As Muniang stitched, she felt blissful inside. Embroidering something personally for the one in her heart truly felt different. She was thinking that once her skills improved, she would take over embroidering all his clothes, shoes, and pouches.

When Qingya came in, Muniang looked up and asked, “How did it go? Was Doctor Xue angry?”

Qingya smiled and said, “Not at all. Doctor Xue has a good temper. After I explained everything to him, he was even concerned about whether Lady’s child was well. Now that he’s here, he might as well stay a few days, consider it a break.”
