Chapter 101: Chapter 101 Guidance

"Let go of your brother Aiven, Elante. We have plenty of time to get to know each other!"

"Don’t mind, Aiven. Your Uncle Gel mentioned a lot about you in previous letters, Elante is quite the admirer of yours!"

Seeing Elante was getting overly familiar with Aiven, Daphne laughed and stopped her overly enthusiastic son, explaining to Aiven.

"Nice to meet you, Elante. On the Silver Wings, Uncle Gel often talks about you and Aunt Daphne, he misses you all very much. By the way, Uncle Gel also entrusted me with bringing you gifts!"

As he spoke, Aiven took a wooden box, slightly longer than an adult’s forearm, from the container at his feet and handed it to Elante.

"Is this a present from dad? Really?" Having rarely seen his father Gel, Elante couldn’t remember how long it’s been since he received a gift from him. Even without seeing what’s inside, he was jumping with joy.

He eagerly grabbed the wooden box and hurriedly opened it.

"Wow! It’s a model of a battleship, so impressive!" The teenage boy was instantly captivated by the sight of something he had never seen before.

The 100:1 model of the Silver Wings was crafted with exceptional detail, almost encompassing all the features of the real ship. The sails could be raised and lowered, the cannon ports could open, and even the helm could be rotated freely.

It made one believe that if there were proportionate little figures, they could directly sail this ’battleship’.

"This is our Level 5 Cruiser, Silver Wings. Isn’t it beautiful? Uncle Gel says that seeing this ’battleship’ is like seeing him, and he believes you can grow into a strong man who sails across the sea."

"Ha ha ha, I will definitely become a man, and a great Navy officer like dad and brother Aiven!"

Elante, overjoyed, cradled the model and loved it dearly.

Daphne, however, understood that her husband did not have such delicate thoughts. It was unsurprising that the model of Silver Wings was undoubtedly made by nephew Aiven.

This hand-crafted item, painstakingly created, was far more valuable than any bought gift. Of course, his intention was more precious than the gift itself.

"By the way, there’s also a gift for Aunt Daphne!"

"Oh? I do too? We’ve been married for over a decade, and it’s the first time receiving a proper gift from Gel. I’m curious to see what he’s prepared." Daphne glanced at Aiven but didn’t expose him.

Aiven felt a bead of sweat despite not discussing this with Gel beforehand. He hadn’t anticipated that Uncle Gel was such a typical straight man...

He steeled himself to present the gift prepared for Aunt Daphne.

It was a trophy from the Shark Tooth pirate ship, a brooch embedded with a green gemstone.

However, it was not a simple piece of jewelry. The natural Magic Gemstone had faint active energy which could soothe the mental state, enhance sleep, and even have some effects on slowing down the aging of a typical person’s appearance.

Although it couldn’t be used to create magical Witchcraft Tools and was useless to the Extraordinary, as a piece of jewelry it was already considered top-notch. Especially its magical effects could make any beauty-loving woman crazy about it.

After explaining the effects of the jewelry to Aunt Daphne, the lady didn’t lose her composure, but she immediately wore it on her chest, appearing as if no one could separate them, losing her previous nonchalance!

"Heh... woman, your name is hypocrisy!"

However, Aiven dared only to think this to himself.

With the gifts distributed, Aiven had already won over the entire Cooper family, becoming the most popular new member of the household.

...

"Relax the wrist, lift the arm two inches higher. Tilt your body slightly, watch your breathing, squat... thrust!"

Hiss——

The Swift Sword pierced the air, producing a sharp screech.

In an instant, Elante felt all his strength surging out with this strike, the wooden practice dummy as the target was pierced straight through.

Bang——

Pale face and weak legs, yet after a brief exertion comes a never-before-experienced exhilaration!

"Hoo... hoo..."

With just one strike, Elante was already steaming all over, as if he had just completed a long run. Once the old strength depleted, new strength emerged from deep within, already stronger and hotter.

"Brother Aiven, what’s going on?"

Elante looked eagerly, having practiced as a Knight since childhood, he understood the magic of that strike. Although it was himself who delivered the strike, the effect was worlds apart from his thousands of past practice sessions.

He knew.

Only when treating the body like a precise system, controlling the power of every bone, muscle, and tendon, blending the rhythm of swordsmanship and physique, could he deliver such a miraculous strike.

What appeared a simple straightforward thrust demanded extreme control, insight, swordsmanship aptitude, and so on from the swordsman. Even many long-established Knights might never have such an opportunity.

Elante couldn’t believe he just happened by fortune to unleash such a strike while Aiven guided him.

This strike, unparalleled and rare, was certainly related to Aiven!

Thinking of this, Elante became overwhelmingly excited. Imagining that if he could experience it several more times, understanding its subtleties, advancing in training would be inevitable!

"Hmm, barely okay, there’s still a little problem with movement connection and foot coordination, there should be room for improvement with another try." Aiven commented as he slowly withdrew his gaze from Elante’s actions.

Even though every Extraordinary Swordsmanship has undergone countless refinements to allow Knights to achieve the strongest attack effect with minimal force, due to various Secret Techniques and Secret Swordsmanship, swordsmanship nearly reached a magical level.

But everyone’s physique and build differ, a swordsmanship only retains the highest natural concordance with its creator.

Subsequent Inheritors can’t casually wear someone else’s shoes; only through repeated rigorous training, engraving the swordsmanship onto the bones, can it be gradually adjusted to best suit themselves.

In other words, either alter oneself or transform the swordsmanship!

This process is long and arduous, and with incorrect training and without expert guidance, it is even possible to stray onto a wrong path.

Already now, it’s Aiven’s second morning staying in Cooper Manor. After finishing his practice, he began to guide Elante’s swordsmanship.

Aiven himself was a beneficiary of the family’s inheritance. Uncle Gel had helped him a great deal earlier, so now, facing Elante, he certainly wouldn’t hide his skills deliberately.
