Chapter 335: Is Leander Alive?

Chapter 335: Is Leander Alive?

Leonardo sighed. He almost wanted to slap some sense into her. "You’re still on that bullsh*t? Are you smoking something without my knowledge? How can you be this deluded?" he stacked his questions.

Viviana rolled her eyes. The only reason she put herself up with meeting those elites and royals was under the hopes that she would hear some chatters about Leander. But sadly, she heard nothing. Maybe she is looking for him in the wrong places.

Or... what if Leonardo is right? What if Leander actually... No. No way. It can’t be true.

Michael survived.

"You saw his body! You attended his funeral! Did you forget all that?" Leonardo shook her shoulders as she was staring blankly at the sea.

"Michael survived," Viviana said.

"What are you even..." Leander fisted his hand in front of her face. "If your husband is still alive, our father’s people would have found him by now," he tried to talk some sense into her. "Who even is Michael?" he furrowed his brows.

"Do you know what happened to Steve, Leonardo?" she asked.

"George Stefano—Steve, escaped just a day after Peter’s death," Leonardo said. For now, no one knows where he is.

"Why did he escape, Leonardo? Everyone from the Kastello family was dead. Why did he escape?"

"You think he escaped fearing your husband thinking he was alive?" Leonardo furrowed his brows. He never had the patience to talk to her about this before but she makes a valid point. George Stefano knew everything about Leander Kastello. If he escaped, then he should have known something. He was singing like a bird confessing to the crimes of the Kastello family, but he escaped hearing about Peter’s death.

Was he worried that Leander might get him? Did he know that prison is not his safe place?

"Leander helped him escape," Viviana said. "And did you notice it? Every enemy of Leander is mysteriously disappeared and/or were suicided. Dad talked about it. You heard him, right? Nellie too confirmed~"

"For f*ck’s sake, Minerva! For f*ck’s sake..." Leonardo stopped her. "Suicided? If Dad talked about it, it probably was Dad. He must be protecting you in case any of them decides to come at you for revenge. How are you so..."

"Michael survives, Leonardo. Michael survives."

"Who the f*ck is Michael? You must be on something. Be honest with me, Minerva. Dad will get mad if he finds out but I can get you help. Tell me what you are using and how you are getting it..."

Viviana patted Leonardo’s cheek affectionately. He might be crude at times, but he truly loves her. He cares for her. "I’m clean, Leonardo. I can pee in a cup if you want to," she chuckled.

"So, you’re just being stupid," he asked. "You know what, don’t answer me, please," he stopped her before she said anything.

"You’re worrying me. I hate it," he pushed her hand away. "If it was anyone else, I would have pushed them into the sea and left without thinking twice," he mumbled under his breath.

"Too bad I am your sister, huh?" Viviana wriggled her brows. "By the way, those women... can we get back?" she asked.

She noticed three women on the yacht with them. She didn’t know if there were more.

"What about those women?" he asked. He sensed the little discomfort on her face and it motivated him to tease her. She’s pretty normal if she doesn’t talk about that dead guy. He liked making her mad.

"Have you finished with them?" she asked point blank. "Ziya would be missing me."

"I haven’t finished with them. In fact I was planning on having a foursome," he winked.

"Foursome?" Viviana cringed. "How do you even...You know what, I do not want to know. Please, go finish your business soon and turn the boat around. I’m bored," she shooed him away.

"Soon? Dear, who do you think your brother is? I need hours. If you are that bored, why not watch us? I can arrange for a live feed~"

"Oh, shut it!" Viviana slapped his mouth. "That’s gross. I’m grossed out. It’s already gross I’m here when you..." she pressed her lips and fisted her hands. "Just go. I only agreed to the ride because you promised that there will be no women on board. Liar!"

"What can I say?" Leonardo chuckled. "Dad doesn’t allow me to do what I want anymore. But if I am with you, I can do anything."

"You’re some brother to bring your sister with you to...Leonardo, I say this with utmost care for you. Find a proper woman. Not these bimbos who’d throw themselves at any man who offers them money..." she paused seeing one of the women peeking out from behind the door.

She was glaring at her.

Did she hear me? Eh, whatever! I told the truth!

Leonardo turned. "Coming, babe," he waved his hand.

Viviana grumbled showing her discontent. "What do you see in them? Fall in love, Leonardo. It would be a thousand times better."

"la-la-la" Leonardo covered his ears and walked away. Why would he fall in love when he sees what it does to people? His father and his sister were prime examples of how love ruins life. He’d rather stay single rather than fall into delusional despair.

"Bye, I’ll be with my bimbos for some hours. Read a book or something," he closed the door.

"What the~" Viviana grumbled. Why would he lock her outside? There are literally more than ten rooms in the yacht.

With a sigh, she leaned on the lounge chair and continued to stare at the horizon.

Please, Leander. Please come back to me soon. Please... Please...

Within five minutes, the boat started moving and Viviana stood up not knowing what was going on. One of the staff opened the door and came out.

"Princess Vitale, Princess Ziya misses you and called Mr. Vitale. Mr. Vitale asked us to turn the boat. We will be docking within thirty minutes," he said.

Viviana nodded.

What a sensible uncle!

She smiled seeing Leonardo walking out fully clothed. "Get some fresh fish. I told Ziya I was going fishing. She will ask for it," he told the staff.

"Ziya is one. She will not remember where you went," Viviana shouldered him.

"No, that poor girl will be looking at the door with her beautiful eyes waiting for the fish I am bringing home. You’ll see," Leonardo said rubbing his hands. "I hope she’s not crying and losing hope in her uncle."

Viviana leaned on his shoulder. "You’ll be a good father, Leonardo," she said.

She meant it. She’s seen how Leonardo pampered Ziya. He’s a natural when it came to Ziya. Her baby loved her uncle too and took advantage of him.

"You think so?" Leonardo looked at her with his eyes wide.

"Oh, please don’t go creating bastards. Please, find a wom~"

"Yeah, yeah," Leonardo shoved her away.

Both of them bickered with each other till they docked.
