Chapter 1096: Chapter 632: Divine Grace Great Giveaway

This is clearly a secondary artifact.

Refined from a divine nature incarnation of a disparaged deity, what else could it be if not an artifact?

All the power above is the application of Plunderer Karazgos’s strength, truly unique.

That being said, every artifact is unique. To forge one requires not just strength, but also a stroke of fate.

Even the Goddess of Strategy cannot casually create a Path of War, for without a vessel of divine nature force, using the same method would only produce the most ordinary items. They lack the resonance and harmony that the Goddess of Strategy feels with the world when she comprehends the knowledge carried by those texts. Unless there is a book that impacts her just as powerfully, even a successful creation wouldn’t be a Path of War, but an artifact with some other special ability.

The abilities of the Pillaging Destructive Arms don’t need much explaining, much like the powers represented by Plunderer Karazgos – powerful, straightforward, and direct. The only thing that’s certain now is how uniquely powerful this thing is.

Like other magic items obtained through the ability to Destroy Evil, Gaven doesn’t need to harmonize with them individually. In the process of destroying and creating them, the harmony is already achieved. With a mere thought, his arms turn into a mass of blood-red energy and infuse straight into his own arms without any visible change.

It’s not until he thinks to activate the Pillaging Destructive Arms that a berserk strength surges in his arms, swelling visibly with speed, veins protruding like earthworms, muscle contours becoming extremely exaggerated, and the skin enshrouded in a layer of redness.

Although it’s not as exaggerated as the actual Pillaging Destructive Arms, they’re still five or six circles thicker than before. Gaven can clearly feel a strong force churning in his arms, not only has the strength reached a terrifying 31 points, but the hardness is also beyond imagination, rivaling ordinary steel and comparable to Fine Gold.

The fusion of the power of these arms is distinct from the Shadow Power of the Five-Willow Overstate Full Form, which forms an exoskeleton on the outside; it’s completely integrated into his own arms, enhancing them.

Uncontrollably, Gaven cast a Mirror Image Spell to observe his current image, which doesn’t feel much out of balance, even carrying a strange beauty. That feeling made Gaven have an inexplicable association; a slender-limbed and pure-faced shota, cough cough... wrong, it’s a pair of mighty arms.

This pair of arms, in contrast, makes Gaven look more slender and fragile now, but that’s just an optical illusion – his body hasn’t changed at all.

Gaven used the Bionic Art of Bull’s Strength, giving his intrinsic attributes a four-point enhancement. The changes in his body and attribute bonuses remained, but his arms were unaffected, still at 31 strength points.

It’s only when his body type changed to large, making his arms grow larger in kind, that the strength changed, getting a +2 boost to 33 points. Moreover, all other calculations were now based on the large body type. Presumably, the same would apply to a super large body type; these come from adjustments in body type, not from internal enhancements.

This means, when fusing the power of the Pillaging Destructive Arms into his body, his Special Ability could not enhance it. To put it more precisely, the enhancement was overshadowed by a stronger force, unless his own strength points exceeded 31, overlaying the lesser. It’s always about aiming for a higher level, not settling for a lower one.

As for the special abilities bestowed on his arms, they could only be truly felt in actual combat, given their destructive power is too strong.

Then Gaven activated the multi-arm mode, and the power fused into his arms began to withdraw. New arms condensed right under his armpits, looking almost identical to what he saw before – blood-red with exaggerated muscle contours, sounding metallic upon knocking, more akin to a Six-armed Serpent Demon than to the shoulder bushes of Plunderer Karazgos. Gaven found the former more agreeable and handy compared to the latter.

Having suddenly gained an extra pair of appendages, Gaven did not feel out of place, but instead as if they had always been part of him. He effortlessly controlled the four arms just as with two, throwing combination punches as he pleased – whether he wanted to punch with both fists at once or just one, he could do so. This effectively doubled his attack speed, and the variance in power between the heavy and light punches meant anyone facing him would be completely overwhelmed.

"Compared to a true warrior, you have one fatal flaw. Now, I shall help you remedy that," said Lady Strategy, who had completed her task of subjugation and was now observing Gaven’s tally of his spoils. Her longsword pointed at Gaven, and immediately a divine glow enveloped him, a massive amount of Lady Strategy’s unique power coalescing in his body. Two brand new abilities appeared on Gaven’s attribute panel.

Action Like Tide (Divine Grace Ability) – This is the divine grace of Goddess of Strategy, which makes all your professions equivalent to the warrior profession. For every five Professional Levels, your attack speed increases twofold (up to a maximum of fivefold).
