Evil dragon has a warm heart
Chapter 633 - 633 631 Decision (Extra Seeking Monthly Pass)

Chapter 633: Chapter 631: Decision (Extra, Seeking Monthly Pass) Chapter 633: Chapter 631: Decision (Extra, Seeking Monthly Pass) A display of divine presence in front of the people quickly garnered the support of the Shadowflame Duchy’s populace. Everyone revered Russell like a Divine Spirit, no longer fearing the threat of the Snowfield.

Within a side hall in Red Castle.

Baron Roman, older brother Roland, Lady Meryl, and the younger sister Lola, who was preparing for her wedding, were all present.

“Father, mother,” Russell said, “this is the situation. I had already met with the Dreamscape Ancient Dragon in olden days, and I’ve been awaiting the volcanic eruption all these years. I just didn’t expect the eruption to be so unique, carving out the Amber Dreamland beyond the sky.”

Russell gave a brief account of the Little Dream Dragon’s situation.

Of course.

He omitted his experience as a transmigrator and did not reveal the conversations with Mother Earth or the will of the planet. As for the withering of the Tree of the Cosmos and the invasion of Frost Star, there was no need for his parents to bear that burden. Russell shouldered that responsibility alone.

“Ah, this…” Baron Roman didn’t know where to begin.

Lady Meryl was equally incredulous, but the recent divine display in front of the crowd was deeply etched in everyone’s minds.

She gently shook her head: “Mother can no longer see clearly your path ahead, but I always knew that you are my greatest pride.”

She reached out and stroked her son’s handsome face.

Russell smiled slightly, “Come evening, I will invite you to visit the Amber Dreamland, and then you will understand everything. However, the Special Invitation Pass is only a temporary permit and won’t allow you to stay in the Amber Dreamland for a prolonged period.”

“That’s more than enough. We just need to see, to see what kind of world the Dreamscape Ancient Dragon has created,” Baron Roman said.

After speaking, he patted Russell’s shoulder, “I know you’re busy. Go on, do what you need to do, you don’t need to keep us company any longer.”

“Then, I’ll take my leave.” Russell left the side hall.

He left his parents, older brother, and younger sister in the side hall, continuously reflecting on everything that happened today, which surpassed all previous surprises combined — the pact with the Shadowflame Dragon was expected, but the Ancient Dragon Knight was what truly shook the heart.

During the Thunder Voice Conference, Russell had already arranged for someone to compile information on Ancient Dragon Knights and sent it over.

He also included the Amber Dreamland’s pass information.

“The hope of the dragons can be forged into ‘Hope Passes,’ allowing dragons and knights to enter the Amber Dreamland. It is up to the various Kings and Grand Dukes to decide. Dreaming of volcanic eruptions means the dragons understand how to forge the Hope Passes,”

“As for the other passes, I will soon open the permissions, allowing the holders free entry to and exit from the Amber Dreamland.”

As the owner of the Amber Dreamland, the Little Dream Dragon bestowed upon him all authority.

Thus, he controlled everything about the Amber Dreamland — who could enter, when they could do so — all was for him to decide.

“This is truly shocking. I need to think this over thoroughly,” King Debuloye replied in a Thunder Voice. “Of course, I must first congratulate King Russell for successfully advancing to an Ancient Dragon Knight, once again creating a new peak for the Way of the Knight!”

“That’s right, congratulations to King Russell!” Kings and Grand Dukes joined in one after another.

“Seeing him for the first time a few years ago, I knew that King Russell had boundless potential. Now, years later, King Russell has surpassed his predecessors and entered an unprecedented realm!” King Ares’s Thunder Voice was full of emotion.

He had long considered himself the leader of humanity and, after decades of planning, the Tri-Dragon Sacrifice Method.

However, the Sacrifice Method failed, dealing him a heavy blow, nearly causing him to fall from grace and no longer able to claim the title of humanity’s leader.

“Life is quite laughable,” King Ares murmured after the Thunder Voice session, standing at the highest point of the Golden Palace with an inexplicably melancholic mood, “The hopes of Scorching, Torrent have shattered, leaving only you with hope remaining.”

“Ares, what do you intend to do?”

“Russell said in the Thunder Voice that this sphere of hope is the Hope Pass leading to the Amber Dreamland; I want to forge it with you into a key and then take a look at the Amber Dreamland,” King Ares spoke in his mind.

He looked in the direction of the Blazing Hot Volcano and said gravely, “We lost one opportunity; this time might be the last!”

“Let Scorching think about it,” the Fiery Dragon did not agree immediately.

To return to the ancient hope was too precious for dragons; none were willing to easily cast it into an unclear pass.

At Fengling Plain.

Willem Ginnari did not join the fight at the Snowfield but stayed in his own castle, quietly staring into his palm.

Looking intently, there seemed to be a flicker of Amber Starlight within.

But upon closer inspection, there was nothing in his palm; the flickering Amber Starlight appeared to have been just an illusion.

“What are you looking at, Willem? You’ve been staring all morning,” Pseudo-Kinari Dragon Lily asked in his mind, puzzled, “What’s in your palm? I can’t see anything. It’s completely clean.”

“A touch of amber starlight.”

“What’s that?”

“I don’t know, Lily, I can just feel it; it seems to be related to the dream I had last night—the one where a volcano erupted but out came a tree,” Willem said seriously. “I thought it was just a simple dream, but it wasn’t.”

“Can you explain it more clearly?” Lily asked.

“I can’t explain much, just that my round shield is telling me the amber starlight is there.” Willem had inherited an amber worm from his family legacy, this one named Round Shield, which had assisted his great-grandfather Wester Ginnari’s ascension as Lord of the Dragon Domain.

“Does Round Shield know what this amber starlight is for?”

“Round Shield can’t explain clearly… but vaguely, I can feel it’s guiding me, as though it wants to guide me to the place of that volcano, that tree.”

“How do we go there?”

“I don’t know.”

“Then let’s not worry about it for now, let’s go fight. I’ve already grasped the mysteries of life and death in the horn of a Pseudo-Kinnaly Dragon, and I desperately need a battle to vent!” Pseudo-Kinnaly Dragon Lily, brimming with fighting spirit, was also a Phantom Beast that understood the value of effort.

“Oh, okay.” Willem put aside the amber starlight and followed Lily, leaving behind their ever-shrinking territory.

Somewhere in Snow Forest, a black cat-like Phantom Beast lay on a tree, licking its paws.

Suddenly, it stared at its paw, as if it saw a hint of amber starlight, but soon lost interest.

Just as it had forgotten the strange dream it had last night, where a volcano erupted followed by a beautiful amber tree. What did those dreams have to do with it? It often dreamed, but that hardly interfered with its role as the ruthless predator of this Snow Forest.

Resting during the day to gather strength, only to unleash slaughter at night.

Cabinet Ministers were busy making preparations for the Shadowflame Duchy’s kingdom ascension ceremony, elevating from a Grand Duchy to a Kingdom—a more glorious event than what their ancestors had achieved in founding a nation—a Kingdom requires at least two giant dragons!

Not a single detail of the ceremony could be overlooked.

The ministers, experiencing such an event for the first time, were understandably busy and dizzy, fearing that any slip-up would affect the grandeur of the ascension ceremony.

Russell, in reality, was indifferent to this, for after becoming the Divine Spirit of this warm land, his sights were set on the Frost Star invasion and the survival of all humankind on Dragon Sleep Continent, rather than indulging himself within his own territory.

Of course.

He wasn’t going to ignore the goodwill of his ministers and followers; the sense of ceremony was an important part of rallying the public spirit and strengthening national power.

Just as he was preparing to return to Cigar Manor.

The voice of the Shadowflame Dragon resonated in his mind: “Russell.”

“What is it, Shadowflame?”

“Shadowflame has come to a decision. Shadowflame has decided to turn hope into a Hope Pass and personally visit Amber Dreamland to meet Ice Cream!”

“You’ve come to realize this so soon?” Russell said in surprise, then flew off toward Shadowflame Volcano.

“Having witnessed the power of Ice Cream, that power which transcends elemental forces, Shadowflame’s heart is stirring.” The Shadowflame Dragon’s forelimb claws, holding a cluster of hope, looked down contemplatively. “Just as you said, perhaps the real hope is hidden in Amber Dreamland.”

“Have you decided?”

“I have decided.”

“Good,” Russell smiled, “Trust me and Ice Cream; you won’t regret making this choice.”

“Shadowflame does not consider what regrets may come. Once a choice is made, Shadowflame steps forward with courage and diligence!” With that, the Shadowflame Dragon opened its mouth wide and directed a blast of Original Dragon Flame at the hope resting upon its claw.

Flames scorched, and hope crackled sharply.

Moments later.

An amber stone remained in the Shadowflame Dragon’s forepaw, then slowly melted, seeping into the dragon’s claw, disappearing without a trace.

Hope was gone, but the path to Amber Dreamland was vividly revealed before the Shadowflame Dragon’s eyes.

It glanced at Russell.

Russell, understanding the gesture, sat down on the throne atop the Shadowflame Dragon’s head; the next moment, the Shadowflame Dragon took a massive step forward.

It didn’t hit a wall, but instead vanished completely, leaving only the slowly churning magma behind.
