With just a glance, she sensed his intimate connection with the Fairy Wilderness.

"This is the Lord Virginia I mentioned to you before. This is Luna. It’s like this..." Gaven explained in detail to Lord Virginia the origin of the Half-Moon Colt.

"I see," Lord Virginia said after a brief contemplation, "Miss Luna’s experience, while not common, is not unique. Since you were born in the Material Plane and did not receive the blessing of the Fairy Wilderness’s natural power at birth, you lack the ability to return to the Fairy Wilderness freely. If you choose Spring Bud Forest as your home, I—on behalf of the lord—can guide the power of nature to grant you your inherent divine right, providing you with the ability to freely return to the Fairy Wilderness."

"Really?" Luna’s equine eyes sparkled with undeniable, immense surprise.

She had originally just wanted to see with her own eyes what the Fairy Wilderness, the land that nurtured her parents, actually looked like, and hadn’t thought of anything else.

"You just need to bind your soul eternally to Spring Bud Forest," Lord Virginia explained the pros and cons, "Once you make this choice, when you die, your soul will not be able to go to the Divine Realm of the Gods. Instead, it will be reborn in Spring Bud Forest."

"That is precisely what I have dreamt of," the Half-Moon Colt answered without a moment’s hesitation.

"Don’t you want to think it over?"

"No need," Luna responded definitively.

"Very well," declared Lord Virginia solemnly, "I, in the name of the Guardian of Spring Bud Forest, bestow upon her the blessings she deserves, unlocking her inherent divine right."

No spellcasting gestures were necessary. With every word spoken by Lord Virginia, the entire Spring Bud Forest seemed to resonate from a distance.

Just as he had said, it was Luna’s inherent right.

Now she was merely receiving her own belated blessing.

The trees around them seemed to cheer, celebrating the addition of a new member to their territory.

Threads of life force drifted out from them, flowing toward the Half-Moon Colt—this was their gift to her.

This scene was uncannily similar to when Gaven had first initiated Thornspike.

The greatest gift at that time had been bestowed by the Dragon Oak Mother Tree, which had directly enhanced Thornspike’s strength by a level.

This time, the Dragon Oak Mother Tree was no exception. It clearly showed signs of action as a bright emerald light drifted out, merging into the blessing energy.

Though, compared to the other trees, it seemed minor, especially when compared to the blessing it had given to Thornspike.

It wasn’t that the Dragon Oak Mother Tree was being stingy.

Rather, it had no close connection with the Half-Moon Colt and was simply providing a routine blessing.

Gaven, with other motives, wasn’t satisfied with just this. He directly invoked the shadow of the Dragon Oak Mother Tree through his soul consciousness, and a column of green light thundered down, infusing into the Half-Moon Colt’s body.

This greatly surpassed the blessings arranged by Lord Virginia and the whole Spring Bud Forest.

Hiss, hiss, hiss...

The influx of a vast amount of energy inevitably elicited a long whinny from the Half-Moon Colt.

Then she galloped away, her massive wings flapping, circling around the War Giant Tree at breakneck speed, leaving in her wake a dazzling streak of emerald light—that was the life force still infusing into her body.

When the Half-Moon Colt had dashed far off, Lord Virginia shared with Gaven a smile filled with deep meaning: "Have you taken a fancy to her?"

Gaven replied irritably, "Don’t put it so ambiguously. It makes me sound like I’m luring an innocent girl. The Material Plane is not the same as the Fairy Wilderness; a mount is often not just a convenience, but a symbol of status and position. I can’t always be seen riding around on a Dog Demon."

"I understand, I understand. You don’t have to explain so much," Lord Virginia laughed, "Did you receive the gift I sent over this morning?"

"I did. I like it very much; it’s been of great help," Gaven knew she was referring to Vick and his barrel.

After the initial excitement, Gaven figured that Vick managing to create the barrel was not solely due to him suddenly maxing out Goblin black technology, but rather someone was behind it, pushing things along.

Who else but Lord Virginia would have such ability?

"No need to thank me. I simply crammed some of your ideas into that Mechanical Puppet Crafting Manual and handed it over to Vick. My initial plan was to leverage the power of his Devil Contract, but unexpectedly, he stumbled upon the Shadow Power, which, in turn, turned out to be more suitable for your experiments," Lord Virginia revealed her initial thoughts to Gaven.

"So that’s how it is. Since you’ve given me a generous gift, I should also reciprocate," Gaven approached with a playful grin.

"What are you planning to do?" Lord Virginia asked warily, "We have a guest!"

"Don’t worry, she won’t be able to exhaust this tremendous power for a while. We’ll make it quick," Gaven reassured.

He activated the Bionic Art of Eagle’s Majesty, gaining a +4 bonus to his Charisma attribute, breaking through Transcendent limits, and unleashing his newly acquired Special Ability, Lady’s Companion.

The explanation of this Special Ability was unprecedentedly vague, and he had to unearth all its uses himself.

Although this ability was somewhat awkward to speak of, it was still a part of his own, and Gaven had to explore what he needed to explore.

"Eh?!"

Lord Virginia clearly felt the change in Gaven.

This change was not one of appearance, but an intangible change in his aura, as if an indescribable male Charisma was stirring her heartstrings.

She herself could not really resist Gaven’s close contact, and with a bit of magic power, she succumbed in an instant.

By the time she came to her senses from her infatuation, they had already battled countless rounds, feeling unprecedented satisfaction both physically and mentally.

As for the effectiveness of this ability on other women, that remained unknown, but it was certainly very effective on Lord Virginia.

Before Gaven even started to exert its power, she had already surrendered several times.

Many of the effects were indeed not to be spoken of to outsiders; he feared the all-capable and harmonious deity would cast their glorious light upon him.

Just as Gaven had anticipated, the Half-Moon Colt’s absorption of Life Force was a very lengthy process. He and Lord Virginia had been entangled for over two hours before she absorbed the majority of it, circling the Dragon Oak War Giant Tree who knows how many times.

Gaven timed his return to their initial blessing start point.

Seeing Gaven’s figure, Luna flew over excitedly.

Visible changes had occurred on the Half-Moon Colt.

The main body was still snow white, but below her hooves was a vibrant green, or more accurately, entwined like green flames of light.

Her huge angel wings were wrapped in symmetrical Mysterious Runes, not only did they not detract from her beauty, they endowed her with a unique Charisma.

On her forehead, a green rune appeared, easily distinguishable as the epitome of the Dragon Oak Mother Tree.

She hadn’t grown larger overall; instead, she had slimmed down, giving her an even lighter feel and naturally a faster flying speed.

"Where is Lord Virginia?" Luna asked from a distance.

"She had other urgent matters to attend to and couldn’t wait here for you. She also asked me to apologize to you," Gaven covered for Lord Virginia. He couldn’t very well tell the pure Half-Moon Colt that her new lord had been overexerted to the point of being unable to get out of bed.

Luna had no doubts and said with a look of regret, "I haven’t even had the chance to thank the lord properly. She not only granted my wish but also bestowed upon me even greater strength. Of course, I must also thank Lord Gaven for your blessing. I am willing to serve as your mount, to be by your side, and repay this kindness."

It was only after Luna’s body had been infused with the Life Force of the Dragon Oak Mother Tree that she vividly felt the depth of the bond between Gaven and the Mother Tree.

She realized the true potential of this Half-Elf before her and understood the profound significance of why Darnell and Valon were committed to sending her to his side.

Even feeling a natural fondness.

Luna had been somewhat resistant to this arrangement at first, but now she was wholeheartedly willing.

Because she wanted to witness the splendor this Half-Elf could create with her own eyes.

"This is my greatest honor," Gaven did not refuse, for the other party was a highly intelligent being and he knew exactly what he wanted to do.

Resorting to pretenses would only leave the impression of insincerity.

Luna lowered her stance and said, "Mr. Gaven, please come aboard and could you introduce me to the specifics of this place?"

Gaven hesitated for a moment but ultimately did not take out the Enlarge Necklace; instead, he leaped onto her back.

Although she had accepted being his mount, immediately equipping her with a saddle was another matter.

Based on past experience, such things shouldn’t be rushed—gradually progressing and waiting for deeper affection and more contact was not too late.

"Hold on tight." The Half-Moon Colt neighed loudly, her wings flapped, and her hooves kicked as she began to tread the air.

Previously, her treading in the air was clearly a habitual action that didn’t contribute much to flying.

Now, however, it was different. Her hooves burning with Life Force and her wings formed a complete flying entity. When she tread, it was truly on the air, creating whirlwinds that propelled her wings, making her take-off more effortless, and increasing both her flying speed and agility.
