Chapter 350: A Chance To Talk

Lionel walked to Leonardo. He was sitting on the living room couch with Allison kneeling in front of him. Allison’s hand was on his knee while he was running his fingers through his hair in distress.

Lionel could see that Allison was trying to make a point and by the looks of it, Leonardo was accepting her words although he didn’t agree with them.

Love, the most powerful weapon.

Viviana is thinking that Leonardo might kill Allison for trying to kill her. But she forgot that there is a possibility that Leonardo will take his lover’s side.

Sigh!

[Bellissima had a scare but she is fine. Allison Barnes tried to kill her. P.S. Bellissima is friends with a hammerhead shark]

Lionel sent the text message to Leander and leaned on the wall. Leander didn’t send any reply to his previous text. He figured he might ask a follow-up question for this text. He waited for almost five minutes but he left his text on read.

Lionel figured he might talk to Bellissima directly.

"Bullsh*t!!! You think I buy your story? I was not born yesterday!"

Lionel heard Leonardo shouting and looked through the window. Leonardo was choking Allison. Lionel rushed inside.

Bellissima was right. Leonardo is going to kill that woman!

"Two parts? No, my dad is splitting it three ways, one part for my niece!! Are you going for her next? Huh?" Leonardo threw Allison to the wall.

Lionel grabbed Leonardo. "Stop!"

"Trying to kill my sister? What do you think of me? Just because you blow me off well, I will watch you kill my sister? She is my sister! She has my dad’s blood in her! You dared to~" Lionel slapped Allison on the cheek.

Lionel grabbed Leonardo. "Enough! Bellissima wants to hand her over to the police," he shouted. He couldn’t hold back Leonardo as he had a ginormous strength as he was enraged. "Get a hold of yourself, Leonardo!"

Leonardo gritted his teeth and everyone in the room heard his teeth clashing. Allison rolled to the corner.

"Let him kill me! I thought you loved me, Leo! But she is more important to you? Is she really your sister or is she your~"

"Shut up! Shut up!" Leonardo flailed his arms with his hands fisted to balls.

"What? Want to hit me? Come on, hit me! Hit me!" Allison lunged at Leonardo.

"Get her!" Lionel told the staff.

After a commotion that last for a few minutes, Allison was bound and locked in one of the rooms. Lionel managed to bring Leonardo out to the deck.

Lionel stood beside Leonardo. Leonardo kept on cussing and mumbling under his breath.

"Leonardo!" Viviana waved his hand at Leonardo. She could see that he was not fine.

"I am going to kill you!" Leonardo gritted his teeth.

Viviana looked into the water. "Come on, guys. Let’s get out," she hurried the ones in the water. "Those white pointers are approaching."

The three women got outside and the staff handed them towels to dry them off.

"We should move," Viviana said.

The captain agreed. With schools of hammerhead sharks and great white sharks in the same area, one cannot predict the results. This is the sea and it is their turf. All they can do is respectfully retreat.

Viviana went in and changed out of her wet clothes. When she came out, Leonardo was sitting on the couch in the living room.

He did not look good. She understood that he was heartbroken. If he could see the silver lining, it would be better. He escaped a woman with murderous tendencies. She was willing to kill her family for money. It’s not good to have people like that around you.

"Talk to Dad," Leonardo passed his phone to her. "Where is your phone?"

"My phone was in my pocket. It’s not there anymore. It probably is underwater," she said.

She opened Leonardo’s phone and the wallpaper was a selfie of him with Allison. She sighed.

"You don’t have to hand her over to the cops. I’ll just...Maybe we can talk with her and explain~"

"Mind your business," Leonardo said sharply interjecting her. It was pretty cutting. Viviana almost snapped back at him but then she controlled herself.

He is not her husband. He’s not going to sit and explain to her that it’s not her fault. It is not her fault some woman tried to kill her. It’s that woman’s fault.

"Dad is waiting..." Leonardo said. This time his tone was a little softer. Maybe he realized he was harsh with her.

"Yeah," Viviana smiled and dialed her father.

Ignazio answered the phone. "Princess, Don is getting ready to fly over there," he said. "He’s getting changed."

"He cannot travel now! Didn’t the doctors advise him to have rest?" she asked.

"Yes, but he is insisting," Ignazio said. There was a tinge of disappointment in his voice.

"No, stop him... Wait..." she knew her father wouldn’t change his mind for anything. Unless...

"Tell him I am bringing Ziya over there. Stop him."

"Now?" Ignazio asked. The rise in his voice showed that his spirit was lifted.

"I’m still on the boat. I’ll take Ziya with me. Leonardo will accompany me..." She looked at Leonardo and he nodded.

Ignazio sighed in relief and ended the call.

Viviana next called Martha to pack her stuff and Ziya’s stuff and to have Ziya for travel. She wouldn’t take Ziya to travel out on a whim but she didn’t think it would be a good idea to let her father travel. She’d rather travel there.

Leonardo got the phone from her hand and immediately tried to change the background. "This phone sucks," he said trying to figure out how to change the background.

So, he didn’t change the background; It was changed by her.

Viviana got the phone from his hand and helped him. Putting the phone in his pockets, he walked out. Just as he walked out, Lionel came in with Gabby.

"Feeling better?" he asked.

"Yeah, I’m fine..." Viviana nodded.

"I’m going to my dad’s place. He’s... He cannot travel now," she told Gabby who sat by her side.

"Want to talk to him?" Lionel asked holding out his phone.

Viviana looked at his phone screen. "Leo" was the name stored. No surname, no other description. Just "Leo".
