Chapter 321: His Suggestion

Viviana leaned on his chest comfortably. Leander kissed her head bringing a smile to her face.

"He is my father. But he’s not just that. He’s the head of the Vitale family and you’re the heir of the Kastello family. I am your wife. I didn’t know whether he came in peace. I can’t seem too eager. And..."

"Were you planning on fighting him with your dogs, if the meeting went wrong?" Leander interrupted her with a laugh.

"Are you making fun of me?" she pinched his chest.

"I am," Leander held her hand that pinched him and kissed it. He was still laughing. "I make everything. I make fun, I make love..." he bit her ear.

Viviana rolled her eyes. Although he was laughing, she could feel his hold on her tightening. His heart was beating faster again after it had calmed down. He was moved, she could say.

Well, he is her top priority. She wouldn’t mind losing her connection with Vito if he threatened Leander in any way. That was the reason she didn’t introduce her dogs to Vito. Her dogs will see Vito as a stranger until she was sure Vito is not against Leander.

She didn’t doubt him now. He seemed genuine. But he might not care about Leander as much as he cared for her. She could see that the men didn’t get along fabulously.

They are men and maybe they bond differently. But until she gained confidence that Vito is not a danger to Leander she decided to keep the dogs away.

She would have kept the baby away too but she had a feeling Vito knew the truth. That’s why she brought the baby to him. She thought he would pity her for raising another woman’s child but when he didn’t, her doubts got confirmed. He told her the truth.

Thinking about her father, her heart filled with joy. She felt his love when he was with her and even thinking of their interaction, she could still feel the love.

"Are you sure it’s not the Vitale family helping the commission, Leander?" Viviana asked.

She wanted to know if Leander was hiding the truth from her to spare her feelings.

"No, it’s not. In fact, he offered to help. I refused." Leander caressed her hair. The hair that grew was softer than the hair that got damaged by the bleach. He was glad he could feel her real hair.

Viviana hummed. If Leander refused help then he must be handling it. She understood that his pride wouldn’t have allowed him to ask Vito for help.

"Should I suggest him?" she asked.

She wondered if her question would anger him and yet she asked. She didn’t think that Leander cannot handle it. But it’s been dragging on for long. She’s never done anything for him. If his pride stopped him and if he needed help, she was willing to ask Vito.

Leander grabbed the hair at the back of her head. She looked up as he pulled it.

"Maybe I shouldn’t pity you. I should drill further into you to have some sense reach your brain. Are you doubting my capabilities?" he asked.

"You’re going to drill me?" she grinned. "Drill me more with your cock, Leo..." She puckered her lips and leaned for a kiss.

Leander let go of her hair and buried his face in her chest. "What a dumb b*tch..." he groaned. "I’m much dumber to fall for you..."

Viviana giggled. "What? I am not doubting you. I never will. I was saying that I would ask for favors~"

"Are you going to run to your daddy, asking for help for your husband?" he asked running his fingers through her hair.

"You could have just said no. It’s not like I was insisting on it. I just asked," Viviana pouted.

Leander chuckled. "Look at this angry mouse..."

Viviana bit his finger as he reached for her nose.

"Okay... I’m sorry. I do not want you to go beg anyone for any reason. Is that clear?" he asked.

"Yes," Viviana nodded. "I do not like begging either."

Leander hugged her close. "Why are you insisting on losing yourself for my sake?" he rubbed her back.

He felt like crying thinking of her. She is thinking of him every step of the way. She breathes and blinks thinking of him. He could never love her the same way she loves him.

Viviana didn’t know what to say to it. "Aren’t you doing the same?" she asked.

He might not be open with her but she could feel the love he has for her. She is only trying to return what she was receiving from him. It was not hard.

"Why do you want to f8ck me so badly, Melanie?" he asked. He wanted to change the topic.

"I want to get back the days you kept me apart," Viviana answered.

"Oh, Melanie..." he kissed her. "I didn’t do that out of hate. I~"

"It’s out of love, I know," Viviana held his cheek. "You do not tell me anything. But I can feel it. I would be much happier if you tell me what you are thinking about," she said.

He could sense that he was carrying a heavy burden in his heart. She wanted him to open up to her.

Viviana snorted and rolled away from him.

Viviana wanted to get out of the bed but she was tired. He hugged her from behind and she let him. She was not willing to lose his warmth. She was not even mad at him. She just pretended to.

"How is your business doing?" he asked.

"Very good. Soon, I will be richer than you. Come to think of it... I could have asked my father to spread the word about my business. He would have a lot of connections," she pouted.

How come she didn’t even think of it? She lost a perfect chance.

Her father even asked her if she wanted anything. She said she wanted nothing. She didn’t even think of her business at that time.
