Mel laughed, “See, Willem has plans for his life while you just drift through yours aimlessly.”

“Ha, once I ride a Dragon Knight, the ladies of the world will wave at me!” Russell patted Senbula’s neck and quickly moved to the front of the line, its fiery fur billowing in the wind as if it was about to take flight.

The carriage traveled very slowly, making the return journey even longer.

the caravan passed through the Cat’s Eye Emerald into the vast Snowfield, as the Warm Season had persisted for over a month, and the Ice and Snow Great Wall was reopened. Merchant caravans traveled back and forth on this major trade route between the two nations, occasionally meeting at Cold Spring Point.

They smoothly passed out of the Scorching Torrent Kingdom into a segment of the trade route that had no influence from the Dragon’s power.

“We’re nearly back to your home, Senbula,” Russell said.

“Rush.”

Senbula’s home was the Black Horse Snow Forest. Of course, it was his old home; he would soon move to his new home—Cigar Castle.

Stopping and waiting for Mel to fly over on the Iron Winged Grey Crane, Russell said, “This area has lost the protection of the dragon’s power. I will go ahead to clear the path and maintain some distance from you all; you must be cautious on your own.”

“You’re the one who needs to be cautious. We only have Earl Ade, a Dragon Knight here, worth Shuang Da’s ambush,” Mel replied. “But you are different; you are a future Dragon Knight; Shuang Da would keep an eye on you for an ambush.”

Senbula galloped off like a streak of black lightning on the Ice and Snow Great Wall.

He hadn’t gone far, and the caravan could still see his figure when suddenly, the Ice and Snow Great Wall seemed to shatter.

A gigantic frost-white palm emerged from the broken ice debris and reached to grab Russell and Senbula.

Earl Ade glanced at the Snow Giant crawling out of the ice and the fist it clenched. He said coldly, “I’m sorry, but there is nothing we can do. Mel, go back and escort the caravan!”

“No!” Mel clenched his teeth tightly, “It was I who asked Russell to come with me!”

Just as Earl Ade was about to rebuke, suddenly a knight cheered, “Lord Russell has escaped!”

The Snow Giant opened its fist, but there were no remains of Russell.

Instead, atop the Snow Giant’s head, the figure of Russell suddenly appeared, and he had entered the full Wind Thunder Form.

Both his hands tightly gripped a three-meter long silver greatsword.

The power of wind and thunder burst forth from the blade, striking at the Snow Giant with a crackling, thunderous assault, going all out, enveloping the Snow Giant’s face.

Mel clenched his fist, laughed, and said, “I knew you could do it, Russell! If you can slay the Frost Giant Ge, how could you be easily ambushed and killed by the Snow Giant!”

Then, riding the Iron Winged Grey Crane, he quickly escorted the caravan away from the battlefield.

The snowstorm grew fiercer, and visibility on the battlefield blurred, but as the knights looked back, they could still see endless bursts of lightning and wind.
