Chapter 314: A Sudden Visit

"I’ll be there in four hours," Vito said and ended the call.

Viviana held her breath. She didn’t know what was going on. In just five minutes her boredom was replaced with anxiety,

Vito did not sound angry. But she couldn’t figure out why he wants to meet her immediately. Did she ask something wrong? Is he coming here to set her straight?

She stared at the distance bewildered for some time. Then she realized it.

Her father is coming to meet her! She needs to prepare.

But first, she called Leander. She wanted to tell him first.

Lionel was screaming at Leander and his anger only increased seeing Leander pulling out his phone.

"Shh, it’s her," Leander said seeing the caller-ID.

Lionel still didn’t want to shut up.

"Leander...My father called," she said. As she said it, she couldn’t help but giggle.

Her father!

"What?" Leander asked. He couldn’t hear her properly over Lionel’s useless drivel.

"You’re with someone?" Viviana asked. She heard a ruckus behind her. "Is that Lionel? Why is he shouting? Should I call later?" she asked.

She didn’t know he was going to be with his friends.

"No," Leander pushed Lionel out of the pub and closed the door. "Vito Vitale called you?" he asked. "What did he say?"

Lionel was shouting behind him but he didn’t care about him. His entire attention turned toward Viviana.

"He’s coming to meet me...In four hours. Leo, I don’t know what to do. What should I do? I should cook, right? And, what should I wear? Uh, I need to buy some refreshments. There isn’t any alcohol in the house. Do you know what he likes? Will you find out~"

"He has renal failure, Melanie," Leander said.

He got that information a couple of days back but he held back from telling her because he knew she will cry alone. But now, he does not have a choice. He had to warn her.

"He’s sick?" Viviana went silent.

Her heart sank. She only found her father lately and already he got sick. Why would her father have any sickness? Why can’t he live a long healthy life?

"He might be trying to get your kidney," Leander added.

"That won’t be bad. If it helps him, then I should do what I can. He’s my father, Leander. And he called me princess!" Viviana couldn’t help but smile.

When Leander said that her father was sick, she thought he might be seriously ill. But if he had a chance, she was willing to do anything to help him.

Leander sighed out loud. "What did I even expect..." He collected his stuff.

"What?" Viviana asked as she couldn’t hear what he was saying.

"He needs a heart too," he said dryly.

"He can have mine," Viviana said without any hesitation.

Leander got out of the pub. He didn’t think it would be safe to leave his wife alone with Vito Vitale. That woman would share parts of herself with that man believing his honeyed words filled with selfishness.

Princess. Is that enough to make her swoon? He tried for ages to get her heart but that man could call her "princess" once and she is ready to offer him her physical heart.

What a fool I married.

"Your heart is mine alone, Melanie. Don’t you dare think about giving it to someone else," he hissed. "Get ready to welcome me. I’ll be there in an hour."

Leander ended the call.

Viviana looked at the phone. Did she really hear what she heard?

Why is he so romantic?

She couldn’t help but giggle thinking of what he said.

My heart is only his!

She rushed inside the house and got ready. She was excited to see her father but thinking of Leander made her heart flutter. It’s been a while since she’s seen him. She wanted to cook for him.

She checked the refrigerator and asked the staff to stock it with Leander’s favorites. She didn’t know what her father’s favorites were. She hoped he liked seafood too.

She only had some time left. She took a quick shower and wore one of the best-fitted dresses she had. She did her hair and makeup.

Just as she finished, she heard the sound of helicopter blades in the distance. She rushed out of the house and looked above.

It was Leander.

She waited by the door and just as her eyes could see him, she ran toward him.

"Leo!!" she jumped on him. Hugging around his neck, she kissed him. "I missed you..."

She showered him with kisses.

Leander was stunned by the welcome he received. He picked her up and walked inside the house. The staff all scattered away. He was surprised to see her acting so brazen even in the presence of others. She was wearing makeup and he could see the lace underwear underneath the dress she was wearing.

My cute wife must have missed me so much.

He threw her on the bed and she sat there with one knee thrown up. The breeze lifted her skirt up revealing her matching underwear. She put no effort in controlling her unruly skirt and his heartbeat became erratic. Her lipstick was smudged slightly and her hair has gotten messier.

"I missed you too, Melanie," he threw his suit on the floor and proceeded to unbutton his shirt.

Viviana drank him up from head to toe. He is hers. Hers alone.

He jumped on the bed and she trailed her fingers over his chiseled pecs. Her hand ended up on the angel tattoo.

Leander pushed her on the bed and his lips crashed on hers. Within some minutes, her clothes were all sprawled on the floor and he was moving inside her.

"My Jophiel," he mumbled as he came inside her.

Viviana was drunk by him and she didn’t hear him properly. Closing her eyes, she reveled in his musky scent.

"I want you more, Leo," she whispered. "I am getting greedier."

Leander kissed her forehead. Her hair was messy and her face was red with blush. Her lips were curved up and she smelled so good.

He wanted to take her once more too. But...

"It’s almost time. You aren’t getting dressed to meet your father?" he asked.

Viviana opened her eyes wide. "Oh, f*ck!" she jumped down from the bed and rushed to the bathroom. Leander watched her with a smile.
