Evil dragon has a warm heart
Chapter 641 - 641 639 Behemoth Beast

Chapter 641: Chapter 639: Behemoth Beast Chapter 641: Chapter 639: Behemoth Beast “Scorching, what do you think?”

Inside the Blazing Hot Volcano, King Ares was boiling tea over the lava, leisurely brewing kung fu tea.

He was merely learning the tea-drinking method from Russell.

The Fiery Dragon lay submerged in the lava, with only its head exposed, as thick smoke constantly rose from under the scales on its head.

Then it drifted up through the volcano’s mouth toward the sky.

It was as if every day, the Blazing Hot Volcano was erupting.

“Do you want Scorching to open up the Volcanic Realm?” The roaring sound of hot winds came, “Scorching’s hope has never been shattered, so why bow down to the Amber Dreamscape? Ares, have you also lost faith in Scorching?”

“Never!” King Ares immediately denied, “But Russell also makes sense, the Tri-Dragon Sacrifice Method has failed, and perhaps the hope lies not in Dragon Sleep Continent, but in the Amber Dreamscape.”

The Fiery Dragon did not answer.

King Ares lowered his head to take a sip of the freshly brewed green tea and continued, “On the millennium, I am also worried about you… Scorching, if one day, you also leave this nation due to an opportunity, what should I do then?”

As legend has it,

Dragon lives span thousands of years, but most dragons, after a thousand years, can’t help but go out in search of a chance to return to ancient times.

Once they left, they would basically not be heard from again, until one day, the volcano extinguished.

“Let Scorching think, Ares, don’t be hasty in pressing Scorching.” The Fiery Dragon simply submerged its entire head into the lava.

The rolling smoke ceased, and only on the surface of the lava would a bubble occasionally appear; when the bubble burst, a puff of thick smoke would dissipate.

“Alas, it’s not me who is pressing you, Scorching, it’s just that the fate of humanity has reached a crossroads.” King Ares drained the green tea, put down the cup, stood up, and sighed as he looked at the lava, “To the left or to the right, sooner or later both you and I must make a decision.”

There was no response.

King Ares waited for a moment, then turned and left the Blazing Hot Volcano.

Mounting his Bipedal Flying Dragon steed, he flew straight from the Blazing Hot Volcano toward the distant Torrential Volcano.

It took several hours of flying to reach the Torrential Volcano.

Whoosh!

The Bipedal Flying Dragon landed on the edge of the volcanic lake at the mouth of the volcano, and King Ares called out, “Torrent, please come out for a moment.”

After a short while, the water of the volcanic lake splashed, and the head of the Torrential Flood Dragon emerged, its magic dragon language ringing out clearly, “Ares, you’re not staying in the Blazing Hot Volcano, burrowing back into the hope of ancient times, what brings you to Torrent here?”

“Torrent, I know you blame me,” King Ares shook his head to explain, “Your hope was shattered, and the responsibility lies with me.”

“Since Torrent has promised, there will be no regrets; it is of no use,” the Torrential Flood Dragon said calmly.

“You’re still so kind-hearted, Torrent.”

“Speak, what’s the matter?”

“The Amber Dreamscape, you familiar with it?”

“Not much.”

“I will explain it to you in detail.” King Ares relayed all the information he knew about the Amber Dreamscape in detail to the Torrential Flood Dragon, “Scorching is not willing to open up the Volcanic Realm, and the Torrential Volcano Realm has already lost the possibility…”

He paused.

Then he continued, “But I think, you still have hope to enter the Amber Dreamscape, to find new hope within the Amber Dreamscape.”

“Oh, how to do that?” The Torrential Flood Dragon was indeed interested.

“Take a trip to the Dreamshadow Flame Kingdom, pass through the Shadowflame Volcanic Realm, and enter the Amber Dreamscape. You’ve received the Amber Starlight, it’s clear you possess a pass,” King Ares said, “Scorching and I will escort you to the Dreamshadow Flame Kingdom.”

After pondering for a moment, the Torrential Flood Dragon agreed, “Very well, Torrent also wishes to meet the Dreamscape Ancient Dragon!”

In its pupils, the image of Russell was reflected.

Days had passed, and Russell had become an Ancient Giant Dragon Knight; back then, it also had some unspoken thoughts…

In the Warm Jade Duchy, within the Jade City Palace.

Joanna Amber was brushing her hair, her pale red locks requiring careful attention from the palace maids each day.

Looking at her delicate pink cheeks in the mirror, Joanna couldn’t help but feel a little disheartened.

In the past, everyone had praised her beauty, calling her the brightest pearl of the Warm Jade Duchy, with countless admirers and suitors. It could be said that every young knight in the Warm Jade Duchy who had seen her, had fallen for her.

Yet, she had not met a knight who could stir love in her heart.

But the day before, the unexpected arrival of Russell Amber Dream had shown her that there were still better knights in the world.

However, the situation had turned around after their encounter.

In the past, where she had been indifferent to the young knights’ courtship within the duchy, this time she found herself being the one expressing love towards Russell, with him remaining indifferent. The more it happened, the more Joanna found Russell unforgettable.

“Your Highness, Princess?” The maid had finished brushing Joanna’s hair, only to find the princess lost in thought.

“What is it?” Joanna came back to her senses.

“Your hair is done, and today we’ve styled it in your favorite curved-plate updo. Are you pleased with it?”

“It’s quite nice.”

“His Majesty is hosting a grand banquet at the Jade City Hall today. The young nobles are all waiting to admire your grace,” said the maid with a smile.

In the past, Joanna would have proudly shown herself off at such a time.

But today she felt somewhat listless, “What’s there to admire? It’s all the same people, coming and going.”

“There are many young and handsome knights still…” The maid was about to name some knights she knew.

But the door was pushed open.

An elderly nurse came in: “Your Highness, Princess, there has been a change of plans. Today’s banquet at the Jade City is canceled.”

“What happened?” Joanna was taken aback.

“I hear that the border demon towers have sent out an alert; the Frost Snow Giants are here again. These invaders just never stop!” The old nurse complained, her words tinged with fear.

Over the past half a year, news had spread of six grand duchies falling to the Frost Snow Giants.

With the Frost Star invasion, everyone felt threatened.

However, Joanna’s eyes lit up, “Will the Frost Snow Giants invade the Volcanic Oasis?”

“Who knows? They might come, or they might just bluff and retreat,” the nurse shook her head.

The maids in the room immediately began discussing the Frost Snow Giants, anxious yet excited.

Joanna was excited too.

But in the Jade City Hall, Duke Jonas and the Cabinet Ministers wore grave expressions: “All three boundaries have sent warnings; the Frost Snow Giants are approaching from three directions. They plan to utterly destroy our Duchy!”

“Your Grace, we must immediately seek aid from His Majesty Russell!” said a minister.

“Let me go. I will personally travel to the Dreamshadow Flame Kingdom and ask His Majesty Russell for help!” Another minister volunteered.

He was a Flying Dragon Knight, who last night, under the Amber Starlight, had received the Hope Pass.

However, Duke Jonas did not agree immediately but looked at Baron Harris Behemoth and said, “Baron Harris, you have the Human-Dragon Pass. Go seek aid from King Russell. Wait at Red Castle for our signal. Once confirmed that the Frost Snow Giants have invaded, then ask for King Russell’s help.”

“Yes, Your Grace!” replied Baron Harris.

He then exited the grand hall, promptly calling his Pseudo-Dragon companion, a creature resembling a hippopotamus.

This Pseudo-Dragon was a Behemoth Beast, also the source of his noble surname.

“Harry,” Harris called to the Behemoth Beast, “we have a mission. We must go to the Dreamshadow Flame Kingdom!”

“Hmm, hmm!” The Behemoth Beast Harry let out two muffled grunts, carrying Harris quickly away from Jade City.

They were already on their way to the Amber Central Region.
