"To freely manipulate truth and illusion... a technique that changes fate?!"

Mira muttered solemnly, "If it’s truly such a technique, then we have no chance of winning."

"Don’t be deceived, Mira," Erza raised her red lance and held it in front of her, speaking without turning her head.

"There is no such thing as perfect magic in this world. Even if her magic claims to ’alter fate,’ it must have its limitations. If she could use it without restraint, then no one in this world would be able to stop her."

Mira paused for a moment, then nodded. "You’re right."

"Don’t whisper over there now, otherwise the rest of this will be so very boring," Stella smiled sweetly as she looked at Mira and Erza.

"Come on, it’s time for this battle to come to an end."

"Not a chance!"

Erza pushed off the ground with force, leaping into the air and swinging her red lance down toward Stella.

Behind her, the demonic wings on Mira’s back flared as she followed closely, cloaked in a wave of dark, demonic power.

"Useless."

Stella spoke softly.

Erza’s blade flashed past, slicing a large wound across Stella’s body—but in the blink of an eye, the wound vanished, her body perfectly restored.

Mira gathered dark energy in her hands like a cannon blast, and just as Stella’s wound healed, the wave of dark power was already upon her.

"Hmph, too naive."

Stella let out a light laugh, stretched out her hand, and Mira’s Demon Smash was instantly deflected, blasting a hole in the ceiling.

"Is that all you’ve got?"

Stella sneered, leapt forward with a burst of speed, grabbed Mira by the arm, and before Mira could react, yanked her down mid-air and slammed her to the ground.

"Mira!" Erza cried out in alarm at the sight.

"You don’t have the luxury of worrying about others."

In the next instant, Stella appeared directly in front of Erza.

Without giving her any chance to react, she drove her elbow straight into Erza’s abdomen, sending her flying.

"Dark Spark!"

Mira, who had been slammed to the ground, quickly got back up, firing a barrage of dark flash bombs from her hands.

The multiple blasts filled the entire space, raining down toward Stella as if to completely engulf her small frame.

For the first time, a faint crease formed between Stella’s brows, breaking her usual calm expression.

With a swift movement, she dodged Mira’s attack.

"Hmm, what’s this?!"

Seeing this, both Erza and Mira’s eyes shifted subtly.

In that moment of shared glance, they understood what the other was thinking.

"It’s worth a try. Heaven’s Wheel Armor."

With a flash of light, Erza changed into her Heaven’s Wheel Armor, which allowed her to control multiple swords at once.

A massive swarm of blades surged toward Stella.

Stella frowned in annoyance. "Didn’t I already say? Naive tricks like this won’t work."

Bang, bang!

One by one, the hundreds of swords launched by Erza were all blocked—stopping mid-air without warning, then slowly falling to the ground as they lost their energy.

The process lasted for several tense seconds.

"Mira, now!" Erza suddenly shouted the moment the attack ended.

Standing quietly behind Erza all along, Mira gave a faint smile.

A tremendous amount of demonic power had gathered around her, dark and intense enough to make anyone pale.

A massive vortex had silently formed and was now rapidly surging toward Stella.

"Dark Explosion!"

Stella’s pupils shrank sharply.

Boom!

Unable to dodge in time, Stella was blasted backward, slamming into the wall with a tremendous crash.

The impact cracked even the sturdy stone behind her.

"When did you figure it out?" Stella’s icy, emotionless voice came from within the settling dust.

"During the earlier battle—when you dodged Dark Spark," Erza replied softly.

"If you truly possessed a magic that could alter fate, then why would you need to avoid Mira’s attack?"

"There’s only one reasonable explanation, isn’t there?" Mira continued with a faint smile.

"Your technique has a time limit, and for some reason, it can’t be used consecutively. The time gap between two uses of the spell—that’s our chance."

"I see... so it was that detail after all."

Bang!

Rubble was kicked aside as Stella’s figure reappeared—only this time, the relaxed expression on her face was gone, replaced by a more serious demeanor.

"But you still don’t stand a chance." Stella spoke coldly.

"Let me make it clear—my spell has a cooldown of only ten seconds. Unless you can kill me within that time, once those ten seconds are up, no matter how badly I’m injured, I’ll return to normal."

"Ten seconds, huh? I’d say that’s more than enough," Erza said, a confident smile forming on her lips.

Mira gave a small nod. "Then we’ll just have to go all in."

Whoosh—blinding light engulfed both Erza and Mira.

As the glow faded, the transformed figures that appeared before Stella were entirely different from before.

"Requip—Moon Goddess Armor."

"Take Over—Satan Soul Halphas."

In just a few seconds, Erza clad in the Moon Goddess Armor and Mira, having completed her new demon transformation, were fully prepared.

Terrifying magic power surged around both of them.

"Go, Mira," Erza said softly, raising the Moon Goddess Sword.

Mira nodded silently.

Boom!

The floor beneath Erza’s feet shattered as she launched herself like an arrow from a bow, hurtling straight toward Stella.

Stella reacted quickly—her hand moved slightly, and Erza’s body froze in midair, unable to move an inch.

But Mira didn’t just stand by.

Her wings beat swiftly, tracing an arc as she flanked Stella from the side.

Her arm, now transformed into a demonic claw, slashed toward Stella.

Stella narrowed her eyes slightly and tilted her head, effortlessly dodging the attack.

With a swift counter, she grabbed Mira’s shoulder and threw her aside.

Mira and Erza crashed into each other and tumbled to the ground in a heap.

At the same time, a blue shock beam formed in Stella’s hand and fired straight at the two of them.

Whew— As the attack closed in, Erza and Mira quickly regained their balance and split apart, narrowly dodging Stella’s strike by a hair’s breadth.

"Break!" Erza shouted in a low voice.

With a rush of wind, her longsword slashed down, cleaving through Stella’s control force—then, without hesitation, the blade drove straight toward Stella’s abdomen.
